We cans ay that she went to the Inn and asked the Innkeeper for information, and the innkeeper told her that he heard rumour of a changeling hive being somewhere in the south west of the badlands

However, Swift is chasing her, she would probably change her path to throw him off.

Swift already knows where the hive is and thus would proceed straight there to wait for her to find it, and as she does not know where it is she would have a very difficult time finding it. Also, the hive is not too far out of town, just across the green line directly south on the map I showed you.

 

The innkeeper wouldn't really have any idea where the hive is anyway.
