The white trim was likely to avoid trademark infringement, and those images are too low-quality to determine what the logo is, but it is a nice reference (especially as someone who almost ended up working for that company). I had always assumed it was representative of bubblewrap, which one finds in mail/packaging (hence mailmare), and is something I'm sure she would just love to pop, as well. Also indicative of a bubbly personality. Would be interested to hear other theories if this isn't the general consensus.
