Now all I need is the animators of Dragon Ball Super to apologize for their nonsense.

 

 

 

Is that comparing a 1 and a half hour movie to a multiple episode series? Movies tend to have bigger budgets and more time to focus on detailed animation, rather than having to crank out episodes in short order, hence requiring animation shortcuts. Hardly a fair comparison. Compare DB Super to the other series instead.

Besides, the problem with DB Evolution was mostly missing the essences of the characters and a terrible story line, not bad visual effects.

I didn't think that movie was very good, neither was the PSP game but that's good he apologized. I hope we do get a good Dragon Ball movie some day.

The PSP game is really weird IMO, the game is literally just Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai with a DBE skin. Shin Budokai was a pretty fun game and admittedly the DBE game was pretty fun even though it was based on the movie and should've never been made like the movie

All jokes aside, Hollywood needs to set the standard in situations like these. Live-action adaptations have huge potential. People out there can make Toriyama proud - but where these individuals are? ... Who knows...

No, the problem was that it was missing the essences of the characters and it had a terrible story line, ALONG WITH bad visual effects. Hell, bad is actually too kind for it. They were Spy Kids 3D levels of bad. Fans could and have made a better looking and acted series in every regard.

Okay, I'll concede you that point. The Dragon did look crap in the DB Evo. Maybe I was thinking of The Last Airbender movie.

They had 10 grand and an actual understanding of the series, as supposed to the 30 million that went into Dragon Ball Evolution with the phoned in script. The difference in quality between the two is staggering, and it proves how much more important understanding the source material is than throwing a bunch of money at it. 

 

Imagine what they could of done with the 30 million dollar budget.
