movies/tv Is Zootopia meant for furries? Are the animators furries?

IDK, I mean that's kind of really stretching it I would say.

 

Nah, when I first saw the trailer in theaters the first words that came to mind were "for furries"

The huge thing that sets it apart from, say, Kung Fu Panda 3 or any other film in a universe where every character is an animal, is how the film was presented.

I don't know. It's probably like any other cartoon with talking animals and furries just happen to be a thing. Like, if you think that movie was made for them, then do you think that the MLP movie is being made for bronies? Probably not but you still can speculate that it was.

Nope because there are loads of other animated animal films in fact to many to count besides furries are pretty unknown outside of the internet to be honest so making a film targetting them / for them would be small time business
