Aw. Come on, now. Perhaps the idea of using literal character designs for it might be a slight bit awkward, but I definitely don't think that making brands of tampons with fun designs would hurt.

In short, in the words of "An Old Fashioned Love Song" stuff "Comes in to fashion & goes out of style"

Give it 5 years & it will mercifully be gone.  The bad news is it will undoubtedly be replaced by some other Horror From Hell, just as bad or worse
