That's one way to do it, but it can be disruptive to the story of their character is say, talking to another RPer in a safe place or something. I vote we stick with 3.

@@crispy fries,@,

Good plan, though I love killing off inactives.

I already have another OC in mind for this and a way to inset him to Manehatten if we want to base there again.

Maybe the griffon takes over as the head of the mafia(what little remains) in Steel's absence.

Salleria hates the mafia.

Let's think of a another artifact to screw the world up with.

Just shooting off random ideas here

> the first opening of the portal caused the gates of Tartarus to weaken. The artifact as a whole must be returned to Tartarus itself, where it is actually a component of a powerful seal to keep it closed.

> the new group is called together by a scientist who noticed the weakened barrier to look for the artifact once again. Part of the artifact is with the changelings and part of the artifact is with Janeri. I'll find some way to tie in Salleria.

@,

But I was given both parts of the artifact, each piece given to a different changeling queen.

It is a good idea though, perhaps Swift never delivered the key and instead kept it with him in his hunt for the griffon?

If the zebra happened to study the changelings as well it puts her in place to interact with the story.

Then our new characters will have to find Swift via finding the griffon first to get the key to the artifact.

The first piece is with swift. The second piece is supposedly with the other changeling queen, whom is being visited by Janeri. Salleria steals the other piece of the artifact as she is also trying to find the other piece of the artifact to fix the seal. She is working for another pony whom has also noticed the damage to the dimensional barrier.

The problem is that Swift doesn't trust the Griffin , nor do the changelings. While Salleria doesn't know that swift has the other piece.

Should we create a villain to spice things up? A monster from Tartarus perhaps that wants to break the seal?

@,

So Salleria stole the artifact from the changelings while Swift has the key.

How about the changelings get the new adventurers to retrieve the artifact from Salleria, so she is the only one who knows about the weakening barrier. She has to find and take the key before the adventurers or Swift catch her first.

That gives us why the griffon is running and ties in the other characters nicely.

That's an excellent idea. Crispy, your thoughts?

( the one plot hole here is why the changelings don't send their own crew after her. Maybe they put a bounty on her head or something

@, @@Illiad Easle,

Okay, I'm back now. I like the idea of having the seal of Tartarus weakening and our new adventurers trying to find Salleria so it can be fixed. It makes sense that changelings are weakened from the attack, and that's why they can't do it. It looks like this is shaping up to be a sort of road trip thing, because the new adventurers would be searching across Equestria for Salleria. On a side note, if you guys want to keep it between us, that's cool. I'm assuming I'd be DM again, which is also cool. What new OCs do you guys want to use?

I'd use Enzo and Khris, but it's a bitch to role play with them on mobile ( and I'm on mobile most of the time I'm online with you guys because I use my phone in class )

So I guess I'll use second sight.

UNLESS I create another OC for this. Hmm...

@@crispy fries,

Illiad Easle (I have a character page for him but it attaches to an alternate fannon that I'd rather not get into for this RP)

An archivist in his late 20s currently stationed in Dodge to assist in the recording of the history of the buffalo. A unicorn with a khaki coat and dark brown mane and blue eyes. He has a magic diamond that through the constant application of magic can transform into any item. He uses it mostly as a broadsword or a tower shield. He has emotion sensing abilities similar to that of a changeling, despite not being one.

I've really weathered this character, he should do well.

@, @@Illiad Easle,

I vote you make a new one. I just finished throwing one together specifically for this RP, so I'll post it now. If you guys have anything to say about it, say it.

Name: Ballpoint.

Age: 24

Personality: Ballpoint is rude and crude, but she's also smart, so she knows when to shut her mouth. Despite her rude exterior, she tires her best to do good in the long run, and always wants to know the truth. Ballpoint has a soft spot for her little sister, and would die before letting anything happen to her. Ballpoint hates ceremony, strict rules, and having to dress up for anything, and can be impatient. She's willing to get her hooves dirty, and doesn't shy away from violence.

Backstory: Ballpoint grew up in Canterlot, and had rich parents who barely ever made time for her or her sister. As a result of her resenting her parents, she resented the Canterlot lifestyle as well. She found the ponies who lived there were snobbish and stuck up, and Ballpoint made a habit of tweaking their noses, her favored method being finding out their secrets. Ballpoint found her calling in journalism, and works as an investigative journalist for the Canterlot press.

Here's a pic of her

@@crispy fries,@,

Once you have your oc's ready you'll need some reason to be in Manehatten, as close to Midnight Blue as you can reasonably get them. As the premise is her sending you guys out and it's not like she'd advertise the need for help. If you need a changeling can recommend you toward her with something along the lines of "You need work? I hear Midnight Blue over at the rebuilt Hay tower was looking for some adventurous hooves."

Our initial posts should be an overview of what happened between where we are currently and where we want the start to be.

@@Illiad Easle,

If I'm going with Ballpoint, she'd be investigating what happened. I'll start the thread since I'm DM, but let's wait for @ to say what OC he's using.

@@Illiad Easle, @,

Cool. I'll start a new thread and stick the link in the first post of this thread. Should we have a subtitle for part two? Like Midnight in Manehattan: Revelations (That's a crap subtitle though)
