Not that i don't like spongebob since i love spongebob but another movie doesn't seem like a great idea. The show has already gone down hill anyway and the second movie i thought was just... boring compared to the first. (The first movie was the best!).

This...could be overdoing it. Now, I have not seen the second one yet, but the first one was pretty good. Not perfect by any means, but still quite cool. The series was originally supposed to end with that film though. Making a third one seems a bit overkill, but this could be because I most love the first 3-4 seasons of the show, after that the quality diminished drastically. I will keep an eye on this though, I am surprised a third one is even being made. The second was apparently really good so, hey, anything is possible.

I'm okay with this, except that they are probably going to have to stop work on the show AGAIN to get this film up and running, just like they did with the second one. I liked both films, and the show seems to be going through a bit of a Renaissance in terms of quality, IMHO, nowhere near pre movie, but still a lot better than it has been recently. I'm just worried that if they halt production again, that increase in quality may dissapear when they get back.

Ah......well all I have to say is...this BETTER be good. Like it has to be...it's crucial that this upcoming movie is successful. Because if it isn't....there will be many smug people out there saying "see? told you they are going down in flames."

As much as I love SpongeBob (Pre-movie... Seasons 5 an onward are horrendous), and as good as the second movie was, I think one was enough. The first movie should have completely ended the show, which was the intention in the first place.

As a big fan, I have to say that the first film was excellent. The second film wasn't AS good because it felt like the adventure wasn't as big, it felt more contained. Though I gave it more of a pass because it felt like an homage to the first film. However as time has gone on, the series has declined in quality and with the second film being just "okay", I think a third one may be overdoing it.
