"Bring him back here if you can. He'll need to be questioned now." Luna watched on as Indicus pursued another Alicorn.  She thought about calling the rest of the guard to aid, but what good would any of them do against an Alicorn, and one with potentially uncontrolled powers at that? No, she knew Indicus well enough that he could tackle this situation on his own. And if worse came to worse, she could very well intervene herself, plus she had the princess of the sun and the best guard captain she had seen in years.

Madness looked up to see his clone flying off, and said,  to himself

"Guess he was caught."

 

Madness clone looked behind, to see Indicus following him  He flipped over, so he was flying on his back, and said, while shooting beam all over,

"I'm am not going to a lab, to get test down on me." 

He ducked down and shifted his appearance into a completely random pony

Indicus blocked the beam flying at him and when Madness disguised Indicus was rather unimpressed he just went after the pony with the obviously greater aura and could even tell that where any clones were because of the magical link between them. "Damn it Madness your not going to be tested on I was after your Fucking clone because it stole a damn book then shot at Luna and I with a damn spell. I was just going to catch him get the books that he stole back then come get you guys now that I know that the princesses won't flip out on us." Indicus shouted out

The clone appeared and changed back into his form. He said, 

"Okay, but I'm actually the clone."

Madness flew to them and said, when he saw Indicus and the clone, 

"Hi there, I see you got some book"

He reached into the bag and pulled out the books, and read them off, mostly to himself,

"Some journal with a few good spells, ideas of alicorns, and an unknown one."

Then he placed them back in the bag, except the unknown one, he put it in his bag.

"Sorry about that, guess we still have the idea that we are going to be tested on."

"Well your not, also return the damn books once your done including the untitled one that your clone stole." Indicus replied hiding his agitation behind a wall of sternness. Indicus almost walked away on that before adding, "Meet me at the castle, i'll bring the others and we can get this all sorted out." Indicus finally walked away silently hoping that Madness would not become one more power hungry bastard to put down.

Madness and his clone flew to the caslte. he grabbed the unknown book and flew, on his back, while looking through the spells. He couldn't believe what he was see, there was spells for necromancy, shadows, and other dark stuff. He looked around to see if any pony was around. then he reach into his bag and grabbed another book, and found the spell he was looking. A duplication spell. He used it on the spell and now he has his own copy. When they reached the castle, they set the books, except his own, on the table and waited

Dawn watched the others and sighed. "Well, that could've gone better." She thought as she stopped meditating and sensed a presence behind her. "It's good to see you again, Tempest."

 

The bat pony frowned slightly and moved out of the shadows. "Aww, no fair." He said, giving a small pout. The bat pony then noticed Dawn's new appearance and smiled. "You look good."

 

The alicorn blushed slightly. "Thanks. The others are in the castle."

Madness thought about it and said, to the clone,

"Why don't we go apologize to Luna, for almost blasting here, and to show no hard feeling, let add a small scent to the drink."

"That sound like a good idea."

They looked through the books and found the two spell they were looking for. He made a drink, with of some kind a flower, probably a rose or something. They walked up to Luna and said, in unison,

"Um, we're sorry for trying to blast you with Shadow magic, Here's a harmless drink to show we're sorry and hopefully no hard feelings."

Luna quirked an eyebrow at the beverage materialized and offered before her. "As much we as would like, and could probably use, one, tis too early in the afternoon.  Plus we do not trust any of the spell books here, as any one of them may have been the cause of the incident that occurred here last night. So we must decline, Mr.?"

"Oh, I forgot that I haven't introduced me, us. Our name is Madness Cloud, and we didn't know what happened here."

Madness clone, gulped the drink and made the glass disappear.

"So what happen here. You mention to not trust any spell book."

"So maybe a dark spell."

"No, that would have killed us. Maybe a random spell gone wrong."

"Yeah, that's probably it."

"We will be waiting until Sir Inducus returns. He will need to be sent back out to retrieve these others that have been effected. All of you are now a part of this investigation. This may very well be a matter of national security." She made a move to leave. "Wait here while we speak with our sister. And we doth implore you, do not touch, or read, anything in this room."

The Madnesses shrugged and said, as they reached, into the bag on the table, to grab his books.

"K, we'll just read the book we brought with us."

They started reading the books and talking about spells that they want to try later and in what order to try and write them down.

@@Drago Ryder, Indicus's first stop was to find Dawn, he did after a short time finding that she was talking to a stallion that he did not know though seemed familiar. "Dawn I hate to interrupt but I spoke to Lu... er Princess Luna and she would like to see you and the others, Madness is already there."

Sapphire stood in one of the castle rooms in somewhat an amount of disbelief. The last few hours had turned her sister and her own quite post being the only two guards in Ponyville to having half of Canterlot's garrison running around. Standing in the room was herself Captain Shinning Armour, her sister and a few other ranking ponies in the guard, they were arguing about the next course of action now that two alicorns have popped up from no where. The conversation came to a conclusion, that the new alicorns should be asked questions so that they could be monitored and cured if possible. Then was a call for a volunteer to lead a team to see to the local area and find more clues if possible, non stood forward apart from Sapphire, "if you wish my sister."

Sapphire and a few other guards walked outside the castle now actively looking for any clues...

Madness got bored reading the book, and making more clones. he went to the window and looked out, then he noticed some guard outside. He got a crazy idea, also he wanted a laugh. So he summoned spiders and snakes around them and made them slowly move towards the group.

Out of no where a encirclement of snakes and spiders surrounded Sapphire and her comrades, "what magic is this? deal with these creatures!" a quick and bloody mess was made as the group fought and defeated the creatures (OOC: treated them as pony sized creatures) as the animals were defeated they vanished from sight, leaving no trace. "this is magical work going on here, check the surrounding area and find the culprit or culprits!" The group broke up and Sapphire teleported to a parapet on the castle looking for anypony that might of been the puppet master.

Dawn glanced at Indictus and nodded slightly. "Ok I'll be right there." She said. The alicorn then glanced at Tempest and smiled. "I'll see you later, I guess."

 

Tempest gave a quick nod and exited the room. "I'll see you there, then." He said, before walking through the castle.

Madness laughed like a filly at the battle. It was entertaining, but boredom has seeped in again. Then he got an idea, why not dress the other clones as mice and himself as a guard. He levitated one of his books to him and flipped through the pages, until he found the spell. His horn charged up and all the clone turned into mice. He looked at himself and saw that he had armor on. He looked in a mirror and saw that he still had his pure black eyes. He shrugged his shoulders and walked out of the library with a smile on his face

Indicus made sure to let the others know about the meeting and headed to the castle so said meeting could take place. The first thing he noticed was one of Madness's antics with his clone spell bothering a couple of guards he sighed and with a spell the mice were swallowed in shadows now dead and unable to bother the guards. Without a pause he went into the library hoping to get all this taken care of.

Madness watched Indicus destroy all of his clones walk into the library. He wanted to get him for that, but realized he didn't know how to get rid of them, then he remember he looks like a guard. He followed and said while trying not to laugh,

"May I help you, Sir."

A clone survived be hiding, He decided to get out of the area of the castle before he changes, once he was in a different area, he turned into a guard, with his pure black eyes, and started waking around and then spotted a  guard looking around. He decided to try this  skin out. He walked up to the guard and said, 

"What are you looking for?"

"you weren't at the meeting where you? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR EYES!?" Sapphire blushed and held her hoof to her mouth, "I'm sorry...for...for that rudeness anyway it's a need to know basis pony return back to your post, keep and eye out for anymore alicorns or anything else odd, report anything to your officers." what the hell is wrong with his eyes, creepy She gestured for him to leave. "I'm busy guardsmen".

First Lieutenant Lightning Blade was just arriving back at the castle with the rest of his squad after being summoned by the princesses. He couldn't imagine what was going on that would need this many guards at once, but assumed it was either an attack or a situation of national security. Either way, he was preparing to go in prepared, and had his sword ready just in case.

 

Arriving in the throne room, he looked around and saw complete pandemonium. "What the hell's going on around here?!" he shouted in exasperation.

Madness tried to not get mad at was said, it was always the eyes the ponies saw first, but then again he was used to it. He said, 

It's okay. Ponies are almost always scared of them the first time. I was born this way. I wasn't at the meeting. Well, bye.

As he was walking out the door, he thought about who to try on next. He thought about it, then realized that he hasn't tried Luna

A pair of double doors opened. The diarchs, as well as Spike riding atop Shining Armor walked out. 

 

"And you can confirm this?" "I can. Sir Indicus is proof enough. He is also bring several others to meet us here. If there are others within Ponyville, they shall be located." 

"But your Highness, what kind of magic could do something like that on such a scale as ponyville, as well as do, that, to Twily & Cady?" 

 

"Only the journal of Starswirl contains a spell that elaborate. Has the scene been isolated?"

"Yes your majesty. No pony allowed in or out since the local guard responded. Guards stationed at the doors as ordered." 

 

"We'll need to update the guards orders and see if Sir Indus has returned with these others you spoke about." 

The four of them made their way down to the mane hall where the guard had congregated.
