TheAnimatorOfficial 567 May 3, 2016 Share May 3, 2016 My fear with Nickelodeon is they would move it to Nick Jr. and make it entirely a pre-school show. Cartoon Network would allow the stakes to be raised, but I wouldn't want them to be raised so much where it's not MLP anymore. Disney would keep it the exact same, but the fandom would be obliterated by their copyright. Netflix would have no effect but there would be even less support than on Discovery. I miss the Hub. Mesme Rize 15,692 May 3, 2016 Share May 3, 2016 The thing is and i said that in an earlier thread, TV as we know it dosen't draw people these days and i feel that TV is slowly dying, within the next 10 years, because more and more people are getting their entertainment, from their PCs, their Smartphones and their tablets, because they have everything they need. For me, the best option would be Netflix. I just currently got into Netflix a half year ago and i love their content. They already show original stuff there and i think more and more studios should go the route of Netflix, or other streaming that are available. But what do i know? Nothing. 1 My OC Mesme Rize: >https://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/mesme-rize-r8777 Thank you Randimaxis for this Wonderful Avatar. Please, don't be afraid to talk to me. I am not as unapproachable, as you might think.

Jeric 46,880 May 3, 2016 Share May 3, 2016 Netflix would have no effect but there would be even less support than on Discovery. Their suggested viewing algorithm is a better marketing tool than the entire Discovery marketing team. Honestly, unless Hasbro decides to relinquish creative control, the show would not change just because the viewing platform is changed. We are talking about a distribution agreement here, not changing IP ownership.
Megas 28,109 May 3, 2016 Share May 3, 2016 (edited) Cartoon Network would probably give it a 4 AM death slot Nick would make it awful and then kill it after a month because it isn't Spongebob In Disney it would go anywhere Netflix would undoubtedly be the best choice for the show. It does fairly well there and we probably wouldn't have to worry about the show changing. Not only that Netflix continues to grow while traditional television is dying Edited May 3, 2016 by Megas

Marimo 555 May 3, 2016 Share May 3, 2016 (edited) LOL TV is not dying in a lot of areas: cartoons are one of them. Kids cable networks have been decreasing in ratings. In total viewers last year, Disney was down 10%, Cartoon Network was down 8% and Nickelodeon was down 25%. Edited May 3, 2016 by Marimo
cuteycindyhoney 13,336 May 3, 2016 Share May 3, 2016 Since I refuse to get the more expensive higher tier package from Comcast for just one show on one channel, I have never actually watched an episode on television. Thank you Sparklefan1234!!!
