Since this thread is tagged as planning, I wanted throw a few suggestions, how about we all started as a filly growing up in an orphan house. Then the Watchdogs ruined everything, kidnap and we all got separated. It's only for a few posts so the OCs can talk bout it when they're all together again.

 

Figured it'll fit that title, restoration of our time.

You may join if you can learn to use commas properly, It's hard to understand what you mean sometimes. I don't mean to du be rude, but good writing is very important.

They'll have to be modified a bit, since this takes place over a 1000 years after FiM, so them hanging out with the ponyville gang seems a bit far fetched ^^ But other then that both are accepted

It's a pretty cool idea, but you'll have to ask the others is this is something they want to do as well.

Well English was never my best subject, that would be history. We all don't have perfect English, like yesterday I was having a little problem reading the rp backstory, the commas in that were off as well.

Yeah, I can imagine since I've never been any master of English either. I was reading through your character profile and I noticed you didn't use capital letters most of the time, no commas and no punctuation in the end of sentences. But whatever, you're accepted. 

 

And just a tip, add some sort of major flaw to your character to make him more believable.

I'd like to join with the twins: Ink & Quill. The link is in my signature (one profile to cover both as they will always be RPed together). I have already discussed this with the one in charge of this roleplay, but now I am officially posting my characters here. They will support the rebellion in a limited capacity, while also distributing an underground newspaper that shows both sides of the conflict, unbiased and uncensored, called "The Twin Truths Gazette," the name being chosen because there's the truth the rebellion is willing to tell you, then there's the truth they don't want you to know. They live in Cloudsdale, which is now a moving base of operations for the rebellion. Their official job is resource gathering. They go out, looking for supplies, bringing what they find back to their flying chariot, which they then fly up to Cloudsdale. Because of their small size, the chariot is too much for one of them once full, so they have to work together. They also collect smaller items in their saddlebags.

@@Wicked Funky Can he be simple minded, or not able to use advance weapons, so he can only do melee in a fight, or is it gonna need to be something more than that, I mean if he used to the wasteland atmosphere, he would have learned how to hit, but since the watchdogs "herded" all the weapons, I doubt he would have found a firearm.

I mean that works, but that's almost like a crippeling flaw though. We can take some already existing charatcers for example here, Applejack is stubborn, Fluttershy is very shy and my OC has a temper. It doesn't have to something so drastical as him not being able to use advanced weapons, maybe he doesn't like them, or maybe he prefers swords and such though.

I think this idea about the orphanage could be a thing you and I do in the beginning of the RP, our OC's could be friends there but then we split off to different factions. How about that?

 

It works since my OC went to an orphanage as a filly.

Great. They both learned engineering. Also, my OC wasn't an orphan, but she often visits that orphanage because of her uncle hanging out around the area, Her uncle, Lambo-Ghinie is part of the Watchdogs which explains why my OC join them.

Okay, so this is a list of some location and their current status. RP will be up soon as well.

 

Canterlot – Canterlot has become the griffins new homestead since their previous home became inhabitable after the earthquakes. It’s a neautral city that relies on it’s trading with travelers, but it’s not a safe place. Canterlot is run by criminals, there’s theives, killers and bountyhunters wherever you turn.

 

Griffonstone – After the earthquakes Griffonstones many factories collapsed, this caused the whole area to be inhabitable due to toxic spills and radiation. The area is now home to multiple mutated beasts.

 

Manehattan – Manehattan is the Watchdogs HQ, it’s hostile against everything except fellow watchdogs. Half the city is in ruins and filled with jungle like plants.

 

Cloudsdale – It’s the home of the rebellion. The clouds have been strengthened  by magic so that other races then just pegasi are able to walk on them. A part of Cloudsdale has been transformed into a hangar of sorts.

 

The Crystal Empire – The empire has become one of the watchdogs most highly valued locations, not only is it their armory but it also contains the last few history books. Not anyone from the watchdogs are allowed to even enter the library though, only the most highly valued scientists/ researchers of theirs.

 

Ponyville – Twilight castle was one of the first monuments to be destroyed in the cleansing of historical artefacts/ monuments. The rest of town has been abandoned since long. There’s a legend about some sort of monster living in the basement of the old destroyed library.

 

The Everfree forest – It has become a place where bandits and bounty hunters come to set camp. Many come there if they’re hiding from something and often end up living there. It’s a very dangerous place.

 

Baltimare - It's partially submerged as the ground sank below the Horseshoe Bay.  Some of the creatures that lived in the Hayseed Swamps have moved into some parts of the city as it's slowly being taken back by the wilderness.  Some rebels decided to live in the drier part of the city, taking shelter in some of the tall buildings that haven't yet collapsed, coming down only to gather supplies. They have a network of cables to go from building to building.

Some reports say there is some type of merpony living in the sunken buildings, but as of yet, nothing has been confirmed. –By Seamore sandwich

 

Starlight Glimmer’s town – Before the earthquake the town had already been abandoned, It was transformed into a military base where they stored bombs and robot parts. The place is filled with hostile robots that will shoot as fast as someone comes to close. The whole town is surrounded by skeletons from ones who got too close. The robots looks like metallic ponies, they have a gun barrel in their mouth. When ready to shoot they root themselves into the ground, opens their mouth and start shooting. They can turn their heads 360 degrees and they are able to self destruct in a violent explosion.

 

The south – It’s a deserted wasteland except for bands of raiders and the occasional farm. It’s filled with steep ravines and craters.

 

Las Pegasus – A neutral city run by gangs. Rebels and watchdogs are not allowed to fight here, if they were to the gangs would shoot them down. “This is our city, the only ones who will be doing any killing around here is us.” Ponies come here to gamble mainly. –By Seamore Sandwich

 

Phillydelphia - The locals don't care much for the rebels, but they're not controlled by the watchdogs either.  Watchdogs and drifters welcome, but not rebels.  Too dangerous to hide them from the watchdogs. They don’t have much but enough to get by. A group of Watchdogs are helping them against orders. –By Seamore Sanwich

 

White tail woods - It's now a jungle, home to the Serpanthera who thrive in their new environment.  Incredibly aggressive when it comes to defending their homes.  None may enter without permission. Anyone who wanders to far won’t come back. –By Seamore Sandwich

 

Railroads – They’re used as landmarks/ roads to be able to find ones way in Equestria.

 

The neighagra falls – Due to the earthquake it’s been drained, and is now a bandit fortress. It’s a very hostile place where they won’t spare anyone if it means they can get even the slightest thing of value.

Looking at this location list, would it be ok if I place 2 OCs around the map as NPCs ready to be interacted with? They stay stagnant there unless somebody interacts with them.

 

I'll list them below:

 

Las Pegasus : Inn Keep ( in sig ). Manages an inn/bar there. His inn is a neutral place, and any pony starting trouble gets thrown out instantly

 

Canterlot: Salleria ( in sig ).griffin Bounty hunter for hire. I understand if you want to tweak her a it, she's rather far fetched compared to Second Sight and Inn Keep

Salleria is a bit trickier though, She'd have a lot more limited gear. And I could allow the four bat wing thing, since Griffonstone is filled with toxic waste and radiation, could she have been effected by that?
