sweetolebob18 728 January 1, 2016 Share January 1, 2016 Yes. Spike is to MLP what Xander was to Buffy the Vampire Slayer. There are too many characters & I, for one, feel he's the 1 that would least be missed
cider float 2,538 January 1, 2016 Share January 1, 2016 (edited) I feel they just gave upon Spike just relegating him to an extra instead of a supporting character. The past attempts to make him interesting with Spike episodes were very poor like Princess Spike. It just felt like a very typical episode of a typical children's show from Cartoon Network. KikiTwilight 90 January 1, 2016 Share January 1, 2016 No, no, no, no! No way! To be honest, I usually don't notice Spike, but he is an important part of both show and Twilight's life. They spent a lot of time together, and he's her best friend. I often thought how she would feel if she was left without him. I bet she'd be very sad. Plus, Spike is often shown as a very understanding and mature character. He was the only one who saw what was happening to Twilight in Lesson Zero. And I love his sarcasm. His episodes are pretty bad though, and I hope he'll get some better ones in the future.
Varrack 1,080 January 1, 2016 Share January 1, 2016 No he shouldn't, but I don't think he should get whole episodes to himself either. This is a show about ponies after all, isn't it?
Rocky 68 January 2, 2016 Author Share January 2, 2016 I think at the end of the day, I just want Spike to be considered an important part of the cast. You don't really even need to give him episodes about that. Just have him involved more with the Mane Six's adventures and give him a role using what he's good at. That and if there's a time where the writers want the audience to know how much Spike means to his friends, show. Don't tell.
