Well, hello.

I can't actually believe I'm here, at all. I didn't intentionally become a brony, in fact, not a single person in my life would ever even suspect that I enjoy the show. I have to sneak it onto my computer, and watch it when my girlfriend is asleep, just to be able to see it at all. To be frank, I'm very weary of anyone finding out. Very recently, however, I discovered that I'm not the only person "in the stables," as it were, so I thought I'd find a place to channel my brony energy; and that brings me here.

 

I could prattle on about how I'm supposed to be some macho person in real life, and the what not, but to be honest, I absolutely adore MLP, and if nothing else, that's what I'm here to confess. I especially love the community that backs it up, and I'm making the conscious decision to become a part of that community. This is a foreign world, to me, and I'm hoping at the very least I can find someone to show me the ropes, and help me delve deeper into a world that I'd like to know as much about as possible.

 

My life wasn't hard before I found MLP, I never felt out of place or out of touch with anything. I'm a grown adult, a working class citizen with responsibilities and a healthy grasp on reality. Despite these facts, I find myself increasingly drawn to the show, and its community. As an aside, it's seven a.m. as I'm writing this, and I have a very long day ahead of me for work, and while that may seem unhealthy, this is my first day embracing the newfound joy this show brings me. I'm certain I'm not the only one who has let this all get the better of me, from time to time.

 

Apart from that, there's not much more to say. I look forward to exploring the forums, the fanbase, and everything you all have offer. I might design an OC, and get into roleplay, or contribute to the art community. I've had my eye on Fallout: Equestria for some time now, and would like to explore what that's all about. If you'd like to know more about me, feel free to reach out. I'm always looking for new people to party with.

 

Well, that's that. I have to say, I'm certainly excited.
