A woman sighed as she looked over a chart on her tablet through a pair of glasses. She wore a standard business attire and her hair was tied in a braid. She was in a car that was parked near a neighbor hood. "Interesting, looks like a Mr.Mikaele will be receiving quite a few new residents to his home. I should probably go make sure that everything transitions smoothely." She thought.

 

Gale sighed as she sat in the back of the truck that was be transporting her to her new home. To be quite honest, she was a bit nervous. Every possible thing that could go wrong was rushing through her head. "How far is this place." She thought to herself.

"Come on everyone. We have to make this place look presentable to the guests who will be staying for the foreseeable future. Rooms cleaned, food prepared and general organisation is vital to a good first impression. I'll make sure that everyone gains good compensation for the extra hard work you put in today." Mikaele addressed the few but loyal servants that worked within his Manor. "Please keep in mind that our guests are not human and may not be familiar with things we consider to be common sense. Remember that, we do not want to offend them." He looked at the watch on his wrist and noticed the time. "Ahh it's almost time that they arrived. I must be ready to great them." Mikaele took his cane and wore a top hat as he stood in the in the front yard, waiting for his guests to arrive.

Kybui sighed as she walked through the forest near Mikaele's mansion. She didn't know why she had been chosen to basically represent her entire species, but the kitsune figured that it would be a good experience. She then noticed a human standing outside a large home and tilted her head. "I guess he's the person I'm supposed to stay with." Kyubi then shifted into her human form, before approaching Mikaele.

Turning to the noise of approaching footsteps coming from the forest, Mikaele saw what he presumed to be a Kitsune. A fox with an ability to shape shift into a human. Mostly. "Hello. You must be one of the guests that will be staying here correct? Please to meet you. My name is Mikaele. I am the owner of this Manor and your host. May I ask your name Miss?" He stretched his arm out to the Kitsune offering her a handshake.

Ash flew in with a great flap of his striking blue wings. The bird flew up in the highest point of the room of the manor to stay away from the others before changing into his human form, Still keeping high above the others. He watched on the Kitsune and human down below. His displeasure written plainly on his face. Which caused his eyes to become a deep green color and slit themselves further. He narrowed his eyes and watched from above, waiting for the others to follow ensuite.

Sappy was flying through the air. He had a basket with some wine, that he was going to gift his generous host. He landed outside his mansion, and adjusted his suit, making sure that he looked presentable. When he was satisfied he aproached the main door, and waited for his host and a fellow non-human to finish their formal exchange. He then walked up to them, and tipped his hat "Greetings sir, my name is Sappy Lappy and i was informed that you where going to be my host" Said Sappy. He gave him his basket with wine "I have brought a traditional wine as a thanks for your generousity"

Flux glided down, until she saw a house, and muttered to herself I believe this is the correct house, oh my, there's so many creatures here already, this will be fun... I hope they don't mind my creations... . As she swooped down, and landed gently, trying not to accidentally thunderclap and scare everyone away. Flux turned into her human form, and took a deep breath and walked up to the man, who looked like he owned the place.

Umm, hello, My name is Flux Silver-Stream, you can call me Flux if you want. I-I'm here to represent the species of thunderbirds and I am sure this is the right home . She quickly remembered a human is supposed to properly shake hands upon meeting, and held up her hand, offering a handshake...

A car stopped at the front of Mikaele's mansion and a woman stepped out of it. "Well, looks like everything's going well. Your last resident should be here shortly." She said.

 

The truck carrying Gale came to a stop and it didn't take long for the dragoness to find her way to where the other monsters and humans were. To be quite honest, she wasn't expecting to see another dragon. "Hi. My name is Gale.'' She said, slightly nervous.

Kyubi gave a slight smile and nodded. "It's nice to meet you, Mikaele.You can call me Kyubi." She said, before shaking the man's hand. The kitsune then glanced at the new human. "She's probably from that organization that set all of this up." She thought to herself.

Ash was pleased to see there was a dragon present, however, he made sure to steer clear of most of the other creatures. With a sight nod h began to explore the home, he didn't touch the ground until he came to hallways, he needed to find a space to call him own, while everyone else was introducing themselves, he would have the first pick of rooms.

"Well it's nice to meet you. I hope we can get along just fine."

 

 

"My, you shouldn't have. Your generosity is very much accepted. Pleased to meet you Sappy, you may call me Mikaele." He tipped his own hat back at Sappy.

 

 

Mikaele gladly took the offer for a handshake with a smile. "Yes you have found the right place. I'm your host Mikaele and this is the place you will be staying during your trip. Once we are inside feel free to make yourself at home."

"And it looks like another guest has found the way here safely. I'm Mikaele, Lord of the manor and your host. Pleasure to meet you Gale. That makes 5 out of 5 guests present. With only 4 introducing themselves. And one taking it upon himself to just wonder inside. No matter, problems are sorted with time. Now them no loitering, please do come inside."

 

Mikaele opened the front door to his home revealing a rather long but wide corridor with many room going off it left and right. "Please come to the very end of the corridor trough the double doors. That is the living area. If you would be so kind as to wait for me in that room. I have something I must do first." With his words spoken he took the 2nd door on the right which took him to a side stairwell to the 2nd floor. The bedroom floor.

 

 

"I'd listen if I was you He-Dragon. Certain formalities must be taken on a diplomatic endeavour so as the one you are here for. What have essentially done is enter my home without privilege or consent. A crime here. So the smart thing for you to do would be to come out where I can see you. Everyone else has had the manners to introduce themselves, I expect that much from you too."

Ash huffed and glared at his host. "Don't call me something I'm not. I am a Phoenix, and you can call me Ashen Firewing." Ash made quick work of shaking his host's hand and followed the others as he was instructed, The air of displeasure around him was suffocating, and he made sure to stay away from everyone else. He picked a corner of the room and watched the others carefully, evaluating just how hard it would be to live here.

'Well sorry for making a mistake you awkward brute. Maybe if you didn't rush past me without allowing me to get a good glance we wouldn't of had this misunderstanding now would we? You didn't have to agree to come here you know. Well 4 out of 5 of them being respectable and polite isn't that bad. Now I'm rambling to myself in the head. Business first, then thinking.'

 

Done with his internal monologue, Mikaele called over one of his Butlers, "Sebastian, would do me a favour and serve some tea to our guests in the main room while they wait? I shall be down with them shortly, I must make a phone call first."

 

Seb: "I shall see to it at once."

Moments later Sebastian emerged from the dinning room adjacent to the living area with a tray holding 5 cups of tea. "Master Mikaele is sorry for making you all wait in here. He had to make an important call, he should not be too much longer I hope. If their is anything you need, one of us servants will be happy to help."

That's alright Flux said happily. She looked around at the other creatures, and took account of everyone Hmm... There is two dragons, a Phoenix, a kitsune... This will be so much fun... Flux quickly shook her head, and opened her belt, and took out a unfinished device and and small screwdriver and started to loosen a screw. As the screw came out, she pulled out another unfinished object, and put them together, screwing it back in place. She pushed the button on it and slowly started to spin. Flux quietly said to herself Ok, the Systematic Support Gyrator Device works, it spins quite slow, but it's quite strong. This might come in handy later...

 

She glanced at the others, hoping they didn't get suspicious of her creations, she noticed the phoenix was looking a bit glum, and stood up and introduced herself...

 

 

Umm hi. I'm Flux. Who are you?

She quickly thought Crude. I'm making a fool of myself... I hope he doesn't hate me. Flux took a deep breath and smiled.

Ash folded his arms and turned his head away from what he could sense was another elemental birds. He pushed his wings out as he made an attempt to shoo her. He wanted as little interaction as possible, especially if that creature's abilities could be a deadly threat.

Kyubi smiled lightly and happily accepted her cup of tea. "Thank you. I don't think I'll need anything at the moment." She said, before giving a light smile. The kitsune then looked around and studied the home. She didn't know why humans were always in buildings, seeing as how she was basically raised in a forest, but she figured it was more or less like a den.

Gale shrugged as she entered the house and tried her best to not knock anything over just from her size. The dragoness then glanced at the butler and shook her head. "No thanks. I don't think I would be able to hold the cup." She said, blushing internally. She then glanced at Ash and tilted her head at the way he acted.

 

The woman entered the room Mikaele was in and gave a light smile. "Sorry about sending all of them at once. It seems like most of them are get along just fine." She said.

Ash shook his head as he denied the tea and gave a slight nod to the dragoness to show his respect. But he then took yet another scan across the room, it would appear that he is bringing more attention to himself than he originally planned. It angered him to recieve this much attention and not understand why.

Mikaele was just finishing his call when the women entered his room. Looking a little displeased. "Ah, you have no need to apologies for that. In fact this is more optimal. I get to know them all for roughly the same time. I do hope they get along fine. But that phoenix is going to be trouble, I can tell already. Oh, sorry. I'm rambling too much I didn't even ask for your name Ma'am. What should I call you?"

The woman smiled lightly and nodded. "Yes, hopefully the rough edges can be smoothed out." She said. "As for who I am, my name is Edolas. I work for the people making all of this possible."

 

 

Gale was still curious about the Phoenix, so she decided to do something about it. "So, what washout life like before all of this?" She asked.

Ash Usually didn't talk to others, but he didn't mind so much if it was a dragon.

 

"I was just existing. Never had much to do or anything around me." He shrugged and Looked back at the dragon. "I assume your life was at the very least a bit more colorful?" He gave her a grin and looked to the door the host had disappeared into. "I don't think I'll  be staying here much longer though."

Gale blushed lightly and thought for a moment. "Aside from hunting and learning what I needed to from my parents, I didn't really have that much time to spend with friends." She said. "You should at least give it a chance." The look Gale gaze Ash would best be described as pleading. She didn't want to see the Phoenix get in trouble or hurt because he decided to leave.

He smiled and reached to pat her head. "I'll have to see. If anything, I don't think it'll be me who decides to leave." He frowned. "Our host an I are not going to get along. I can already tell you that much. But as far as friends go, I don't think it's worth it. You can't trust anyone."

"Well it's nice to meet you. Now then, I have to attend to the non-humans. Explain in brief what the goal of this operation is in full. Well, to what I know at least. Hate to break our chat short. We'll talk again some other time."

 

Mikaele finally made his way into the living area all the non-humans are in. Taking one of the stand along chairs in the centre of the room, Mikaele began to explain what he knew of the situation.

"May I have attention please? Now I'm sure all of you had been briefed on what the goal of the task is in a summary, but incase you have forgotten, let me remind you and maybe add some more details that may have been left off. *clears throat*. As you know that nature of your visit is not merely a social call as nice as that would be. Political instability between Humans and all non-human races called by the common population as monsters is very high and threats of violence and maybe even outright war are not off the table. I do not stand by this of course, I'm throughly against the discrimination between Humans and non-humans but that can't be said for all. By voluntarily allowing yourself to live on the premises of a powerful human will for each of your individual species that we can co-exist and power doesn't mean we will abuse it for our benefit at the expense of others. And for my allowing you to stay shows that I trust that the Non-humans mean my home, servants and I no harm. In layman's terms you could this a trust building exercise. Once the population realises that wishing non-humans dead or vanished purely on the basis of their species is not a valid argument and political stability is established, our task will be successful. Now not to say we will be all business and formal while we spend time together. Far from it, that would be boring. I plan to make this time both enjoyable and educational to all of us. Don't worry, there will no standardised testing involved. Now the first few days may be rough, getting adjusted to living together may have issues. But follow basic rules and we should no problems; Don't destroy the house, don't kill each other, manners I find to be important, but that's just me being picky and please be mindful of each other, don't intentionally try and aggravate one another. These along side the rules that have been set by the government should be followed. One nice little bit of trivia for you. My property is very large, containing not just the house but a small chunk of forest north and south, with the west being the servants home and the East is mostly water. If you have any questions now would be the time to ask."

The woman watched the scene before leaving. Everything waa taken care of at this point.

 

 

Gale wasn't expecting Ash to pat her head and she was thankful she was a dragon. If she wasn't, her blush would definitely be visible. "There are some you can trust." She said. "My name is Gale, by the way."

Gale listened to what Mikaele said, but didn't really have any questions.
