I have recently been trying my hand at art again. I think I'm getting better at doing basic pony structure, without having to look up a million references. 

Here's little Celestia with a butterfly:

 

I like this one so much I might even clean it up and color it later.

Something you should work on is using layers, I can see that based on all the scraps of lines that are left. The front legs appear t be a tiny bit short as well ^^

Not bad for not using references (unless you meant you didn't use that many references this time? I'm not sure...)

The front legs seem to bend a little unusually, but legs are pretty hard to draw anyways. Otherwise, good job.
