Pink stiffened in her journey upon hearing the announcement that the whole place would be nuked. She had to get to gate A or B, but she had no clue as to where that would be. She knew that she couldn't go back the way she'd come however, so she bolted along the security hallway and through the door, slamming it behind her.

@@Drago Ryder,

She could hear by the sound of the footsteps that she was gaining ground on the plague doctor. Through the left door was an unwelcome sight. A large security door with a number pad to the side and an open elevator door to the left. "I'm afraid I can't open that security door, but if you go through the elevator it will get you to the other side. Given that SCP-049 is up here there shouldn't be too much danger down there other than an 049-1 or two. Or you can try and guess the pass-code."

@@Goodleg00p,

The next room was much different than the ones she had encountered before. Across from her was a door that had been fully corroded through, leaving a gap big enough for a pony to easily climb through. On the floor in front of her was the corroded and decapitated corpse of Copper, and a level four key card. To the left was a closed door and some windows that had been covered with decades old blood, though she could hear some strange creature shuffling within.

Pink drew back in momentary horror at the corpse and jumped away from the shuffling door. Choosing between the three evils- a door behind which could not be a friend, a door that something or someone had melted through, and going back to Mr. Freezes-a-lot, she chose the melted door, skirting the corpse. It did not matter so much about caution if she was about to blow up forthwith anyhow.

Gale growled in frustration as she came across the locked door, but knew that she could possibly take a few cracks at the code door before SCP-49 caught up with her. The dragoness then typed in 2256 in quick succession an hoped that that was the correct password.

@@Goodleg00p,

The other side of the door was much the same as the first side, though there was no dead body on this side. Looking back she could still see the level four key card, perhaps it would be useful if she picked it up. The door across from the corroded door was open, revealing a four way intersection, the left door of which was open as well.

@@Drago Ryder,

Unfortunately the guess was wrong, and the door did not open. "You are aware that of the 10000 possible combinations only one of them would be correct right? You'd likely get through the elevator tunnels sooner than you could guess the correct code."

(There is a correct code, I would be surprised if you guessed it though, Heart was the only one to find the document that had the code so far.)

The sound of the steps was getting ever closer to her.

Pink realized that the key card would probably prove useful, and ran back through the melted door. She ran to the four-way intersection, and looked down the hallway that was open before running down that as well, closing the door securely behind her.

The next room had another Tesla Gate in it, it shouldn't be too hard to get through it.

A voice came over the PA System in her room, "Oh look, another one. Probably the last one in the facility. Well, I guess you'd... Hmm... This could prove useful."

The Tesla gate deactivated. The far door was opened. "Come this way.

Gale growled in frustration and knew that she couldn't waste time, or else she would end up like Shadow. The dragoness then took the elevator to the lower levels of the facility, hoping that she had escaped from 49. As she rode down the elevator, she drank some of the diamond ale.

(If there are any effects from this, I'll let you decide what they are.)

@@Drago Ryder,

It was darker down in the tunnels, but it was quiet. The elevator door opened to a length of security hallway similar to the ones she had been walking though earlier. This one extended to the left, and went to a dead end on the right. She could hear some shuffling to the left side.

Drinking the Diamond Ale had a few effects on Gale, her vision seemed sharper, better able to see through the darkness, and she felt an odd sensation, somehow she knew that her next blast of fire would be much more powerful that usual.

This was bad in any light. Pink did not trust the voice in the slightest, but every other avenue was now an impossibility. There was no way to trust anything, but this was at least a chance. She ran past the deactivated gate and up to the door, peering through before going in.

Gale heard something shuflfling to the left of the elevator and wasn't taking any chanced. When she looked outside, she noticed the dead end to the right and knew that the only way she could go would be the left. "That noise is probably being made by those things that other scp creates out of his victims. "She thought to herself, walking forward carefully.

The next room had another Tesla gate, though this one was in a drastic state of disrepair. The door she came through shut behind her and the one on the other side of the broken gate opened. "Not much of a talker are you? That's fine. You won't have to talk for the plans I have for you."

@@Drago Ryder,

As she approached the corner, so did the decomposing body of what looked to be a scientist. It appeared to have been an earth pony, but it was hard to tell. Once it saw Gale it began to move a bit faster towards her, having a bit of difficulty moving given it's decayed condition.

Gale saw the creature coming towards her and fired a ball of fire at it, knowing that it would incinerate it upon contact. The dragoness then took another drink of the ale she had, before continuing onward. "Hopefully that thing doesn't come down here." She thought to herself.

Pink scowled boredly. This could be one of two probably situations, one far more probable than the other. It could be someone trying to help her, and lead her through this hellish labyrinth quickly and efficiently. Yeahhhhh.

Far more likely some mad scientist willing to run her through mazes until both of them blew up.

Either way she didn't have much choice and trotted through the next door, closing it behind her.

As she had supposed, the decaying creature was destroyed on impact. Continuing around the corner revealed a length of hallway with a normal door on the left and a security door on the right both about midway down the hallway and both open. At the far end of the hallway there was another of the creatures, this one dressed as some sort of guard in ballistic armor.

Or so she assumed.

But however it was, at least she was making considerable progress without much hindrance.  She made her way through the intersection and the open door quickly, shutting it fast behind her.

@@Drago Ryder,

There didn't actually seem to be a way to close the security door from the inside, so the door remained opened. Gal could hear nothing outside of the normal ambiance of the facility. To the right and left ends of the room from the security door were desks, dust impressions indicated that something had been here previously, namely a sheet of paper and a keycard of some sort, but they were gone now. There was a switch on each desk both in the on position, one labeled generator, the other labeled elevator.

Across the room from the security door was a large, clear plastic, containment area. Presumable where 049 escaped from.

@@Goodleg00p,

The next room was a large test area of sorts, the door putting her on a high walkway. To the left were stairs that led down to the test area, and to the right a door opened to connect to the walkway on the other side of the large room, on the far end another door resided.

Gale knew that the dead guard was probably dead because of her flame, so she decided to investigate the room a bit more before leaving. The dragoness found it odd that dust would be left in an area designed to hold an SCP, but figured that it wasn't that important at the moment. She then walked towards SCP-49's cell, curious as to what she would see.

Pink looked towards the stairs, and decided she did not to return to where she had been, and saw the walkway on the other side of the room and logged that out as of the fact that right now, she was fine where she was, so she just kept going to the door on the far end of the hallway and opened it.

049's apparent cell was closed, the clear walls of the sides allowing one to see in. Inside was... something. It was vaguely equine in proportion, though more closely resembled a flight suit than an actual individual. It seemed to be flailing about within the cell in an attempt to break out of the cell. It may have been speaking, but no noise could be heard from the outside.

The cell door did not look difficult to open should she feel so inclined.

Gale knew that she should've been more careful, but her curiosity as to what the thing within the cell actually was continued to draw her in. The dragoness didn't open the cell right away, though. She just simply walked around in an attempt to find any file about what could be contained within the room. It certainly wasn't SCP49 or 96, so those two were out of the possibly subjects.

@@Drago Ryder,

There was surprisingly no document in this room, it seemed that whatever was in the cell was not meant to be contained here.

On closer inspection of the cell one could see that the interior was without a trace of dust, while the exterior had quite a bit of dust about.

The thing in the cell seemed to take notice of Gale. It gestured with it's odd forelimb towards the door of the cell. Lever operated it should be easy enough to open.

@@Drago Ryder,

The odd creature gave an audible sigh as the door opened, gale could feel a slight rush of air out of the cell as it did so. "Oh thank you for opening that door for me." It's voice was light and airy. Almost like it was a whisper on the wind.

Without the cell walls obstructing the view Gale could see more clearly the creature she had encountered. It had the same general shape as a pegasus, complete with wings at it's sides, though it had a hole where a horn would typically sit on a unicorn as well as holes instead of eyes and a mouth. It walked towards the door as a pony would, it's pace clearly betrayed that it was quite light.

"It was torture being locked in there, away from all that wonderful dust. That stupid doctor locked me in here after it tore me off of one of it's creations. I was getting worried when the alarms started going off, but now you're here."

It got quite close to her, then it's expression fell a bit. "You're too big to be a host, and it looks like you don't shed enough dust to even be a worthwhile host. Oh well, there is plenty of dust in this facility and it's all mine."
