ggg-2 3,553 April 27, 2016 Share April 27, 2016 I can't speak from experience, since the only people who know i'm a brony are my family, but has anyone ever been bullied for being a brony and had a non-brony stand up for you and defend you? 1 Don't be a nerd. GeekySonic 1,150 April 27, 2016 Share April 27, 2016 Kind of, I guess. There have been a couple instances where I was getting flak for wearing a pony shirt or something, and someone randomly inserted a "I think it's cool," before slipping away. Check out my voice-acting demo reels on Casting Call Club, if you'd like.
Kyoshi Frost Wolf 41,554 April 28, 2016 Share April 28, 2016 Sorta, only on YouTube which is ironically the place where I get bashed the most for being a Brony. I have had only a couple of instances where a non-Brony basically said that the hater was a moron for bringing it up when nobody else did. That was pretty fun to read.
EverEverOn 346 April 30, 2016 Share April 30, 2016 Yes, actually. I was feeling somewhat embarrassed about liking MLP one day, but a close friend of mine almost always geeks out over Pokemon, so she understood how I felt, liking something generally meant for a younger audience. She never makes me feel bad about what I enjoy.
PacificGreen 1,163 May 2, 2016 Share May 2, 2016 Not really. I rarely ever bring up the fact that I like MLP, and when I do, my friends don't really make fun of me or think any less of me because of it. They may laugh, but it's more a laugh of surprise than a malicious one. Online, I haven't really had any problems with people dissing me for being a brony. gamecubeguy214 2,512 May 2, 2016 Share May 2, 2016 No, but I have been made fun of for it, but it's not like it's going to offend me, so whatever. 1 Pennutoh has a gun
SugarfootWillie 383 May 2, 2016 Share May 2, 2016 Naw everybody rails on me when I mention it, so I turn it into a joke and we trade shots talking smack.
FluffyGoat13 375 May 9, 2016 Share May 9, 2016 Not really, no. It's mainly because the people who have given me flak over it either do it jokingly, or get bored when I just shrug it off. Although I have had this one girl who heard some of my friends joking about it come up to me and ask "Are you really a brony?" and when I told her I was she immediately went "Oh my god! You guys are, like, legends of the internet!" I was unsure on how to respond to that. 1 "I love deadlines. HoovesOnIce 74 May 26, 2016 Share May 26, 2016 I personally have not anywhere besides the internet mostly cause I don't really flaunt it so not many people know.
Looking Glass 197 May 27, 2016 Share May 27, 2016 No one has really said anything about my being a Brony, good or bad. I've been attacked for my political beliefs, and other things, but never for being a brony. Of course, I wasn't a brony until college (I graduated in 2010, and found ponies in 2012), and no one bothered in college, people there were pretty pleasant overall, I even knew a couple other bronies (and furries!) there. On the internet, I have not been attacked for being a brony either, although another brony did scream at me on another pony forum once for some stupid reason related to ponies. I personally have not anywhere besides the internet mostly cause I don't really flaunt it so not many people know. For the most part, that's how I am, if someone asks or brings up ponies, I may speak about it, but I am not really one to advertise my being a brony.
