Canon Aspect 1- Dormin, a being once worshiped by all, was split into sixteen massive Colossi by a legendary shaman named Emon. While the land inhabited was abandoned by the main populace that had begun to believe that Dormin was an evil entity, which was the large majority of the people of the aptly name Forbidden lands.

Somewhat Accurate Fan Fluff- A large population remained, and worshiped Dormin still through sixteen new gods and built in the deities' graces. They were as follows:

Valus- The Minotaur

Quadratus- The Bison

Gaius- The Knight

Phaedra- The Steed

Avion- The Phoenix

Barba- The Goliath

Hydrus- The Sea Dragon

Kuromori- The Shadow

Basaran- The Storm Tortoise

Dirge- The Sand Serpent

Celosia- The Flame Spirit

Pelagia- The Great Basilisk

Phalanx- The Sky Drifter

Cenobia- The Destruction Spirit

Argus- The Sentinal

Malus- The Grand Gigas

Rp Fluff- There were sixteen shrines built for lifestyles suiting the favor and worship of the Colossi, but seventeen in total. The first was built in worship of the high Deity Dormin. The average populace worshiped Dormin, all over the forbidden lands, but certain separated populaces worshiped singular Colossi and lived certain lifestyles pertaining to the Colossi.

Those whom followed Valus were herders, shepherds and found themselves skilled with dealing with wildlife. The Minotaur was the only colossi that animals would approach, and guarded the small with his massive size and mace. He was not hostile to his followers.

Quadratus was seen as the representation of the benevolence of nature, its people whom fed all of the Forbidden lands with their agricultural exploits that always bore plentiful fruit. The people of the Bison were friendly, generous and hard workers. No-one housed near it, but it was not hostile, only destructive in its size and shape, not intent.

Gaius's followers were the enforcers and knights of the realm. Honor bound warriors whom were respectable and authoritative. Gaius was placed upon a shrine built far from the evils of man, in the light of the sun, so it would know the truest of all purity. It was not hostile to some, but those accused of great crimes were brought before him, where it was said it could see your spirit, and would judge you accordingly. However most knights would actually live far from Gaius, for it was pure, they were only shadows of its image, and wouldn't dare taint his view on the truth of all things.

Phaedra was regarded as the colossus of life. Joy, love, fertility, and drink, the people of Phaedra behaved accordingly, living with a sense of childlike joy and wonder. Even though none lived within immediate proximity of it, they lived close, and even played with Phaedra, which was very friendly. All births and celebrations were graced by those who followed Phaedra.

Avion was that which was quick and unattainable, therefore it was only natural that freedom was what it was interpreted to represent. After the monuments were built for its pleasure, most its followers left. Those whom stayed were clearly impulsive, yet free spirits, meant to venture the world and destined for life outside the forbidden lands. It was actually taught that they sated the appetite of Avion, for it could see through their eyes, and those whom followed it could satisfy it with new places and experiences.

Barba was always seen as the divine of death, guarding the shrine to the underworld. Since the sacred ritual for the dead took place in the mausoleum, those whom served Barba had to go through a ritual that would leave them undead, for all those whom entered the mausoleum belonged to Barba, and that which belonged to Barba which will be dead. Nobody knows what the servants of Barbas are like; they take the bodies, enter the mausoleum, and never come out otherwise. They do not speak, and dress so not any feature of theirs can be seen.

Hydrus, the sea dragon of purity. Before one is given to one of the Sixteen Colossi, they must go through a sacred ritual with Hydrus, then through its mystical divinity and through the cleansing ritual after by those whom serve it, you are given to your idol. Out of all the servants of the colossi, they are the most spiritually and emotionally in tune, they are soft hearts, understanding and can easily sense mystical phenomenon that others simply cannot. They live inside of a large underwater temple that sits inside the lake of Hydrus. The farther down they live, the more attuned they are.

Kuromori, the shadow. Seen as one of the three lesser colossi given its size, followers of Kuromori are often looked down upon. Moreso because of their unsavory nature. They are skilled assassins, thieves, and spies. However, all people of the forbidden lands can serve, and if anything is suspected or unsettled, it always good to have eyes, ears, or a knife hidden in the darkness. They live in the oasis outside of Kuromori's temple, for all is its prey. Just as venomous and hostile are it's servants.

Basaran, the storm tortoise. Those whom serve Basaran are typically extremely strong, with high endurance. They actually are the builders of the Forbidden lands, stonemasons, miners. Basaran teaches with his anger and desolate landscape, that man must build walls that can withstand the destructive wrath of storms, and that strength is survival. None live even close to Basaran. The servants are strong, very devoted, and solid characters that value strength over all else, cause nothing else is necessary.

Dirge, the sand serpent's followers are the most easily described as strange. They are the scholars of the forbidden lands, prying into the mysteries of the universe and tend to be the most intelligent people, however their incredible insight also tends to make them a tad more eccentric than the rest. Their dwellings filled with texts and artifacts. Nothing is expected from them other than to see and know, and they are often left alone to pursue their studies relentlessly. They do not live with Dirge, for it is ever hungry, like the minds of it's servants. However, it isn't hostile to all.

Celosia, the flame spirit, is also another of the lesser colossi. Called the flame spirit for its natural fear, it teaches its followers the value of being able to fend off attackers. Those whom are armed, are capable of living against those whom would do them harm otherwise. They are the smiths of the forbidden lands, supplying the people with teeth and claw. They are very enthusiastic, and are generally happy and optimistic, knowing that they are a small cog of a very big machine. They are rarely frightened of the elements.

Pelagia, the great Basilisk. Those whom live under the great basilisk are seen as wise yet most cryptic of all Colossi servants. They are the divine healers, and artists of the forbidden lands, making medicines for the weak and sick, and poisons for those fated to die. There insight on the myth and legends, history and that of the spiritual realm is somewhat unreal. They work incredibly well alongside the followers of Hydrus. They do live alongside their idol, but carefully so.

Phalanx, the sky drifter, who’s followers can best be described as Monk Nomadic. They are by far the most peaceful people, which travel with the wind, never resist, but always move as that which around them does. They are not defenseless, but “go with the flow”, move with their idol. They are seen as the wisest of the forbidden lands, reaching true enlightenment.

Cenobia, the destruction spirit. The last of the lesser Colossi. Those whom follow him are actually separated from the rest of the forbidden lands, attacking the main populace quite often, but failing just as often. Even though they follow a legitimate idol, Cenobia represents the lust for destruction and death that man holds so close to heart. They serve their idol by destruction, and thusly it is expected for them to attack others. They are skilled, yet undisciplined on the field of combat, seeing no fear with death, and more than not, never choosing a defensive stance. Needless to say, they do not live near their idol.

Argus, the Sentinel. Those who serve it are completely devoted to the bond between all men, especially the comradery of brothers at arms. They protect the forbidden lands to the best of their abilities alongside the Knights of Gaius, but while the knights enforce law and live by a code of honor, the Sentinels are only trained to protect the lands and be proficient combatants. They boast a coliseum where all warriors can take pleasure in battle. They are proud, and jolly fellows who strike true every time, for they can never be wrong in their purpose.

Malus, the Grand Gigas. The followers of the Grand Gigas demand both respect and fear, they are omnipotent and ruthless. They are the masters of the power of the Arcane. They care for nothing but their Idol and becoming more powerful. They are left alone, and live underneath the feet of their colossus, for that which it sees is unworthy. It is said they can see into the immediate future.

All of the people of the forbidden lands made it the wonderful place that it was. There were also sixteen companions to the colossi, born with forms and powers befitting those closest to their Idols. Of all, they honored their idols the most, and were always able to be close to them, no matter how hostile to others they were. They were known as the Children.

They lived in peace for hundreds of years, until Emon returned. The people of the forbidden lands were slain, the Children sealed away. For a thousand years, they rested, even long after Wander killed the Colossi. To awaken once more.

You will play as one of them. Awaken where you like. Take any form you wish. You can be a gryphon, merman/maid, a fricken tiger, or even a gosh darn pony. The children took many forms. Awaken in any place you think appropriate.

I will be playing as Monstantia, the Child of Gaius.

Monstantia is a very tall and strongly built, humanoid creature. Standing at around eight feet tall and weighing over 700 pounds Monstantia grows natural, gunmetal grey to silver overlapping plate armor that covers most of his body except for his abdominals his right shoulder and arm and small portions of his legs. This armor is super dense and heavy, giving him a supernatural strength to make up for the fact that it would otherwise destroy his agility. It is both his intense strength and weight that grants him agility he should otherwise be without, and grants him the ability to charge as an almost unstoppable force. This grants him his trademark ability to smash and penetrate almost anything that would be between a sinner and judgment. However, it is this same armor which prevents him from being able to swim, climb most things, brake well, or be taken to the air by other creatures. Not even Avion, the phoenix colossus can lift him into the air.

The places on his body without the plate armor grow a black crystal, excluding his abdominals, which are completely unprotected. This crystal utilizes a form of photosynthesis, is very hard, and grows in shards. His right arm is the part of his body most recognizable, given that past the elbow it is just a thick, long, sharp massive crystal shard which he uses as a weapon. Crystals also grow from the back of his calves.

Monstantia lacks any facial features except for his eyes, his whole face consisting of a smooth silver mask. He does require air to live, but he breaths through the space in between the overlapping plates on his back. On both sides of three of these plates’ juts long, downward slanted blades. They don’t seem to serve any other purpose than to deter attackers whom would strike the back. He also requires light for energy, which his crystal parts react with to create the necessary energy he needs to stay in motion, like a plant on overdrive. The armor of his left arm forms a powerful gauntlet which he wields a shield with. His feet resemble monstrous talons, and the crystals that form on his calves point down to the ground, to a length that they touch the ground and grant him extra support.

Ok, then. My character is a male dragon with purple scales and yellow eyes with red pupils. He is roughly 6 and a half feet long and about 4 feet tall. He is awakened in a small cave near the remains of a destroyed civilization.

Remember kids, it's not illegal if you don't get caught.

Question? What qualities makes him more qualified to be the child of Kuromori than any other colossi?

I suppose that it is because he is hostile and unsociable, but can be bought. He is also quite stealthy.

Okay, one more question. Stealth is an attribute that is equal parts skill and natural traits. What natural traits allow him to be considered stealthy?

Okay. Well, one last question: Stealth is equal parts skill and physical traits. He may be skilled, but he doesnt sound like he has much to work with naturally. What are his natural traits that promote stealth?@@The Narwhal Muffin,

First of all, agility. As he is a dragon, he would have lots of it. In addition to this, he has dark scales, a sleek body, sharp instincts, and he does not make much noise when walking, flying, or really anything.

I'm also going to give him wall climbing if you're okay with that. I need at least on more child before we start, eventually I'd like at least 5.

That's fine with me. I'm just wondering how we're going to get more people into this.

Maybe we could post status updates telling people about the RP?

@Colenso Rivers

Might as well throw my two cents into this

I'll be using a dragoness named Star Dancer as a daughter of Phaedra. She is around 20 feet long with a 10 foot wingspan. As for her appearance, she has black scales with distinct blue markings on her wings and head and green eyes. She is considerate of others and tends to be friendly in most cases.

Many dragons. Okay, any special traits and/or abilities?
