According to what Travelture said, it's about a two-day journey to the village. I think it'd be pretty interesting if they had to spend at least one night out in the open wasteland. They'd need at least one pony to keep watch, and perhaps fight off some creatures while they're at it.

Alright, well... I've a few things to say, and sorry if I go ramble-y here, but I think this needs to be said.

 

I don't know the first thing about vampire ponies, so when vampire ponies say "I've got blood that cures diseases!" I just take it at their word. But the reason I made Foray turn her down (other than it does fit in her character to not want to drink blood) is because it's too easy. It's way too convenient and solves the problem instantly. Her flu is meant to be an obstacle to overcome, but if they overcome it instantly it's not that much of an obstacle.

 

Just think about it this way. If I didn't want her to be sick, I wouldn't have made her sick in the first place. It's something the other ponies never would've expected, and would have to improvise and cope with, which builds character.

 

So yeah, next time there's a problem, I'd recommend her offering to help, but not offering to instantly fix the problem. That negates the need for the problem.

I know that mate this is the current drama, but Summer doesn't know that, she is hooves on the ground she knows she can sure Foray and is confused why she can't accept the gift remember (i dont want to insult your intelligence) but our OC's don't know these things their In character remember.

While I'm sure your point about them not knowing each other well enough to cope is true, Foray already turned down her request at least twice. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if someone turns down something twice, it's polite to quit asking and just drop the whle subject...
