Mr Unknown 132 July 21, 2015 Share July 21, 2015 How did you find MLP Forums?: No one I knew around me liked MLP: FiM, so I decided to join a forum where I could talk about it with other people. How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Well, originally I hated the show. Honestly, I did. I never WATCHED it, but I just felt off whenever I'd see something MLP related. "That's just weird" I'd think to myself. I'd watched College Humour's "My Little Brony" and thought to myself "That seems pretty accurate", without having actually seen a Brony in real life before. Eventually, though, curiosity got the best of me and I started watching a couple of the MLP: FiM fan-works, with the first one being Pony.Mov (A strange introduction into the fandom, I know). After it was over, I thought that even though it was pretty strange, I wanted to see the characters in less-crass scenarios. Around a month ago, I gave in and watched the first episode of the series. It hooked me like a quadruple hook on a hungry bass. I proceeded to watch almost every episode of MLP: FiM (except for the ones that I hear are terrible, such as "Putting Your Hoof Down".) As my name is Mr Unknown, I'm not gonna give TOO much information here, like name, country, etc. One thing that I WILL say, though, is how I don't know if I want to be called a "Brony". I just feel like there's a lot of negative connotations with such a title, like the average person or even my own friends would look at me in a very different light because of it. I'm also not a very normal person to begin with, so I'd rather not give people any more ammo than they already have. I'm still in High School, by the way, so it makes it even MORE complicated. I'm planning on revealing my love for the show AFTER graduation, as I'd be out of that hostile environment. On another note, I've just recently started 3D modeling and animating, and I think it could be my future career. Sure, I've only just begone, but I have some interesting ideas, maybe a couple MLP related too, I guess I'll just see what happens! 11 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But it's cool to see that I'm not the only one that's experienced a sudden conversion. And yeah I totally understand the doubts you have, regarding the term Brony. I'm a total fan myself, but MLP is just one of those things I'm perfectly okay with keeping to myself and a close circle of friends. What they don't know won't hurt 'em, and actions speak louder than words. Yadda yadda. Also, that's cool to hear. A friend of mine has dabbled in 3d modeling and I can tell it's no breeze. Props for even trying, personally I don't think I'd ever have the patience for trying stuff like that. But yeah, welcome! Edited July 21, 2015 by Dust Caper 9 Ohay. So I checked it out to see what all the hubbub was about. Next thing I know, I was watching it like a crack addict. Hope you have a good time here 10 I refuse to let go until you're impressed. It's just, I'm so new to this fandom that I haven't even decided who my favorite Mane Six character is! I started out kinda against this fandom. With other 100 episodes, though, it took almost a month to watch most of them! Good luck on them. :lol: Thanks Little Red, I'm currently working on a 3D FNAF animation (I started it a while ago, before I started getting sick of FNAF, don't judge me ) It's mostly been just an exercise in patience, you know, seeing if I'm patient enough to go through it all and make a full 1 minute long animation.
