I couldn't find any, so I made one. A thread in which we can talk about our Amiibo. Whether you have one that you lay near your 3DS/Wii U and train them from time to time in Smash Brothers, or you have every Amiibo and put them up on a shelf in your room, share them here. Which Amiibo is your favorite? What was your first Amiibo? Have customized any Amiibo? This is the thread you go to when you went to Best Buy and you happen to find a Rosaluma Amiibo or when you see an Amiibo at Walmart with a remarkable defect. Post away! Here's my PAC-MAN Amiibo that I named Mom and trained up to level 50 by putting her at 300% handicap for 30 minutes to teach her how to dodge attacks, then putting myself at 300% handicap for another 30 minutes to teach her how to attack. Right now, she's good at punishing laggy moves. I once did PAC-MAN's grab and missed, then she ran up and up smashed.

Sure, there are some tricks I can do to make things easy, but I'd rather have a challenge. This game should have an online amiibo battle mode, where your amiibo fights the amiibos of others.

I have a Bowser ammibo, he's my favorite character. I actually have two Bowser figures, a Mario Kart one and a Super Smash Brothers one. They look similar but the poses are a tiny bit different. I really wanted the Hammer Slam Bowser figure but it's only bundled with that Skylander video game and I didn't want it.

 

For Super Smash Brothers I picked my custom Bowser to be blue in coloring just so he felt like a different Koopa character.

I don't have any money, but it would be pretty damn cool to tap an Amiibo to the gamepad and hear "Ike"

I have the Wolf Link and Captain Falcon amiibo, but I really wish they'd eventually make a legit toys-to-life game dedicated to amiibo ala Skylanders/Lego Dimension/Disney Infinity.

I don't, because I'm not a kid under the age of ten with two loving and well-off parents. I'm 19, I live in a homeless shelter, my parents despise me for being more than what they wanted me to be, and I much prefer their current style: Amiibo as bonus collectibles, NOT as necessary parts of a pay-to-win game.

 

Edit: Note that this is not a confrontational or insulting post. I'm mocking the vague concept of the thousands of kids playing those pay-to-play pay-to-win moneysinks, and thinking that's all there is to gaming. Not you, you're cool.
