Haha! COUNT ME IN! The Sims series is so addictive that I spend 6 hours a day playing it! 

I'm used to play the sims 2 but moved onto 3, which is the best I've played so far. 

 

Also, here's something for you simmers/MLP fans out there!

I used to play sims 3 quite a bit, sometimes for actual gameplay, other times for just architecture and famous family recreations. I stopped after a while though.

They're announcing something tomorrow. I'm presuming/hoping it's going to be an expansion as it has been a while since the last one was released. I agree though, a lot of things should have been in the base game. They released it unfinished in my opinion. We still haven't got bloody burglars :| or toddlers. They are things that were in the Sims 2 base game for Christ's sake.

 

I've been saying it for a while... In the path EA is heading down, eventually aging altogether will become an Expansion Pack feature. When you have a fandom which doesn't understand that weather and seasons are so integrated into our everyday life that they think that those are actually justified as being an Expansion Pack feature post-The Sims 2, then they're easily going to be able to be fooled into thinking that something like Aging can be saved for Expansion Packs, too.

 

The lack of toddlers in The Sims 4 is just the start. Mark my words.

I love the Sims. I've played the series since the first installment. The Sims House Party, to be specific, was my first experience after my brother showed me the game. Since then I bought all the expansion packs. Then I skipped out on the Sims 2 because I didn't have a computer that could run them very well at the time. Then I bought the Sims 3 and all the expansion packs. Then I bought Sims 4 but I don't like it as well as Sims 3, so I mostly play Sims 3.

 

At launch Sims 4 didn't have much content so I haven't played it in awhile. Have updates made the game better? I have the work expansion pack.

I own Sims 3 along with a good deal of the expansion packs, and the base game of Sims 4. I absolutely love both of them, but seeing as I have plenty more content on Sims 3 I tend to play that more often. I haven't actually gone on it a while, though, actually... This thread has reminded me that I shall have to play it again soon. It never fails to provide great entertainment!

I have quite a lot of families and love trying new things with them - I usually end up using the household funds cheat to get an awful lot of Simoleons to spend on creating the biggest, best house in house in town though.

I'd say my favourite expansions are Pets, Seasons, and Late Night, Late Night being the most recent one I purchased.
