The first thing that popped up was Poniverse, which linked to a plethora of websites including this one. I made an account, and here I am! How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: That is quite an interesting and somewhat long story actually haha. It all started around two years ago, in the beginning of my junior year of high school. I wasn't the most popular there, nor was I that talkative. My range of friends had gone from a great many to a sad three or four at the time and I didn't take it very well (they all changed, not for the better). Let's just say that I fell into quite a slump. Not long afterwards, I slowly began to see MLP pop up everywhere. People's shirts, ads on TV, even drawings people made in the classrooms. I couldn't escape it - it was as if fate was trying to tell me something. After much skepticism I finally decided to watch the first two episodes. Outside I felt embarrassed, but deep down I knew I wanted to watch more. I pushed those feelings aside to focus on school, but I could not get those darn ponies out of my head! It wasn't until around one month later that I finished the first season, and I've been watching and LOVING IT ever since. I've been wanting to get more involved with this community for a while now, but have never put those thoughts into motion. Over these past two years, I've come to love virtually everything that the fandom puts out, but I have been unable to meet fans other than my best friend. My lack of motivation to do either is mainly because of my shy nature, but once you get to know me I can be as crazy as a certain pink party mare! I hope that we can all be friends.
