Brotherhooves Social, and I have no idea why this isn't canon.

I know Brotherhooves Social, is just a twist on Sisterhooves Social, just with Apple Bloom and Big Mac, since it was set up for AJ away in Manehattan with Rarity, and having to miss the sister event. But aside from seeing more TwiShining sibling time snuck into the series, Brotherhooves Social just has me craving a certain pony pair to be made canon as siblings.

Bulk Biceps and Featherweight. I just think if canonized as siblings, it would be utterly adorable. The stark contrast of design and body type makes them cute together but I also think Bulk, given from what we've glimpsed of his personality thus far, would be a sweet, protective, and goofy big brother to Featherweight.

I wanna see more Thunderlane and Rumble

me too. Maybe it could be a Scootaloo episode. Whie RD is away for the day, doing Wonderbolt recuit stuff, and SweetieBloom are busy with their sisters, Scoots finds time to hang with Thunderland and Rumble, who takes her a their sis for the day. Might be cute. As well as opening up the CMC to make new friends, like the mane6 have been doing.

Am I the only one that doesn't see a resemblance?

I'm sorta confused as to why this should be official  :sunbutt:

They need not share a physical resemblance ( see Twilight and Shining Armor for example), the adorableness comes from the juxtaposition of Bulk Bi being all huge, and jacked up, biggest (comically oversized) pegusi on the whole show with Featherweight being the most skinny, scrawnyist, smallest (comically undersized) pegasi on the whole show.

And they are both Pegasus ponies... So bros.

It would be kinda funny. We need more cannon pony bros in MLP.

most definitely. I mean, there's only 3 canon siblings with brothers; Twilight anc Shining Armor, and AppleJack/ Apple bloom and Big mac, and Thunderlane and Rumble, and neither of them hang out with those brothers. And Rumble and Thunderlane we've only had mention of

I think it would have been adorable to see more ponies participating in the social that aren't technically related like Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo.

I suppose. I really want them to be actual brothers, but seeing as how close adash and Scoots are, then I guess it doesn't necessarily matter if Bulk and Feather were more like that too.

There's also Tirek and Scorpan, and Flim and Flam.

Plus you could probably consider Spike to be the equivalent of a brother to Twilight too.

I would consider Twilight Sparkle and Spike to have more of a mother/son relationship.  In "The Cutie Mark Chronicles", we learn that Twilight used magic to hatch Spike from his egg.  That implies motherhood over sisterhood.  In a less literal perspective, we see Twilight raising him like how a mother raises her kid.  In "Owl's Well that Ends Well", Twilight is scolding him for his jealous behavior, and assuming a role of authority while doing so.  That is displaying a mother/son relationship as well.

Their ages are too close imo; She was just a tiny filly when she hatched him. I see it as a sibling relationship if anything. In fact, when I first watched Owl's Well That Ends Well, I myself saw Twilight as being like a big sister there (which I LOVED, at least on that first watch. Only child here, and now and then I guess I kind of want a big sister).

exactly. His line of "you're not mommy", in one old episode (I think it was winter wrap up?) Should prve that he doesn't think of Twi as his mom, and that relationship between them isn't possible, in spite of her hatching him. Twi didn't LAY his egg, only hatched it. That should be clear that Dragons, upon hatching, don't work like ducks.

While Spike doesn't literally think of Twilight as his mom, I do think that their relationship is mother/son-like, as well as brother/sister-like. There are aspects of both types of relationships. The difference in age, the difference in aging (it seems that ponies generally mature at a faster rate than dragons), and the difference in species makes their relationship difficult to define to a cut-and-dry degree.

gven the episode where we saw Spike and told how dragons mature, I'd say that they mature far quickly than ponies, but we may be getting off topic fro the op
