As for an episode with a sad ending, I think that the S4 premier, Princess twilight sparkle, counts.
Its an episode where the heroes suffer a legitimate "loss" in that they are forced to forever give up the elements of harmony to solve the problem. Even if the day is saved, they've just lost their most powerful weapon and only trump card.

 

That was one reason I liked S4's premier so much, in addition to having a nice bit of screentime for the other five to do something for once besides just being a cheer squad.

Threads like these are always good. I'm not even commenting on the obvious. It is what it is.

 

I honestly do not hate anything about this show. Yes, it has flaws like some predictable plots and some bland side characters. But that aside, it's more than competently made. It hasn't had one episode that I've found to be even close to unwatchably bad. Even regarding personal, opinionated reasons to not enjoy it, all I have to say is that I'm not always into the lighthearted nature of the show and I crave something darker on occasion, and even that craving is satisfied on occasion.

 

But hey, that's one opinion. Not insulting anyone else's, you know the story, this thread is hilarity.

I hate when songs take too much time from the actual episode. Musicals are fine, because they're musicals, but normal episodes with a long ass song? No thanks.

I hate how the writers are all of a sudden adding toilet humour to make the show seem funnier. It doesn't need toilet hunour.

 

First in the song "Glass Of Water", and recently just in "Hearthbreakers", the words weren't directly toilet humour, but they count (the words contained the word "com" if you're wondering what they were, figure the rest of the worst out).

I wouldn't call it hate on my part but Tara Strong recently was taken off my favorite voice actresses list. I do wish her the best in her career, but I have no interest in getting her autograph anymore. I still like Twilight Sparkle though :3

Well there was a certain vine video Tara did where she said "We like doing Go!" then the VA for Beast Boy and Cyborg Says the same thing.  Then they released an episode of... that show they call Teen Titans Go! Where they joke about "character development" and "story arcs" not being shown in the series. I was mad about it originally but I stopped getting mad about it the next day. I just decided to not make it my problem. If they enjoy making a cartoon series that I don't enjoy, I'll let them. It's not my problem.

I'm sorry it's not up to your standards, but it's just a cartoon, if kids like it, oh well too bad. The point is that you shouldn't get bitter at a voice actress for trying to enjoy her job.

Most performers try not to get so super attached to the things they work on like their fans do.

This WHOLE THREAD is about childish and petty hatred of certain things about a kids show.

No it's not about it mattering, it's about you holding a grudge on Tara Strong for trying to have fun while paying her bills.

Actors can't always be picky with the gigs they get. And she's probably got a contract forcing her to always do work on anything Teen Titans related. So she can do it and be miserable the whole time, or she can try and have fun.

If you're going to be petty, get mad at the people that created that piece of crap show.

 

And believe me, one crap show isn't going to be what affects a kid's taste for the rest of their life. I used to watch Captain Planet as a kid, and LOVED IT. But I also loved (and still love) Samurai Jack, SWAT Kats, Batman the Animated Series, ReBoot, Dexter's Lab, PPG and countless other acclaimed and loved animated shows.

The OP (according to another thread they made) has deep-seated issues with the MLP based on personal problems and wants to see what about it pisses other people off. But most other people realize that they are watching a cartoon about candy colored horses and don't have giant sticks up their bums.

 

Also you didn't even mention an issue you had with the show. Just an issue you have with a performer on the show.

Hmm... and apparently since performance doesn't matter. My waste of a contribution to the thread doesn't matter either.

 

Basically after all the time we three wasted on replying to each other; I don't really have anything I hate about the show. It's more of a nit pick about the method of animation. But they animate the show so well to a point where I don't really care about that either.

Even though i dont watch the show anymore, i actually really liked most of it.

 

The only thing i hated was the Art Style. I hate Flash Cartoons. All of them.

By some perspectives the pony faces look weird and the show style couldnt been more simplistic.

I mean, Flash was created, to make animating easier, right?

THEN WHY DO YOU ALSO HAVE TO MAKE YOUR DRAWINGS AS EASY AS POSSIBLE?

 

I absolute hate the drawing style. I like every other Generation drawing style better.

I can still accept it and find it cute, but its the worst in my opinion.
