Nah.  The idea of people forming a strong fandom for something not strictly made for them, even made for people who really aren't them age and gender-wise, was appealing from the start.  Love what you love.  And when I heard about it, it was always coupled with "We'll love and tolerate the sh*t outta you" which was funny but also, fantastically, sincere for the most part and that seemed to register quickly.  Plus it's ponies...how can you be anti-ponies, especially little, cute ones.

When I first found out that adults watched My Little Pony I just thought it was really weird and kept asking myself why. I had been seeing MLP related stuff all over the internet at the time and how people seemed sincerely devoted to it, but never imagined myself actually watching show... until my curiosity got the best of me. And how the tables have turned.  :toldya:

i used to be really anti-brony, but only because a) i was only shown the negative sides to the fandom (which is fair enough, but it is easy to avoid if you stay off any sites that allow nsfw) and B) i didnt understand how enjoyable mlp could be for all ages! ive liked the franchise for a while now but its only since I've joined the forum that I'm active in the fandom. So far it's been absolutely wonderful!

Admittedly at first I thought MLP could never be good, but I didn't hate people who liked it. It's not my business to tell people what they can and cannot enjoy; even before being into MLP I liked W.I.T.C.H., so yeah.
