Indicus remembered the Canterlot Invasion at the time he and his squad were with Luna hunting down a group of bandits harassing a some frontier towns in the badlands along with a rouge dragon by the time they had received news the whole thing was over. "Well good luck with getting that deployment. Anyway I should get going and head home nice meeting you Virtus." Indicus left heading for his home.

As Redwood laid in bed, she saw her old military vest poke out of the closet. It seemed almost as if it was looking back. The vest was one of the few things that Redwood held dear. It was just a normal tactical vest, but it had served her well throughout her military career. While her comrades may have come and gone, the vest had always stayed with her. She kept it mostly to keep the memory of those she had seen die.

Redwood let the thought go as she drifted to sleep.

Twas an hours long jam session, and lasted until about eight. Going through both original works and others songs as well. He felt alive, which, sadly enough, didn't happen often enough. At the end of his session, he layed down in his bed and thought guiltily back on how he treated pinky pie... and that stallion.. He had been wrong. While he did help that mare, it hadn't relieved his guilt.

There was too much. He had too much more amends to make. Maybe that was his special talent was. Feeling terrible.

Upon Luna's mention of the changelings, Virtus felt a slight ting of irritation. He had been sent away on a mission to the Badlands during the time when the changeling queen decided to invade Canterlot, and even went and fought Princess Celestia. He always cursed himself for not being there to support the princess, but as she told him countless times his mission was just as important. Besides, Princess Twilight and her friends handled the situation quite well. "Yeah, they thought we would be a easy food source for them, so they tried to invade Canterlot, imprison its citizens, and expand their colony. It's a darn shame I missed out on it." Virtus let out a brief sigh of discontentment before he went back to his smiling self.

"But yeah, nice to meet you Indicus. Sounds like you have experienced many exciting and dangerous adventures, or jobs. I understand the feeling of restlessness. I get that quite often. I'm hoping I'll get send somewhere fun soon, like Undiscovered West or the Mysterious South." Virtus replied excitedly. "And thanks for the offer. I'll keep that in mind, though I do have my own ways of meeting Twilight."

"Changelings aren't that bad" Luna nibbled this under her breath, almost forgetting about the other pony.

"W-wait, he left already, I didn't even intruduce myself, I feel bad about that." Luna felt rude for not intruducing herself, but soon ignored it.

"S-so what do you think about changelings?" Luna didnt really want to change the conversation to much.

"Thanks for that! Have a safe trip home, Indicus." Virtus told the stallion and watched him leave.

"Oh, don't feel bad. I'm positive you will see him again." The pegasus adverted his attention back to the mare. "What do I think about changelings? I think they're pretty awesome! I mean, they can literally turn into any pony, right? I have met a few during my travels and they were nice to be around overall. I hope you don't think I dislike changelings because of what happened. I don't know every changeling, but I'm sure majority of them were just following the queen's orders. One changeling's actions does not justify the entire race, after all."

"Y-you think so too, that means I'm not the only one, he would be so happy to hear that" Luna whispered the last part to herself, and had a smile. Finding others that like changelings isn't easy because of what happened at the Cantorlit Weeding.

"I think that they are just misunderstood, and all they need is love to live, kind of like a normal pony."

He awoke, more tired than he had been when he fell asleep. Looking over to his bass and letting out a sigh before making himself a glass of tea and slicing up an apple, letting it brew until the juices mixed in.

Breakfast, tea, hygiene, getting ready, another stressful sigh, and he was out the door within an hour.

@@Colenso Rivers,

Redwood woke up bright and early as she usually did. After a quick breakfast, she headed down to the delivery company to turn in her job application, and hoped she'd run into the stallion from the night before who had given it to her.

As Redwood was walked there, she was in luck and saw him on his way.

She walked up to him and said, "Hey, ah just wanted to thank y'all fer th' application. Ah'm Redwood by th' way, and ah don't think ah got yer name."

Indicus woke up earlier then most ate breakfast and started a run around the town finishing about when most others woke up before summoning a shadow clone and fighting it near his home at the edge of the Everfree. He eventually finished his normal daily training routine, put his light leather armor and sword belt on and headed into town after a shower to check the freelance work available. He arrived at the help wanted board and started reading it, "Hmm modeling no, plumbing no, ah seems Zecora has something says here she wants a special ingredient go to her place for details." Indicus took the poster off the board and put it in a pocket on his armor and headed to Zecora's

(If anyone wants now is the time to run into Indicus)

On his way to work, a familiar voice reached out and hit him, and he wasn't quite sure how he felt about it. His down facing slightly shifted towards her, but he still refused to make eye contact. "It's Echo. And don't thank me, it was my pleasure." For a pony well spoken, he didn't feel the part.

"Alright, Echo, if you don't want mah thanks, that's yer business. Wish me luck," Redwood said as she walked in.

Redwood didn't have much doubt about getting the job. She was strong, even by earth pony standards, and this seemed like the kind of job where strength would come in handy. Plus, she was also a veteran with ten years in the military, and that had to carry some favor.

He stepped into Wheel Box's office with her and his boss told him, "Echo, I need you unpacking the shipping crates today." Then he glimpsed at her and asked him, "Girlfriend?" Echo immediately turned an unnatural shade of red until he stuttered, "N-no, nooooo.. She's looking for a job, and I seen myself that she's strong and quick." Echo was starting to become his regular shade, when box looked over to her and said, "well, okay then." He gestured to her application, "Let me see that." Echo left.

"Howdy, ah'm Redwood," she extended her hoof and shook with Wheel Box.

"Here's mah application," Redwood said as she handed it to him. "Ah can do a whole lotta heavy liftin', and ah'm a veteran too. Ten years of military service. If need be, ah can start right away and mah wages are negotiable."

He shook her hand with an expression of suprise approval. Nodding his head and saying, "strong hooves.." He then took her application, turned it over, looking at it from all perspectives but not really reading any of it, then crumbling up the application and dropping it unceremoniously into a trash bin under his desk before saying tiredly/happily, "Listen here, Miss Redwood, the papers are there only because they hafta be. All you need here is strength and caution." Looking to some papers on his desk before adding, "Echo has never wronged me before. I trust him," Then he looked back up at you, "Seventeen fifty an hour, your locker is number seven, you'll get your uniform within the week, and you'll be working with Echo today." Looked back down, "If you hurry he might still be at his locker. And I expect good hard work from you hero."

Redwood couldn't help but notice the briefest of smiles across Echo's face. Why was he suddenly so happy that she was working with him? Redwood didn't have to much time to dwell on it now, she had to work.

"It's okay. As long as Ponies can see the logo." He trotted down the halls and through the warehouse where other ponies, all fairly strong, appeared hard at work. When they passed through the warehouse they were immediately met by six storage containers. All assumably filled with cargo. When he met them, he turned to her and stated proffesionally, making unusually (for him anyways), steady eye contact, "Okay, there's a unicorn, her name is Line Wave. She stands at the closest end of the warehouse. I will lift and remove each crate out of the container and drop it at the entrance. Then you will push it over to her, where she will organize them Okay?"

A loud metal screech groaned from the container as he unlocked and opened the door to the container and a box almost immediately floated next to and in front of her, setting on the ground. He began to sing a song by a rock group, and his voice wasn't half that bad. Although she couldn't see it, he was clearly in the zone, almost placing no thought on the repetitive labor and instead residing within himself while his body supervised his work.

He chirped intermittent while taking boxes to her, "Nope, but I might as well look like I am." And he continued until a few more boxes later when he told her, "Red, dont let anybody see your bruises. They'll think I'm with you."  His eyes seemed, dead while he spoke.
