Emerald Just sat there the pain in her ear would be gone soon enough Angel would witness how powerful her healing powers were, but she'd need to see them to belive it, even as she swapped ears the gashes we becoming smaller, within a few minuets they'd be if nothing had happened.

"The emp is really strong, it could probably shut down everything and everyone in this school. Basically, it's a small weapon if I'm not careful, but I got the hang of it. It was almost all the queens that chased me, except one hive, it was the guards that were chasing me away from the queen. Some that know me really well say that I would run into a battlefield to help an injured critter. All because I ran into a fire without thinking."

"Wait, how the heck is it possible for this to deliver that strong an EMP?  I'm not seeing the storage capacity for that kind of power."

He stopped and pulled out a visor and pressed a button on both of them, then he placed the visor on his head. 

"Seems to be working, I could see a cyborg around the corner, so locator is working."

"So, it gives you X-ray as well? Doesn't over exposure of stuff that like cause cancer or something in organics? No wait, that's only in humans. X-rays only change the color of your fur. But still, someponies are really attached to their coat colors. Or is it just a radar & sonar type of deal?"

"It uses the device's signal to show where creatures are and if they are okay. But I really don't use it. It will make me ill by doing it, but that is after a long period of time. It also shows me where others that I can't see are. Just out of curiosity, How far is the mess hall?

Feeder lifted the visor and said as he got in line,

"Guess I got wrapped up in my device. I'll probably go with a hayburger and fries."

He turned off the visor and the locator. Then he placed the visor in his bag and started going over the data he collected.

"Uhh, whaddawe got today?" Embex said as she approached a terminal. "I guess we can go with chicken & waffles.EXE, with a side of chips.JPG & a lar-no, extra large chocolate milkshake.AVI. Oh and extra butter & Syrup Gifs." She levitated out a tablet and plugged it into the terminal. With one *ping* it was done and she went over to the table where Tomcat & Daffidaisy were. As soon as she set her tablet down. Holographic projects on all that she ordered appeared. "Dudes, make some room, we've got a guest this time."

Feeder got his food then he sat down next to the others. He took off his strap and placed it on the table. Then he pulled out the visor and a sphere with the bottom smoothed out. He switched the strap to show the data in the visor and started looking over the data while eating his fries.

"Studying while eating lunch huh? Oh yeah, you're gonna blend in here just fine."  As Embex sunk her fangs into her waffle & chicken sandwich and tearing a piece out, the jagged pixilated edges showcasing the damage done to the illusory meal in her hooves.

Once he was done with the fries, He said as he grabbed the burger,

"Can ya tell me about your friend with Emerald? How much do ya know about this Shadow Beast? The scan doesn't give me a lot of information on both of them."

"Hay if know.  She's not my friend. She's my friends friend now I guess. A member of the guard. Been here for a few weeks. Apparently she's had some famous exploits with them. Go do a Bing search on her if your so interested.  Wait. You calling her a shadow beast or what?"

No, I meant Shadow Beast, the guard."

He switched it back to the strap. A 3d image of Shadow Beast appeared in a holographic form on a turntable, switching from him on all fours and on his hind legs.

"It just says that he's a hybrid, but it doesn't give any more information, such as place of birth, age, abilities, or anything ya can find on the web. So ya barely met Angel."

"Oh yeah, that asshat hybrid that was trying to pick fights and crash our party. How the hay did he end up on the payroll? Anyways, no don't know, don't care. He needs to lighten up. And yes, we've all know Angel for a few years now. These two longer than I." She pointed to both Tomcat & Daffidaisy, the latter of which was wrapping an ichor soaked cable like tongue around her holo food. "And those moves you saw her do int hat video? Heh, I personally taught her those." She said with a smile and a hoof to her chest.

He took a couple bites of his burger then he switched the strap back to the visor and placed it back on, then he went back to his research.

Papers to finish at the last minute. Texts to skim over. Lectures to sleep through. Fraternity hazings to conduct, and keggar parties to totally black out at. We simply don't have time to waste in pursuing such frivolous tasks."

He sighed and looked at the sphere next to him. He picked it up and said as he tossed it back and forth, 

"Could ya answer me this, are memories that are shared by a lot of creatures personal?"

Some creatures will take those memories into a personal context. Some won't. It'll just be another shared experience. It might as well be just another vid file to them. Unless your talkign about the notion of memories being implanted. Then yeah, those memories woudl be personal, cause the implanted wouldn't know otherwise. What I'm saying is that it all comes down to the individual.. I dunno, what to you guys think?" 

 

Tomcat was blowing bubbles in her own holo-milkshake, while Daffidiasy was coiling her tongue around her beverage.

He stopped tossing the sphere around and said,

"This might sound weird, but in my travels, I found this sphere, it can look into memories, but I only used it once to find out what it does but I haven't used it in a while."

 He placed the sphere on the table and placed the strap around his legs and the visor back into the bag

"If it does as you say, the I recommend you destroy it. Even if you never do anything nefarious with it-" she pointed back to the device, "That won't stop somepony else from doing the same."

He got up and said, 

"Do ya know where my room is? Since I'm new, I don't know the layout of the school and I don't trust my programs since there might be a bug in it."

So A. you're recent and you haven't been added in yet, or two: you're here to sign up for courses, or III. You still haven't taken your admissions yet. And typically if you have a room, you're part of the student roster." She took a sip of her shake.
