Revenge of Queen Chrysalis Fanfic help

So I'm making a fanfic for queen chrysalis and her main goal is to turn each of the main ponies against each other. (i.e. Twilight, AJ, RD, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie, Celestia, Luna, Cadence, and Shining Armor only)

 

So my request is for ways that Chrysalis can influence the ponies into quarreling.

 

An example is:

 

Chrysalis exploits Rarity's superior sense of style and convinces her to embroider AJ's hat. This, in turn, angers AJ, who then gets the idea from chrysalis to "spruce up" her collection.

 

Also, The Setting is Canterlot Castle.

 

 

The idea is that one way or another, everypony starts quarreling.

 

So... Any thoughts?

Discordant by Ezra09  has Discord using Chrysalis as the Element of Deceit in an attempt to create Elements of Chaos.  She disguised herself as Rarity & mocked Spike for his feelings for her.  I'd try:

Disguise herself as Fluttershy (she is cutest) & make a play for Shining Armor.  Presumably she knows enough about him to have some ideas.

AJ & Dash have an athletic rivalry as it is -play to increase it.

You willing to go Teen rated, disguise as Dash & let AJ see you peeing in a cider barrel after losing contest. Try to avoid being killed & make remark about "guess how many others?"  The financial loss + boast all over town you did it to hurt cider sales

Let Fluttershy see you make play for Big Mac (if you ship FlutterMac)

As Rarity, punish Apple Bloom for something the Crusaders did & make remarks about how AJ & Big Mac are too uncouth to be responsible guardians & are doing poor job raising her.

As Twilight, take Dash to task for neglecting Scootaloo.  Something cutting about abandoning all her responsibilities & that is why she isn't a Wonderbolt

that's some harsh stuff. I, in fact, already reached T rating for the gore that will happen. And we're missing the other three princesses.

 

I like it, though.

 

harsh means good in this field. I'm not sure about the play, but if I'm reading that right, you just mean acting the hypocrite and make one feel good and turn around and play the same card on someone else? I like it.

 

That part with Rarity judging Applebloom's sister and brother as irresponsible. Priceless!

 

That last one with Scootaloo's just pushing it. That would drive her, if not all 3, to suicide simply because RD is her idol. To hear that is heartbreaking. But not a bad start.

Hey, you're trying to break up friendships.  Harsh is the only way to go -sweetness & light won't cut it. 

 

But as to Dash peeing in the barrel, dash out the door, change & point -she went that way.  Go to bars "Give me cider now, before the new stuff arrives"  Explain why.  God knows I'D never drink cider again!  AJ's farm is doubtless dependent on cider sales.  Pretend to be drunk at the time so ponies will understand why Dash claims not to remember.  Do this when Dash is off taking a nap, so no alibi.
