In a land far, far away, lies the Kingdom of Fiore, a small peaceful nation of 17 million, and a place filled with magic! Found in every home, bought and sold in every marketplace, for most, magic is merely a tool, a mundane part of everyday life. For some, however, magic is an art, and they have devoted their lives to its practice. These are the mages. Banded together into magical guilds they apply their skills in search of fame and fortune. Many such guilds dot the landscape of Fiore and there are some that take a darker path than others.

At one such guild, located in one of the largest cities in Fiore, it was business as usual. Members looking for jobs, eating, drinking, and brawling. Of course, the last bit wasn't occurring at the moment, but it only needed one good hit to start the fire.

 

While there are those who seek to join a guild, there are those who have yet to find their own place in the game of life. A man walked along the streets of Haregon. It was obvious by the way he moved and looked around that he was unfamiliar with the city, yet he was also looking for something.

Silver sighed as he twirled a fork in his hand. He had just gotten back from a job to track down a lost dog and while it paid well, it wasn't really that hard to pull off. To him, the guild was more or less a giant school. People formed their own little groups, made friends, learned from each other, and fought. "Maybe I should form my own group. It may make things more interesting around here." He thought, before scanning the guild hall for possible teammates.

Kyubi smiled as she walked around the port city of Haregon. She had heard that a powerful wizard would be in the area and that he was a dragon slayer like her. "I wonder what he's like." She thought to herself.

Esal was currently stuffing his face with food. He was hungry after a long mission. He had to protect a train from a group of bandits who had stopped 3 trains in the past. The bandits themselves where not that impressive though. It was just that they had a bit more magic then others. Esal saw only one man who was a decent match but, he used fire so even that didn't last long. At least the pay was enough to cover Esal's expenses for the month so the next few jobs would be pure profit. The oonly problem was that the train food was overpriced and mediocre at best so he hadn't eaten anything sense early this morning and now he was starving. So naturally he had ordered 5 plates of food and he was currently finishing  his 5th, a steak with a side of mash potatoes. Food and jobs aside today (after he was done with his food of course) was going to be the day he would at least attempt to find partners for a team but, who?

In the distance, Kyubi could see a crowd of people gathering and they seemed to be looking at something. A few of them were also muttering about a lightning dragon and muttering about a powerful mage.

 

Blitz had noticed the group near Kybui and was interested in it to say the least. "Could they be talking about her?" He thought to himself, before moving around the group to get a better.

Silver noticed a strong looking mage and was slightly interested. He seemed to be wearing armor, so that at least gave an indication that he used re-equip magic. "Might as well see where this goes." He thought, before standing and walking towards the mage.

Kybui noticed the growing crowd and tried her best to move through it. "This has to be the mage I was hearing about." She thought to herself. The dragon slayer then accidentally bumped into a man a bit taller then her and looked at him. "Oh, sorry about that."

Blitz glanced at the girl and noticed a strange scent on her, but didn't really pay any mind to it. "It's ok. I should've been paying attention." He said. "I'll be right back." The man then began to make his way through the crowd and what he saw disappointed him immensely. It was a simple man wearing fancy clothes boasting about what he could do with magic. "You aren't Edolas." He said, turning the crowds attention to him.

 

The man turned to look at Blitz and simply laughed. "No, No I am not." He said. "I am the lightning dragon slayer, Blitz Ryu." He said, not really knowing who he was talking to. The man then noticed Kyubi and gave a low smirk. "I'll be hosting a party tonight. Maybe you and your friend could come."

Esal looked at the guy coming towards him. He obviously wanted something from the way he deliberately walked toward Esal. So Esal quickly swallowed his mouthful of food and as the guy approached said in a bit of annoyed tone. "What do you want mr. uhhhh? " He trailed off trying to remember the guys name, you'd think that after living in the guild so long that he would remember everyone's names but, sometimes a new member or a reclusive one would always mess him up. It didn't help that this was the biggest guild in Magnolia.

Kybui smiled slightly and was amazed that she had managed to find the mage she was looking for. "Oh, I've heard so much about to. I'll take you up on that offer, though I'm not really his friend." She said, smiling lightly.

Silver shrugged slightly and didn't really expect the man to know who he was. "I'm Silver." He said, not really comfortable with giving his name. "I was actually thinking about forming a team. Any suggestions?"

Esal on the outside seemed to react only a bit on the outside but, on the inside he was excited. "Well I've been looking for people to put on my team for a bit now and your looking for one so I guess." He used his requip magic to bring his sword to his hand "We could team up?" He asked confidently but, before he could here Silver's answer a girl came from behind and... Flirted with him? Esal was confused, hurt and a bit intrigued by the fact that some random girl had come out of nowhere to flirt with this Silver guy.

Blitz glared at the man for a moment, before shrugging. "Sorry, but I'm not a fan of pretty boys like you." He said, before a few of the females in the group began to mercilessly beat him on the head. The man wasn't really expecting that and quickly made his away from his attackers. "I'll have to keep an eye on him." He thought, before returning to Kyubi's side. "Sorry about leaving. Do you...want something to eat or something? It's not a date. Just as friends, I guess."

Silver wasn't really expecting Wolf to come up and flirt with him, and took a second to respond. "Umm, hi." He said, before turning his attention back to Esal. "Yeah, that could work. I use ice magic, by the way." The Mage then turned his attention back to Wolf. "So, are you looking for a team to? I'm Silver by the way."

Kyubi was about to reply when she heard her stomach growl. "Yeah, that sounds good. I know a good restaurant nearby. Come on." She said, before grabbing Blitz's arm and pulling him along the street. "My name is Kyubi, by the way.

Blitz wasn't expecting Kyubi to react in such a way and nearly lost his footing. "It's nice to meet you, Kyubi. By the way, despite what that other guy said, I'm Blitz." He said, before following Kyubi. "So, what brings you here anyway?" Despite her openness with him, the dragon slayer was a bit wary of Kyubi.

Silver nodded slightly and thought for a moment. He knew a few powerful holder mages, so Wolf could potentially be a strong ally. "I would ask him, but I can definitely see this working.What keys do you have?" He asked, slightly curious. He also motioned to Esal as he spoke.

Kyubi's eyes widened and she was amazed to say the least. "I was... I was looking for you. I heard about a strong dragon slayer and I wanted to meet you. I'm a sky dragon slayer, so I figured you could help." She said.

Esal wasn't very impressed by the set of keys but, apparently they could summon spirits so they could potentially have a lot of power, and in the way it was a lot similar to his magic but, his wasn't from some random world and he didn't need a key to summon his. "Obviously alone I can use requip magic. My sword though can use fire magic and can absorb/use the fire magic of others in an attack." He then sent the weapon once again to it's storage and added "So that means we have a fire mage an Ice mage and a summoner. Pretty even team if you ask me." Esal said with confidence.

Blitz glanced at Kyubi as he ate and shook his head. "I'm assuming your looking for your dragon. Sorry, but I can't help you there." He said. "I haven't seen any dragons since mine disappeared." The Lightning dragon slayer then glanced at his bandaged arm and sighed. "So, do you still plan on going to that guy's party?"

Kyubi sighed and looked at the table. She knew what the answer would be, but she still hoped that it would be different for Blitz for some reason. "No, I don't think I will." She said. "I figured I might as well join that strong guild in Magnolia that everyone seems to be talking about." An idea then popped in the sky dragon slayer's head and she looked at the man in front of her. "You should join to. I'm sure you would fit right in."

Silver gave a slight nod and could feel the slight tension in the air. "It also sounds powerful as well." He said. "I feel like the best course of action right now would be to find out how well we work with each other. We should take a job." The Mage didn't really know what they could do, but figured that that would be a good test of their combined strength.

A young girl walked along the pathways of Fiore. She was dressed in a baby blue mini dress and a beige jacket. On her feet were black converse. On her right shoulder was a guild mark representing the Blue Pegasus guild. She smiled, in sight of adventure.

Esal was kind of surprised by Wolf's reaction. "Well if your exited to get a job then lets take a quick look at the job board." Luckily it wasn't too far a way and even though Esal just got off one quest it never hurt to do another. Plus this one didn't have to be anything huge. Esal marched right up to it and began to look through the quest not noticing that Wolf had got distracted and pulled a interesting one off of the board. It was about a mysterious set of disappearances. Not an average crime but, good for a first job. "Hey guys I got a good one we could try out." He said looking over his shoulder to his new team mates.

Olivia noticed him and rolled her eyes. Might as well get this over with. She walked across the room until they were eye-to-eye. "Is there something you want? Or are you just a giant creep?" She askd searching the room for any excuse to leave. Olivia needed money and she needed it bad. She needed to find a job & needed to find one now.

Blitz shrugged for a moment and sighed. "I guess." He said. To be honest, the lightning dragon slayer wasn't comfortable around those he didn't know, but he felt like he could trust Kyubi. There was also the added benefit of not having to live off the land and possibly having better odds at finding his dragon. "I'm a bit curious about life in a guild anyway."

Silver glanced at the in Esal had and nodded. "Yeah, that'll work." He said, giving a slight smirk before glancing at Olivia. "Aren't you from Blue Pegesus. What brings you to our little guild?"

 

Kyubi smiled slightly and nodded. She then remembered something and tilted her head. "I think this is the place where all the recent disappearances have been occurring. We should take care of that and we'll get into Fairy Tail for sure."

Takao sighed, and he leaned back into the grass. Why am I still here? What am I going to do... The blood wizard stared at the sky. Located on a hill near the town of Magnolia, he laid wondering what his next move was. An outcast from his original guild (Sabertooth) he decided to head out and search for a new adventure, maybe to start his own guild!

But the idea became a memory, as he realized how his people skills were still... Undeveloped... Many mages he encountered were in awe of his power, but shocked when he stared at some weapon or mumbled something that happened in the past. Who is Takao? Takao Kurosawa is none other than the underworld's most hidden celebrity: The Killer. So, he had troubles getting members; meaning no guild for him to be master of.

Now, with no guild to go back to, he then thought about joining the other he heard about; Fairy Tail. Recognized as the greatest guild in all of Fiore, it would be an honour to join such a guild as that. But, it also was growing far TOO popular, making it a social bustle of people. This was one reason why he didn't join eariler, but that might have been his mistake as well...

So, he concluded, he'd wait for a sign to lead him to the right direction of what to do, whether it be a wanderer or to join Fairy Tail, or even to become a family man... Oh, I don't know! He cried in his thoughts, finally learning to contain them in his mind.

Silver glanced at the in Esal had and nodded. "Yeah, that'll work." He said, giving a slight smirk before glancing at Olivia. "Aren't you from Blue Pegesus. What brings you to our little guild?"

Kyubi smiled slightly and nodded. She then remembered something and tilted her head. "I think this is the place where all the recent disappearances have been occurring. We should take care of that and we'll get into Fairy Tail for sure."

"Oh. Just looking for someone. Anyone really..." Olivia smiled. "Now do tell, what is your purpose in being here? Are you a member?" Olivia put her hand on her hip awaiting an answer. She really needed some sort of adventure. She needed to get out. All Olivia had been doing these last few weeks was just sitting around at the guild.

Killer was starting to consider moving on... He realized how happy he'd be if he did. No more reminders of his dad, no more hardships, no more people to worry about... But, a tap on the shoulder quickly awoke him from his dreamworld of happiness, and he saw fright in the man's eyes.

"Help us! You look like a wizard... We need someone right now!" The man panicked, and was looking back in fear.

"Hmm... What if I don't want to?" Killer joked, knowing full well he will.

This is when he realized that he was wrong. Ignoring problems will not make them go away, they will only grow, and become more ugly, so he needs to own up and face the challenges ahead in life with his signature creepy, sharp teeth smile.

With that thought, he grinned, horrifying the man even more. "Um... Please sir... My family is being held by a maniac, and..."

Killer laugh insanely, than gave a wild eye look. "Well, my friend, I must see how maniacal this man is... Show me."

The man nodded, and with that, they ran towards a ruckus of noise not too far away, in a more secluded part of town...

I hope this man brought an extra pair of pants... Cause I have been known to scare... Killer thought with a snicker.

Blitz nodded slightly and smiled. "Sure. I could go for a bit of target practice anyway." He said. The dragon slayer then stood slightly and looked around the area, making sure that they weren't being watched. "So, what was your dragon like, anyway? Edolas was basically like a mother to me, so I assume that most other dragons were like that."
