@@Illiad Easle,

Pink almost bolted down the hallway in an attempt to outpace the statue, but she held back, being reminded poignantly of Indiana Jones. Who knows what fiendish traps lay scattered across the hallway. She started off at a brisk walk, delicately testing out each tile before putting her weight on it.

Gale sighed and didn't know what weapon the two were talking about, but figured that she could at least try to figure something out. "How do I know you won't just activate it as soon as I turn it on? Also, who are you talking about? As far as I know, none of the others brought here are near me," The dragoness then noticed the broken tesla gate and felt every muscle in her body tense.

@@Goodleg00p,

The hallway seemed perfectly safe, the only traps she had seen so far in her stay was the goo puddle and the Tesla gate, and both of those were fairly obvious. She soon reached the open doorway to the T shaped security hallway. To the left the door was open, and to the right the door was closed.

@@Drago Ryder,

"Because we're still in here, I wouldn't be bothering with you if I didn't need your help to get out of this place. Don't worry about that broken gate, it was broken a long time ago." The door at the far end of the broken gate opened as the door behind her closed. "You guys did get pretty spaced out by 106, but Colonel managed to bring at least two of you together. Three rooms further forward I would guess. Watch out though, the one that 049 got is probably a 049-1 by now.

Gale nodded and proceeded forward with caution. "As long as they can burn or be cut, then I should be able to beat them." She said. As far as she knew, the dragoness had everything she needed in order to get out of the facility. Something about this didn't seem right to her, though. She could either get out of here without activating the nukes by using 106 as a distraction, or activate the nukes and destroy everything. For now, she would play along.

Copper looked at the words engraved in front of him.  He smiled, breaking the concrete stone he was in with very little effort, and said, "First of all, can't you talk?!  I wanna know what you sound like.  Second, you can forget going any further like this.  I've been trained by Discord to get through anything you would put me through.  Finally, because you wouldn't kill me when you had the chance, I'm going to make you pay by burning you to the ground.  And don't say anything about me not dying when I was trapped with you.  I didn't want to die that quick.  You should've given me a quick painless death when I had given up, but oh no, you had to play with me.  So either you stop, or I'm going to burn you."

Pink decided that the door already opened was probably the best choice. Anything already inside the room probably escaped, or had already gone through. She also did not have time to try to get through the closed door should it prove locked, since she had the statue thing on her tail.

@@Drago Ryder,

The next room was a four way security tunnel, the far door opened as the door on the other side of the broken Tesla gate closed. "Fire should be very effective against 049-1 Though you'd be best off avoiding 049 if you encounter it."

@@DwhitetheGamer,

106 only laughed, the room shifted as everything changed in proportion. Copper shrank as everything, especially 106, grew to epic proportions. Goo splashed over Copper and he could feel it beginning to rot his flesh away as it drained the power from him. It also severely reduced his speed, which would be a problem as 106's hoof was coming down above him.

@@Goodleg00p,

Through the left door was an active Tesla gate that seemed to operate on the same principles as the first gate she had encountered earlier. If she didn't close doors behind her the statue would be coming at her much quicker than she would want.

Except the goo never splashed on him.  As soon as Copper saw the goo coming, he moved out of the way as quickly as possible.  He flew up, as he was aimed by the goo and shouted to 106, "You asked for it!"  He charged up a magic spell and, as he got close enough, fired a W-I-D-E arc of fire at the goo creature, while still dodging the goo coming towards him.

@@DwhitetheGamer,

The final effect of perception fell away. Copper had never broken out of the block, 106 had given him hope and took it away. It controlled everything here including Copper's perceptions. He realized this just in time to feel a block pressing down on the top of his head. It seemed 106 had grown tired of toying with Copper. It was time for him to die.

The block fell and Copper was crushed beneath it. His heavily corroded and barely recognizable body ejected back into the facility as a warning to others to never cross 106.

EXCEPT...

Copper had one last trick up his sleeve.  He was able to conjure up a miracle potion and drank it just before the block crushed him, and even then, he managed to make it disappear within milliseconds of being crushed without 106 even realizing it.  As soon as he was crushed, the potion immediately took effect.

As soon as he was plunged back to the facility, a mere minute passed, and Copper was able to get back up again.  The corrosion was gone in a matter of seconds and he was able to breathe again.

Gale nodded slightly as she continued forward. "Makes sense. For a second, I thought you guys wanted to turn us into SCPs or whatevery you call them." Through the door in front of her was a high walkway that extended to the left and right, forward was a long drop to a sort of testing area. The left end of the walkway had stairs and the right end had a door with a hoofprint scanner. The right door opened as she approached. "Technically you do have an SCP designation like everything else stored here. The extent of the facility's goals would be to understand you and your home universe to see if it would be hospitable should this one become less so, like it did soon after you arrived. Unfortunately funding was diverted from this to the Æther project so your tests were never designed." "All it means to be an SCP is that there is some Special Containment Protocol assigned to you. Not all SCPs are monsters, but all of them pose either a known or unknown risk to the world. You and those that were with you fall into the unknown category."

Gale rolled her eyes as she simply continued to move. She couldn't exactly stop at the moment. "Well, that's comforting." She muttered to herself. The dragoness was a bit curious as to what these tests entailed, though. "As far as I know, I'm not really that powerful. "After some tests you'd probably be classified Safe, allowed to roam the facility and not spend all of your time in containment. You seem normal enough you might have even been simply released if we couldn't figure out how to send you back." The next door opened to reveal the prone form of Shadow. He seemed fine other than a missing forelimb and a broken hind leg as well as a long line of stitches extending from his chest to his waist along the underside of his barrel. Once the door opened he turned to face Gale, his eyes betraying no recognition.

She passed through the gate without incident. It occurred to her that closing doors behind her could delay the statue at least a little bit. Through the next open door was a square hallway, through grates she could see pipes running the length of the floor and ceiling.

@@Drago Ryder,

She was backed up to the rail of the walkway, Shadow's missing limbs slowing him down quite a bit. His head lolled a bit but the empty, soulless eyes remained fixed on Gale. "I can assure you that the abomination you see before you is no longer what you remember, it would be best to destroy it quickly, preferably with that fire you've got." "Listen, even if he was still in there, it is clear he is no longer in control of his body. Would you want to live like that? I agree with Colonel on this. Put him out of his misery, by you is a lot more pleasant way to go than to slowly rot."

Her confidence bolstered by the previous hallways being harmless, Pink bounded forwards, following the pipes in the direction the hallway led, not worried about traps so much anymore, but still flinching occasionally at the hissing pipes and such. She looked behind her almost constantly, worried about the statue, but more worried about making tracks.

The hallway outside the designated coordinates was barren, though looked different than the rest of the hallways in this zone. Next to the door through which she should find the elevator was a card scanner. When she had passed through one of the T hallways to here she had heard breathing and movement to the opposite direction of the one she went down. "This area doesn't have the PA system, Through that door is the room to the elevator which will take you down to the nuke controls. Once there just flip the switch labelled Remote detonation to ON for both the alpha and omega warheads. Then come back up here where we'll guide you through the next steps. Good luck down there."
