In milennia far after the princesses, after the elements, discord and sombra, chrysalis and tirek. Ponies live seperate to one another. Griffin's, Unicorns, the fairer of races live at the height of society, in a mass metal city, far in the clouds. Keeping the 'filth' at the bottom. Building of the misery of those poor and unabe to gain power in politics and the like.

 

Pegasi, Earth Pony, Donkey, Zebra and the like races are left in the muck, the sewage pits, festering with corpses of those unable to be healed with the items dumped through the chutes. There are few of the above classes and races that are down in this gangrenous wound on Equestria. The entirety of this City's existence, a pus filled boil on Equestria's Once Beliefs.

 

Other cities like this stand tall, but this one is where there will be change, where a downtrodden will rise. To raze the cities to the ground, or to build them higher. The roads ahead are long. Yet you, and those around you know one thing. One thing alone; there is no rest for those wicked enough to rise above their festering soul.

Hello my chums, Welcome to A Gloom Darkness, Looming. It holds the watered down story of one of my many Sci-fi fictions here on my computer. Never going to publish them, just ponify. Anyway, the story is based at the base of the city named Plethora Fallows. The largest, and most grueling city out of the many dotting Equis.

 

You can play as one of the many mythical races, ranging from unicorn to gargoyle. Though, MLP Doesn't have gargoyles, i suspect, they are still allowed. I must inform you, that this RP will have several different features that may, or may not upset several people. There is an element of Death here, your characters can die, gruesome deaths (Within MLPForums Rules.). But moving onwards. The rules are simple.

 

1.) Godmodders, are forbidden. This an RP forum, not [information Voided] Centeral.

2.) This is not an RPG, you don't need to keep track of items and cash, you can, but you don't need to.

3.) Make your posts grammatically correct, it's pedestrian to make a mistake, I know, but try not to.

4.) There is only two ways to move forwards in the plot line, you cannot make your own, unless you ask first, then maybe. Depending on how well it can go.

 

That's it for the rules. Now, onto the method of joining.

 

First of all, i should mention, there is clothing. So you can be dressed, but i highly doubt anyone will do that.

Yes, just Four things. Your making them, that's all i need to know really. You're probably going to get in, but, if your character is too able... Well they may be rejected.

 

There is no needed Congruency of posts, just try to post at least once every 2-3 days. Also, I don't get christmas off work, so if i go missing. I promise on my honor as a Brony (Pretty big promise.) That i will get back ASAP. I also apologize in advance to if that may happen.

Race: Earth Pony

 

Appearance: A tall, shaggy character, a set of tattered rags and a light, mis-match set of hairs covering his chin give him the appearance of a scavenging hobo. His hair is thick, seemingly moist and black from the grease spitting from the lower city pipe lines. That he seems so attached to, he is missing several teeth, his others seemingly covered with the grease from the pipes, and his self preformed skin graft from his back to his neck has left him with quiet a large scar in both locations. He has badly grafted and non-functional bionics, such as an intergrated tool set that fails to do anything more than itch. The voice remodulator produces a light lump shape in the side of his throat, also giving his voice a creepy robotic creakyness to it.

 

Abilities: Adding to his scummy look is his scummy ability to weasle out of nearly anything, he has several technical pieces of kit and knows well enough how to remove a door's code panel and force it to open. Also adding in his favour is his knack for 'finding' shiny and at most times worthless and useless objects. Though this works against him with his oddly truthful psyche, and his tendency to blurt out several things he knows when under anxiety.

Appearance:Dark Blue coat and Neon blue mane with purple stripes. (vinyl style man and rainbow dash style tail of the same color)

Abilities:like other pegasi, she can control weather, but at night, she turns into a blood thirsty bat pony

Neo means "New" Essentially he's a next generation changeling. I.e. not born into the hive, they share some traits with ponies such as having mane and a greater amount of individualism.

His cutie mark is a round shield with a star at the centre.

His head has a small line around his horn representing a scar.(He tried to cut off his horn at one point)

Abilities: 

He is a crafter of sorts,

He uses his magic along with the materials around him to form contructs both simple and complex in design.

though he mainly uses to fashion clothing...

Abilities: He is very deceiving, And highly trained in the knowledge of curses and enchantments. For him to fit in to this RP better he is also good with tech, Like building stuff for example.

His voice is a disparaging rasp, that fits well with his physical appearance. His eyes are closer to pinpoints of azure light. His teeth are viscously pointed, his horn curved inward, turning from black to scarlet towards the tip. When using magic, purple mist glides from his eye sockets, which become suddenly filled with green, with scarlet irises, and near-pointed pupils. His horn will glow with classic dark magic, as his body will suddenly exude black mist (much akin to smoke). He has a bad cough, that spoils his otherwise considerable stealth skills. His phylactery, which allows him to remain in the world of the living (as well as increased magical prowess), is inside his robe, well hidden, sewn into the inside of some of the folds. It looks like a partially corroded silver coin, which he got from betraying his brother for a quick getaway.

Abilities: Undead Creation (Zombie/Skeleton Ponies, occasional Ghoul. With the proper preparation, other liches or even vamponies), Illumination Magic, Basic Levitation, Conditional Teleportation (if under stress, like in a fight, or not enough magic reserves, he can't use this spell), Soul Phylactery (as long as it remains, he cannot die. His soul will simply attempt to take over somepony who picks it up, clashing wills. If he wins, the body will warp to resemble his, and he'll then live again. If not, he'll dwell within their mind.)

Although I said I'd accept nearly anything, this one is just a little bit too Sombra-ish and slightly too able. So, even though, honestly I'd love to have you on board, I have to turn you away, But feel free to put another in, I'd like to see you write something other than that or around four sentences. Because, I think you're pretty good at writing.

 

Also, just a quick thing, to everyone. Have you never heard of the double return writing function? You hit enter twice, and boom you have a much neater paragraph.

 

So yeah, , Your character is a bit too powerful. Besides, the dead in the undercities number near millions every week. I doubt he'd find much trouble amassing a corpse army. So necromancy is kind of out of the picture here. Constructs on the other hand, (Hoof) they take much more time to make. Which also gives this whole thing its essence.

 

So do re-apply but try and keep it down a few notches.
