gaming When will PS4 port PS1 and PS2 games?

I was so dissapointed. I went to PS store and bought Crash Bandicoot 1, only to realise it can only be played on PS3 and Vita.

The only one that is out there is FF7, but that is a port of the PC version, i need to remind myself to change the lisp real correct translation as canon called Aerith, to Aeris when i get to that point. If that was changed that is. Don't care how you pronounce it. It was released like that, and i am sticking to it
But its in 4:3 screen size : (.... PS1 is just too good for PS4 sometimes.

But yeah... if they don't happen to release it ever, i might actually just get a PS1 with legit copies. Because i bought PS4 to buy those games legally. So we'll see if the company actually will allow it later on to emulate it on those consoles. I sure hope so :grin2:

I believe it would be a fantastic idea that will give Sony lots and lots of money.

 

 

However, I also believe that Sony and many other companies are too stupid to function when it comes to good ideas like this.

its the lack of backwards compatability that i didn't get a ps4.

 

Its also funny that they are adding backwards compatability when they especifcially stated they where not doing to do that.

 

I'm also pissed they never made Final Fantasy Tactics playable on a ps3. It was an original psone game and yet they make it only playable on their neglected Vita system. >_<

Sony have started emulating and enhancing a few Playstation 2 classics to the Playstation store.They'll do more, which titles they'll emulate and enhance will depend on surveys and requests. I don't know about Playstation 1 classics, i think they'll emulate them later on.
