Smoothing lines in Krita

Hi, I'm wondering if any freehand digital artists can help me here.

 

I'm trying to sketch Twilight's mother using Krita, but her outlines feel kinda unclean here. I'm using the mouse, as I'm not sure if my computer supports tablet input, and a drawing tablet is a little expensive for me at the moment. Anyone know of a good brush/good techniques I can use to smooth out her lines?

 

I'm not looking to make super detailed art for this particular piece, but at least better than MS Paint quality. Sorta going for how they do it in ask tumblrs...say like this:
