I first really hurd the word brony from the show Good Mythical Morning. after watching the episode on their view of bronies, i disided to look deeper on what a brony was, cus they don't really explain. so i did some googleing and saw how big the fandom is. so disided to take a deeper look. i watched saber-sparks vidio ballad of the brony and afterwords disided to bite the bullit and watch an episode. my first episode was " do ponys dream of sheep"  and of course, 1 turned into 2 then into 10. a while later i disided to order seasons 1-3 on amazon and at that point i realized... IM... IM A BRONY. so confused, so i watched some more with the idea that im being sucked in by the community and not the tv show and... 1 turned into 2 then into 10... so now 4 months later im proud to be a brony with a good amount of merch, but no one knows that i am one.

 

Im a guy that dose many things.  I love... woodworking, welding, metal fab, you tube, machining, working on cars, shooting ars, airsofting, working on the farm ( I live on one in iowa ), sound and lighting engineering ( thats my hobby beleive it or not ), and the one im most known for, im a DJ. I dj most of the dances for my small town high school and love to mix music. now that im in collage ive got a crap ton of stress via engineering major. so ive been doing a lot more mixing, and joined the air soft team. i actually posted my first mix on mix-cloud not to long ago. ( https://www.mixcloud.com/DJ_RomegaD/homecoming-2015-intro-mix/). but the only thing that makes me smile during the day is watching mlp, i dont know why but it just dose. ive hurd that the community is really good so i thought that i might try it out. anyone got tips for telling you life long friends that you got interested in something that they dont understand, i still haven't told anyone yet, and to be honest i don't really want to "come out of the stable" from fear of losing friends or being disowned my my family.

As for telling your friends on being interested with MLP, I have never told anyone either and I don't really know how to help, but I think if they are really good and close friends, they might at least understand that MLP makes you happy even if they don't understand the appeal themselves.
