Our story begins 6 months from where we left off... Snowflake joined the assassin's who killed his parents and had successfully fended off the Equestrian Army becoming the most feared group in all of Equestria... as time went on the group grew larger hiring some of the best swordspony, assassins, spell casters, etc in all of Equestria... the group had gotten a lot of attention lately and bounties on their individual heads were high... The stronghold came under attack and cost the life of many good Assassins... one being Snowflake's apprentice Frostbyte and the assassin leader Jonathan... Snowflake had become the next leader for being Jonathan's protege though Snowflake did nothing... he was in a deep depression for one month until that day came... that day is today...

"Alright then lets test this out again." Alamo says looking upon his newest addition to the base a prototype moving target testing area, which he had been working on for the past few weeks, costing him some of his hard earned money to pay for the supplies. "I swear if this works I want a raise." Alamo says as he pulls a lever that moves some dummies around in a little carts, and see that one still doesn't move. "Gonna run of good rope and wood at this rate." Alamo says going back into the testing area to fix the dummies.

Caliber wandered (ba-dum-tiss) around the stronghold, looking for something to do. 

 

he was already done with his rtaining for the day...and even for tomorrow...already eaten...nobody to spar with...

"im bored!" he said, to no one in particular. "i need something to do!"

Rave was within a section of the stronghold that contained a library. He was reading mostly books about history. However, he also had some maps in front of him that he was studying. To Rave, it was important to be constantly studying the landscape, otherwise the enemy, be it a present or a future one, could take advantage of the surroundings, and he was not about to let that happen.

you hear some of the nearby assassins gossiping "man I'm not sure about this... I mean ever since Jonathan died this group has gone far down hill... and our new so called leader hasn't done a thing ever since he took charge..."... "chill dude he was pretty close with his apprentice who died on that day as well and I think I remember him saying Jonathan saved his life so of course he's gonna be depressed a little"

The Doctor walks up to you "Ah, dere you are Darkmane, I'fe been looking for you. Zomething I need tesded out in the courdyard nov if you'll follov me."

(he doesn't tell anyone his real name he is just The Doctor... I hope you remember him from that older RP we did)

@@Snowflake Frostflame "Egg head, hahaha you wish I'm more of a builder with ideas other than that i'm likely  stronger than you buddy, ain't as well trained but I don't have to be a egg head to notice it, anyways welcome to your new testing arena, with moving dummies better training for better pumpkin  heads like you but none the less its done and you hopefully get trained but it you intentionally break the arena, i'll break you now get your buddies and get to training, don't get yourself so flabby." Rave looked up from his maps at the Doctor. He pondered the Doctor's request for a moment, before standing up from a table that he was sitting by.

 

"Very well then". He started packing his own things into his saddlebag that he had constantly with him. He put away the maps and books that belonged to the library. He then got back to the Doctor. "Lead the way".

The Doctor lead you out into the courtyard "Nov, I zorta lied apout testing zomething. ve vill not be testing anything I chust vanded to keep it ein zurbrize. He vished to speak vith you"... The Doctor walked off after showing you a cloaked figure...

Rave was following the Doctor, however, he wasn't too surprised that he had been led to someone rather than led to do something. He nodded as the Doctor explained and left. He looked at the cloaked figure. "So.... it seems you want my presence? What could it be now? Haven't done much for a while now, have we?".

caliber turned to look at the pony who was saying he needed to be escorted. bummer...he was just about to mess with those gossiping ponies...

 

he walked up to the two, and puffed out his cheeks. "your not escorting me, im following you." he said, letting himself be guided

"sure what ever..." the guard escorted the two of them to the main gates... other assassins were watching trying to understand what was going on... usually if you're getting escorted it meant something important... once outside the main gates Darkmane was seen with the cloaked figure "I've brought them as you requested" The guard turned back into the stronghold and signaled the gate guard to close the gates... the main gates were closed then locked... "we got ourselves a job colts..." the pony turns around and reveals himself to be Snowflake who hadn't been seen in a month "a job of a life time, somepony is willing to pay the Shadow Lurkers quite a bit for a this... so I have picked you three to come along with me"

he merely looked at him for a bit, before grinning. "i already got money, so my interest is waning fast. tell me...what kind of job is this gonna be? heist? assassination? maybe just scare someone?"

Money had never ever interested by Rave. Unlike most ponies, Rave did not know the greed for money. However, his interests were dark artifacts. Instead of stating a form of complaint, he just nodded to Snowflake, indicating that he was ready, no matter what it was. He wanted to see some action, even though he enjoyed studying, he also wanted to do something exciting.

"we're gonna be goin to unknown lands... there is another island out there full of riches and ancient artifacts but most importantly I hear of weapons unlike any other... mystical daggers, swords, hammers, staffs, crossbows, spears... if we got our hooves on those and gave them to every assassin in our hold we'd be unstoppable.... the island is uninhabited by any domestic creature and could possibly have feral islanders... you three are the best choices for this mission"

caliber grinned wider. the money bit, and the weapon bit still didn't interest him...after all, he had never encountered a sword of a higher caliber (ba-dum-tss) then his own. and he doubted that there would be a better sword on this island. 

 

that, and he already had a fortune of bits from back when he was 'The Wanderer'

 

...wow, its been a while since he thought about those days.

 

but where his interest was in the fact that this particular island was dangerous. hostile through and through...just how he liked it. strong enemies, survival and victory not guaranteed...basically a challenge for his skill.

 

"ill go." he said, "when do we leave?"

Rave kept on thinking about the ancient artifacts. "Could it maybe be dark artifacts? I do hope they are, I might be able to keep those and use them" he thought, however, he snapped out of his thought and focused on Snowflake again. "Nothing shall stand in our way" he was referring to the 'feral islanders'. "We will see our mission through" he promised.

I knew I picked the right stallions... and to answer your questions... yes I believe some of the artifacts are enchanted with dark energies... hopefully nothing too strong for you Darkmane... and we'll be boarding a ship at Vanhoover a city to the north west of here... the ship arrives at 1400 hours tomorrow... be there and be ready" just as Snowflake was about to leave his sister pounces on him from a tree wearing an assassins attire as well "oh can I come"...

Rave's face went red as Snowflake suggested that he might not be strong enough to handle some dark artifacts. "No artifacts are too strong for me.... besides... I will have 'outside help'" he thought to himself. His face went a bit redder when he started to explain Vanhoover's location, since Rave knew about it, having studied the maps. However, his frustration disappeared as soon as Snowflake's sister jumped her brother and he chuckled.

Snowflake grumbled "no you cannot come, your magic may be strong but you wouldn't last long out there"... "oh come on... please..." Snowflake levitated his sister off of him and stood up "you know little on survival, you're barely an assassin..." "the others will vouch for me... right guys?"...

Rave had not spent much time with Snowflake's sister, so he did not know her all to well. He certainly had seen her a lot around, but never really talked much to her or much about her with Snowflake, he had never payed her that much heed. So he just looked up into the air and started to whistle rather innocently.

@@Snowflake Frostflame "I can't give an opinion on her cause I've never seen how well she is trained, I say she doing good so far if she caught you off guard of all ponies and your the leader here if she had been a counter assassin you would def be dead so I don't know, plus it couldn't be bad for her to at least have some experience in her belt." *Alamo says smiling*
