Reprise 60 January 21, 2016 Share January 21, 2016 I'm new in town, so to speak and I'm looking to meet people, make friends, and in general, be part of the community. As part of that quest, I'm curious about seeking out ponies that are closer to me in age. I kind of get the impression that I am kind of an old timer around these parts at 33 (with a birthday in a little over a week.) I'm pretty immature for my age, I think, and I kind of pride myself on that. Anyway! Let's hear from those of us who are a little bit advanced in age, so I can get an idea of my peers! Not that I have any problem with the younger sorts, I'm just curious.
Quinch 1,120 January 21, 2016 Share January 21, 2016 And hello from a fellow older - definitely not mature - brony. I'm also in mid-thirties here, and sticking to the principle that, while you're only a child once, you can stay childish forever. 1 Current project: The Olden World audiobook What's to stop you? Reprise 60 January 21, 2016 Author Share January 21, 2016 I'm 24 and married if that makes you feel better? There's no bad feelings to start with. I just wanted to see if I was the only person hovering around in the 'born in the 80's' demographic. I can't very well have old people wheelchair races with no one else to be old with. PiratePony 8,475 January 21, 2016 Share January 21, 2016 I'm 32 and married, with a 4 year old. I also have a master's degree, own a house and juggle home finance plans between watching ponies. Yet, maturity free since '83. There's plenty around...maybe not the majority, but I've seen other 30s year olds. I've even seen a gentlepony in their 60s around here. I've seen a few other parents on here at well. You are not alone, Free Willy. (You'll get the reference and others here will not. Hoofbump). While it is nice to meet folks of all ages, it's nice to know I am not some old aberration clomping around the forums being twice the age of everyone else. Sounds interesting. Have any kids? Nah! I am not the kid-having type. I don't think I would make a very good parent. I can't even keep a cactus alive.

Lexamena 391 January 21, 2016 Share January 21, 2016 Older pegasister here. Probably older than all y'all as I was born PRE-80s. Yes those of us pre 80s are not dead yet although I have no clue on earth where anyone my age exists.

It used feel cool that I was a 70s kid (barely, born in 79) but as I've gotten older, it's like dang I'm old.
