He stopped in his tracks for only a moment before continuing his pace and just looking at her in utter disbelief. He opened his mouth, but words refused to come out, he didn't know what to say, how to put his emotions to words. He was absolutely dumbstruck. So he just let his eyes go to the ground, unchanging. That kind of act warrants violence. Breaking and entering. But then he looked back up to her, pulling one of his emotions from the rest, "Are you okay?"

"Y'all ain't gotta worry about me. It was that little bastard that almost got hurt. Ah oughtta file a restrainin' order, or maybe just break his arm. Either way, ah'll hafta be sure to deal with him some way. If he stole anythin', he's really gonna get it. Anyways, how are y'all?"

Luna got a few orders from Fluttershy about how she can help around the place.

 

"Well I guess shopping is on the list, that bunny is way to picky." Luna mumbled to herself as she syarted walking to town. It was still pretty early in the day though.

 

"Maybe I should have waited to go shopping, oh well, it's to late now."

He had to think about his response for a second. He wasn't going to oppose her teaching that criminal a lesson. How was he, he had to really reach down deep to come up with a feeling he hadn't felt in a long time. Content. Yes, he felt content clodding down the path to an unfulfilling job with a friend of his in the crisp air of morning. And so he answered, "Well." But he also had to bring up the elephant in the room, "So he looked to her with a smirk, "Don't do anything I wouldn't do, " and a wink.

Missklang walked to Fluttershy's cottage. He liked to go there from time to time as he liked the fact that it was far from ponies. He remembered the first time he went there. That poor Fluttershy almost jumped through the window when she saw his glowy eyes in the doorway. Yes, perhaps coming to introduce himself in the middle of the night wasn't the best idea but it all worked out. It seemed to him that Fluttershy didn't consider him much as another pony but rather an interesting specimen of some weird species of ponylike appearance. He couldn't blame her for that. After all, she was partially correct about that. He walked to the backyard to say hello to her as she was feeding the birds and then went to play with cats that Fluttershy had brought to her home few weeks ago. He always liked cats and they understood that, accepting him in their very selective circle, allowing him to stay nearby and even sometimes climbed on his head.

"Ah'll keep that in mind," chuckled Redwood. "So, how come y'all think th' boss is gonna put me on delivery duty today?"

 

Redwood wasn't to opposed to the idea of making deliveries. It would give her a chance to do some walking around, and it would definitely be less tedious than unloading crates.

As they stepped through the gates, his demeanor completely changed. It was professional Echo now. "Well, Redwood, he's going to want you to know how to do everything. There is no steady job designations here, you are positioned as you are needed." Quick blush before shaking it off, "He'll want you experienced in it all as soon as possible."

"Makes sense," said Redwood. "So I just go and talk to th' boss to get mah assignment fer th' day, right?"

 

It was true that Redwood was inexperienced, as her question had just shown. She would need to learn the ins and outs of her job, and preferably learn them quick.

He nodded and said, "Yes. Every day you will see the boss, if the boss is not here, which is rare, then the shift leader will be the on you report to. Her name is Line Wave." He approached the Wheel Box's office as Line Wave left, nodding to both of them. He went in and was immediately turned around with the words "Loading carts with Ringer."

Redwood walked into Wheel Box's office right after Echo.

 

"What am ah doin' today, boss?" she asked as she entered.

 

Redwood made a mental note to stay on Whell Box's good side. It definitely wouldn't do her any favors to have her boss dislike her, and she needed this job.

The boss smiled at her before sliding a file folder to the side of his table and saying in a jolly tone, "You'll be on deliveries today, but lets talk for a moment. How was your first day?" He wasn't the kind of pony whom would ask something if he didn't need to, but at the same time he had the expression of knowing on his face as he asked."

"All in all, it wasn't too bad. Echo was real good at showin' me th' ropes. Ah'd vouch fer him any day," said Redwood, deciding to leave out the incident at Sugarcube Corner.

 

Redwood made sure to put in a good word for Echo, as she wanted to help him out in any way she could.

"Ahhh" He waved off her appraisal fro Echo while sitting back down, adding, "Yeah yeah yeah, I know hes a good employee. But I've gotten quite a few words on you too. Just yesterday Line Wave told me that you were "Impressive." " He nodded and added, "Line Wave is my eyes, she is who decides who stays and goes. Nail this job like the one yesterday, and you'll  be on your way to doing what I'm going to have every pony doing for a much longer time." Then he waved her off after another quick smile with a gruff, "Now, get outta here!"

"If nothin' else, ah'll put out quality work," Redwood said as she left the office.

 

Redwood then walked up to Echo, and asked, "Hey, just where am ah supposed to get th' deliveries? Th' boss just said ah should do a good job and told me leave. Ah honestly don't know what ah'm doin'."

He was putting on his uniform again, looking into his locker when he floated a cap over to Redwood. He answered, "Every morning before we get here Box goes around to the carts and posts clipboards on the side of them, letting us know what goes where. Just approach a cart no being used and start helping the loader. I'm going to say work with Ringer. Large stallion, can't miss him" Then looking to her, "Did you bring water?"

Luna walked around a bit waiting for the stands to get set up for a whole, before buying what Fluttwrshy asked her too. After getting everything, she check again to make sure that she really did get everything. Luna started walking back to Fluttershy's cottage, she was always happy to help her.

The cat jumped from Missklang's head and ran to hide under the bed. Someone was coming. As he was currently in the house and Fluttershy being outside, he decided to welcome whoever was coming. He trotted towards the door and opened it just at the moment that the pony behind wanted to knock.

He greeted the mare as he opened the door right in front and lurked at her with his eyes.

"You weren't here before I left earlier, did you just show up?" Luna didnt know much about Fluttershy, and thought this was one of her friends.

 

"Are you one of Fluttershy's friends, I don't think we met before. My name is Luna Flower, what is your name?" She had a monotone voice as she asks all if these questions.

White mane...Wolf necklace...Bright yellow eyes...Monotone voice.... Are you a witcher? Hmm... Nevermind... Of course, you aren't... Well, I never saw you either. Are you new in town? Well, I am new too but since I didn't saw you the week before I assume that you are new too... 

He smiled and stepped back letting Luna Flower inside

"Water? No I didn't bring no water. Why do y'all ask?" said Redwood as she went up to one of the carts.

 

Redwood took the clipboard and proceeded to hitch herself to the cart, and was able to pull it out with little effort. The load seemed doable, and Redwood was sure this would've be too hard.

He rolled his eyes with a friendly smile and tossed her his. He could use the fountain at the warehouse. He answered, "Well, just start bringing one with you from now on. You wont regret it." The burly stallion Ringer shouted at her before she left, saying, "Rookie, get back here and lets fill the cart, okay?!" Echo stated as he passed to fill a different cart, "He'll bring them to you and mark them off as sent when you leave, its your job to stack them in your cart how you think is best."

She seemed to do fine yesterday without it, and she had even skipped lunch, but maybe deliveries were more taxing.

 

Redwood approached Ringer and said, "Echo says ah should be workin' with y'all. So yer gonna bring th' stuff that's gonna go in th' cart?"
