Ash looked up at his door and took a deep breath, calming himself down and opened the door a crack so he could see Her. "Nothing important." He put up a grin. "If you really want to know, why don't you ask that Lamia? He seems quite interested in you." Ash couldn't hide the disgust in his voice at the mention of the Lamia, but he quickly shook it off. "I think he needs a bit of a redirection."

Gale sighed slightly and closed her eyes. "To tell you the truth, I'm not really that interested in him." She said. "I mean, dragons and lamias do have similar cultures, but a pairing between the two species never works out." The dragoness then sat down and looked at the ceiling. "I'll talk to him later and see what happens."

Flux sensed something, and told Caleb I'm so sorry, but I must go

She stood right back up, and quickly walked up to her room. Opening the door, she saw the machine was still collecting data, and Tenebris was waiting patiently on her bed. Tenebris meowed and licked one of his paws, and Flux proceeded to look to see if he collected anything. Flux opened the mesh pouch on the side of one of Tenebris's mechanical paw. Nice! Thanks Ten, you got me a few for bolts I needed, I can finally finish my project! Tenebris purred, and snuggled on Flux's lap. Flux petted Tenebris, as he slowly drifted off to sleep. She thought she'd get some sleep too, but was also quite hungry. She set the cat on the bed, and sat on the ground, thinking of what she could make with the now expanded toolset of hers...

 

She hoped Caleb was having a good time at dinner, as she didn't believe she could go back there, and face them all. Her stomach rumbled, as she stared at the scattered pieces of metal lying upon her

Ash nodded and gave a small smile. "You should." He opened his door all the way for her. "I think that you should be careful around him. I don't know his interests in you." He snarled and looked away, now even he was confused, surely the Lamia had done nothing for Ash to expect anything. Maybe it was just that he didn't like snakes.

Gale nodded slightly and an idea soon formed in her head. The dragoness then glanced at Ash and gave a slight smile. "I was wondering... Would you like to go out tomorrow? I'm not sure what we would do, but it would probably be better than sitting around all day doing nothing." She said. To be honest, the dragoness was a bit nervous when she asked the question and wasn't really sure how the Phoenix would take it.

 Caleb watched as the naga left, though he couldn't take any action because it would be rude if he left Flux on her own. So he decided to stay and keep eating until she left or he was done, luckily she got up soon after. He smiled as she left and said "It was great spending time with you!" He then focused on the project at hand. He quickly got out of his chair and so he didn't run into Flux he decided to make a loop through the west hall. As he moved through the halls he came across a few servants but, luckily no one from the embassy so it was fine. That was until he turned into the North hall, there he saw Gale and the phoenix from the dinner talking. He thought about heading but, he realized that if he did it would only look suspicious. So instead he quickly and quietly walk passed them and turned to the east hall. From their he entered his room and quickly picked up the bag he had brought with him. It didn't carry much, just the regular travel supplies, but he added a bit... Extra. A small electric component about the size of the quarter. It was originally part of a spybot made for kids but, he had taken one of the parts and made it so that it would record sound and automatically relay it to his computer. Though that was still coming with some other things he wanted to protect his friends and this was the only thing he knew to defend against someone who could possibly use hypnosis and hey if he really didn't mean harm it would be easy to remove. Now all he needed was a way to plant it.

Ash was a bit taken aback by the question. "we aren't allowed to leave unsupervised..." He looked up at the ceiling. "Besides, a dragon doesn't need to spend time with a phoenix, even if that phoenix is of royal blood." He grinned and looked back down at her. "If you can find a way out of hre safely, I'll go with you."

Gale nodded slightly and smiled. "well, Mikele said the forest around here was his property. We can sneak out and be gone practically all day. We can explore or do just about anything." She whispered. Of course, there was still a risk of getting caught, but they wouldn't get in to much trouble if they stayed in the woods.

Ash smiled and nodded. "Alright then." He started to to shut his door, glancing about to make sure no-one else heard of their plan. "I need to stretch my wings anyway." He looked back down at the dragon, before The time struck his mind. "You need to return to you room and eat." He Ushered her out with his wings.

Gale nodded slightly and gently nuzzled Ash's side. "Thanks." She said, before heading back to her own room. The dragoness then stared at the plate of food and knew that Vlad had brought it up here based on it's scent. She then heard her stomach groan and while she didn't want to accept the lamia's gift, she didn't really have any other choice. The dragoness then slowly began to eat the meal and found that it was quite delicious.

As the others began to leave, Kyubi gave a slight grown as she finished her dinner. "At the very least they could clean up after themselves." She thought as she began to pick up the plates of everyone go had left and took them to the kitchen in order to be washed.

As Vladimir made his way downstairs, he noticed Caleb in his room and was slightly curious as to what he was doing. "Well, it seems like I'll have to watch him." He thought, before he remembered that he needed to unpack his bag. As he renters his room, he saw Gake eating the food he brought up and the expression on her face gave all he needed to know. "Well, I'm glad you enjoy it."

Gale jumped at the sound of Vladimir's voice and turned to look at the lamia. If he had seen her, then she couldn't lie and say she only ate it out of hunger. "Yeah. Thanks for getting me something to eat." She said, before walking towards the window next to her bed. "You didn't have to do that, though."

Flux jumped when she heard a knock on the door, and quickly scooped up all the pieces and threw them into her bag and opened the door, wondering who it was. She realized the figure, but the door was already open, so she couldn't just close it.

 

Hi-hi. Wh-what are y-you doing here?

Flux asked, quite surprised, and a tad bit scared...

Flux remembered their promise, and replied with I di-did forget. I didn't follow you here. I was as surprised as you were. Really, I didn't, I want to be friends, but I'm also really sorry about the incident.

Kyubi had already moved off to the kitchen before Mikaele could protest, and he let out a little sigh. "Honestly, I know she's just trying to be a nice guest guest but she really doesn't need to concern herself with things like this. I guess the least I can do is thank her."

 

When Mika entered the Kitchen, he saw Kyubi carrying the large pile of plates, so he took some of them off of the top of her pile. "Hey, thanks for helping out with the cleaning up. While you have no obligations to do so, I am grateful for your help."

Flux got more and more scared, hoping what she thought wasn't happening. Flux quietly sighed and whispered I'm sorry... I really am... She remembered that at the time, she wasn't herself, that something happened to really sadden her, and her "other" side came out. Still, Flux doubted Ash would understand... No one does...

Vladimir smirked and gave slight shrug. "Most people would thank the one who brought them dinner in bed. I mean really. Did you honestly expect me to let you go hungry? I don't think so, my dear." He said, even though he was technically the reason the dragoness took an early nap. "Anyway, I'm simply here to unpack my things, so don't worry your pretty little head." With that, the lamia put his bag on the bed he would be sleeping in and began to unpack everything he brought with him, which mainly consisted of a few shirts, books, toiletries, and a purple geode. He set the rock and books on his bedside table while he put the clothes back in his bag.

Kyubi smiled gently and shrugged. "It's nothing I'm not used to, really. I helped raise my siblings, so I'm used to helping around the house." She said. The kitsune couldn't help but blush slightly at the compliment, though.

Flux blushed even more at the title "princess", she disliked being called things like that, but she honestly didn't care, that much, and replied...

O-ok, pl-please don't call me that. I am not sure how I got here actually. Some people were recruiting different spices for a embassy program, so I decided to sign up. How about you?

"My parents made me sign up for this. I think they were tired of me." He looked down at her. "Why didn't you stay home, Princess. It is safer for a Non-Human like you. We can't trust humans, no matter how much we want to. They will never accept us for what we are. Humans are afraid of the unknown."

"You took care of your family? I know how that feels. It gets annoying sometimes." Setting the dishes down on one of the sideboards, Mika rolled up his sleeves and looked at the sink. "Well these aren't going to wash themselves anytime soon. May as well get it over with." He started running the hot water in the sink, added some washing liquid and waited. "If you don't mind me asking, what is your homeland like? I've never had the opportunity to visit."
