technical issue My "about me" disappeared.

My About Me thingy went blank on me after an update. Is there a way to get it back from backups? I added an image and then "POOF" it went blank.

@Sapphire Lightning, did you received the PM from Dark Qiviut, and did it helped you to restore your profile?

 

I believe that what happened was that you closed the About Me editor clicking on the cross, which seems to mess with the About Me and leave a blank space. DQ seemingly gave you already a saved version of your profile, but if you want to do the caché trick yourself, all you have to do is browse the following in your case:

site:mlpforums.com search Sapphire Lightning(or whatever your username may be in the future)

And once you find your profile, click on the tiny arrow that you'll see near the page, and click on "In Cachè", which should look like this:

That will bring you to an older saved version of your profile, where all you will have to do is copy and paste what you see there, and that's it!

The images are still there, it's just that the links got pasted incorrectly. I tried myself, and solving it is easy:

• Use this template:

http://i.imgur.com/(insert thing here)

• After that, you'll notice some texts in your profile that are like "insert something here".jpg, which are the links to the pictures. All you have to do is paste them after the imgur.com template, and your images will be loaded correctly:

I tried with one of them at random just to show that it works, and it indeed does:
