It may not work out since were having an episode like that today. And it may feel to familiar to get into it. HereComesTom 2,268 October 24, 2015 Share October 24, 2015 The Pinkie Pie chapter-book actually did a pretty good job focusing on Pinkie's family, so an episode about her family could be construed as covered. (Not that I'd mind either the book being adapted to an episode or another episode about Pinkie's family.) One focusing on the Cakes, on the other hand, hasn't been covered and could be really interesting. You could make the case Baby Cakes was one, since it showed how hard it is to balance a work-life and a family-life, even when it's a family business, but more of the same would be nice. green 331 October 24, 2015 Share October 24, 2015 so you don't think the writers can come up with another reason to involve Pinkie's immediate family with other ponies in different circumstances? In spite of all the times we've gotten to see the Apple family and relatives doing their thing? It depends. What circumstance can they come up with that'll be different than todays story? That would be great! A Family-Hooves Social type episode would be fun! And I guess this could be a good idea to use in the show later if the staff decides to. Pound and Pumpkin hardly seemed incapable. On the contrary, they were pretty intelligent, in using their abilities to drive even Pinkie bananas. And they've grown a bit, since then. cmarston1 5,959 October 25, 2015 Share October 25, 2015 Hmm. An episode about the cake family. Well seeing how this season has been giving some more focus on background characters and secondary characters, I would be fine with them getting an episode to themselves sometime soon. (Even though it won't be in this season.)

We saw them two episodes ago, and they're still babies like they've been since their first episode. And its less that they have to be crafty, and more that they should be intelligent enough to actually have characters that can fully interact with and bounce off other characters, not just give a character a baby to deal with. She had evough sense, at that age, to steal a plate full of applefritters, eat them under the table, and ask for more, when caught red handed. I THINK the Cake twins, at the same age, could do the same Under the Jellicle Moon- a site with cuteness, cat boys, and comic strips / Star Dreams Fanclub
Kyoshi Frost Wolf 41,803 October 29, 2015 Share October 29, 2015 Dude! This could be the name of the episode. Sounds cool to me. Perhaps seeing some interaction between Pinkie's parents and the cakes. Obviously they have completely different lifestyles, so it would be cool to see them interact in that way. Have they even met each other? Methinks not. Kinda weird that Pinkie's parents would have never met the people whom she lives with now.

Applejack was saying coherent sentences, while the most the Cake twins have ever done is say Pinkie's name in their sleep. All the other times we've seen them, they've only made baby noises. chirox the pony 1,336 October 29, 2015 Share October 29, 2015 The cakes aren't that interesting and haven't had enough time put into their personalities for such a major thing to happen. No matter how hard I try these ponies will simply never leave me.
