Being startled by the sudden cry of an unknown source and he started to spiral down due to the excessive flapping of his left wing to how much his right wing was. As if instinctual he activated the fire propulsion method he found out earlier and managed to stop the downward spiral after just a second of burning. He was dizzy afterwards and knew he shouldn't use much more of his magic for the time being. What he saw when he looked to the source of the sound was... A bird? He wasn't sure of the species, he wasn't too knowledgeable when it came to birds afterall. In fear of the bird he stood still, it wouldn't be hard for it to keep up with his inexperienced flying.

Another alicorn. This was good, this meant he could reason with him. He stepped through the water and frost  which became a suit of armor that concealed his entire body beneath thick, diamond hard frost plates. The air around him became misty and foggy, obscuring the fine details of his armor so he was nothing but a white silhouette. He spoke with a voice and air of authority, "Are you mad? End your flaring heat at once." He could see the fellow alicorn's exhaustion, and then asked as he stood across from the fiery being, "You don't have a handle on your power, do you?"

The being spoke to him, it spoke as if it was above him. If his fire-induced rage from earlier didn't have him move around that much heat energy he'd be able to at least fight the creature infront of him if it proved hostile. The words it spoke, the question it asked. Is it safe to tell? That he cannot stop the energy from spreading due to the natural law? Most likely, the beast was clearly concealing something by covering himself in mist. All he responded with was an air that of some hot-headed prince and a tone that fit it as well "I can only let nature take its course, besides. Moving all that heat is beyond what I can do currently" he said staring straightly into the thing in front of him "And to answer your other question. I am well versed in the usage of my power, but it is difficult to... Employ in large scales without real concentration" he kept most of it secret from his new found acquaintance.

He removed his gaze in answer, he wasn't too worried about him as an enemy, "You are hurting others. That's all that matters." His armor dissolved away and the fog fell from around him. This legitimately upset him, but he let his emotions go in favor of a question, "So answer me, why the forest is burning away? What's your reason, your purpose?"

Magmosors eyes went soft and sad "I know that I harm others, I've seen it. The twisted bodies of burnt ponies... The fear and agony in their faces." his voice became quite sorrowful "I regret every pony I have killed. But, if it helps us re-unite Equestria. I would even remove the sun high above from existance." he said speaking as if he could do that, although he knew it would require him almost a month to do it in any reasonable time and to create a new sun afterwards would require four more with aid from others to help him keep the heat in one place. Magmosor looked upwards towards the sky feeling secure around the other person as he answered "I do not know the fire's reasoning behind burning the forest except to spread, I had no part with the excessive burning." he then turned to look at the other Alicorn "But, I guess we should seek safety where we both can rest foremost, no?"

"Good idea," Light responded. They should leave the forest, before they get caught by an alicorn hunter, or turned into fire fuel. It seemed like the forest was burning with a wildfire not nearly natural. Light was starting to sweat, the heat was a bit too much. Why is the forest on fire? 

 

"WHY DOES IT FEEL LIKE THE FOREST IS ON FIRE?" 

 

The blazing heat was not making it seem very safe at all. Light wanted to fly away right now, before things start heating up.

Copper looked at Light after the yelling, then used his magic to feel the air.  "That's because there's another alicorn who can't control their magic well enough.  I can sense the amount of air pressure in a given area with my magic.  Let's go ahead and fly, just in case the forest catches on fire, so that we can find the source."  And with that, he took to the air, wanting to find the alicorn who was doing this quickly.

Standing there, he shook his head at he Alicorn and reached for the moisture underground, which he pulled out and began to chill and condense the air with again, suffocating the flames. At the temperature he kept the moisture at, it wouldn't evaportate, giving it a chance to do its work, but while he did that, he asked, "What is the point of magic if you can't manipulate the laws of nature. You can control it if you take the time to learn instead of feeling bad for everything." He laid and held his focus on this task, "Water flows towards the ocean, but with magic I can make it defy its natural state and flow the other way." The shouting at him, "Why should i even let you go on living if all you do is kill, and you refuse to do what is necessary to save lives!"

Magmosor just stared straight into the pony infront of him "This isn't about my level of control, I'm way better at controlling any kind of flame you'll see than any other pony that has ever existed, even Twilight Sparkle. The element of magic doesn't have this level of control!" He said almost shouting. "But thats not the point here, it is why I have according to you 'poor' control over my magic. I don't, what you see is the byproduct of me using my magic whilst in rage. I do apologize for it though, I wasn't planning on it. Neither was it my idea in the first place." he scratched the back of his head "Maybe we came off the wrong hoof or something but I'm pretty sure either me being alone for god knows how long or you have misheard something here. I'm all for saving equestria and all in it, I'm not killing people because I want to or because I need to. It is simply the by-product of my power, but hey. Sure, if you want someone who will most likely be worse at controlling it than me incharge of using my powers then go ahead, kill me, it would only make your goal harder, wouldn't it now?"

"Well aren't you special. So it's your fury that killed them, so you're a murderer. Oh well, as long as your sorry, I guess all the lives lost are made up for." Then he began his approach, "But let me ask, what do you think my goal is?" Stopped, "To rule? To actively heal Equestria? No, if I were to slay you, I wouldn't strip you of your power, I would hide your body and let it rot away." As the fires in the distance began to fade, he laid down and yawned, adding, "But I guess I would rather just wait to see if you prove to be an active murderer. I guess the incompetent are used to getting second chances, why turn their worlds around." Looking around warily, hae stood and turned, "There was another alicorn in this forest somewhere if your looking for any. As for me, I do believe its time I leave."

Magmosor sighed 'If all Alicorns are like this guy we'll never cooperate and restore order...' he thought before activating his new magic transportation, the fires sparked alive scorching the ground beneath him and he almost instantly sped up to way beyond his previous maximum speed. Seeing trees, mountains, landscapes and lakes pass him for just a few seconds to minutes depending on their size. He finally found a suitable mountain in which he created an artificial cave where he then gethered up tree branches from outside in the forest nearby, the reason why it was suitable was this reason. After that he went into the cave and using his magic to rapidly heat up and cool down the rock he created a make-shift mountain wall with small small holes that are near-undetectable for the pony eye. He created small ventilation holes for the smoke to get out as thin as possible, he then ignited the flames and started to rest, most likely being followed. But how far he flew and how fast would probably take even the fastest fliers that are alive at least a couple of minutes to the get, though... Those that already were here due to reasons were knocked out and most likely put in a coma by him, all he needed to do was wound the internals of those ponies a tiny bit... Not lethally though. Though his makeshift cave was made to be comfortable while being stealthy he never did take a look on the outside, how could he? It didn't look like a natural wall at least.

The alicorn before him quickly left after a look of frustration and slight contempt, and he followed in suit, teleporting to the nearest lake in a crystal burst and landed on the ground before it. He shook out his mane, and realized he was a tad tired, all those transformations took it out of him. A blink and a yawn and he slowly stepped into the water which crystallized around his body as he traveled downwards. When he met the depths, he flash froze the water of the lake, and became one with the ice. Sleep was upon him, and he would savor every moment of it.

The forest was heating, fast. Light was already beginning to feel uncomfortable, as electricity magic and fire usually didn't mix very well. The white alicorn agreed and spread her wings, lifting off into the sky. The heat was making the dangers worse, and was a danger itself.

Copper looked as Light began to take the air, and nodded to her.  "My air magic can help cool down the area we're in.  Stay with me as I use my magic.  It might get a bit chilly, though, so just be wary of that."

 

He closed his eyes, as his horn started to glow a purple color.  Then, a decent enough breeze came in the direction from behind Light, and made its way through them.  The breeze was powerful enough to cool them down, but not the entire area.  "Follow me."  He went in the opposite direction of what he was facing, making his way through the trees.

Light didn't really care about it being too cold, that would actually be a welcome change in atmosphere. She followed Copper as she was quite unsure of where to go next. The fire might start dying down, but to fan the flames too hot could result in her life. Best thing to do was listen to somepony most likely smarter than herself.

Copper looked around for the source of the heating air, then looked at a mountain.  He closed his eyes, sensing a heat source there.  He pointed at the mountain with his hoof for Light to see.  "Over there.  I can barely sense an air of heat in that mountain.  If it's the alicorn that's been heating up the forest, we'll need to team up with them in order to restore order to Equestria, and we'll need ALL the alicorns in order to do that."  He looked down to see a trail of fire heading towards the same mountain.  "Let's follow the trail."

 

And with that, he flew at high speed, following the trail of fire.

Magmosor woke up from his rest thinking how he might be adept at heating up things and causing fires, but is bad at cooling things down and taking heat away from objects. He had free control over heat but this always caused him struggle. Might it be related to his cutie mark? His inner desire for fire? Who knows, all he knows he should of practiced cooling things down since that is a whole lot easier than heating things up when defending one self. And so he decided to train, he quickly gathered up most of the water vapor in the air in one spot by use of winds and then condensed it leaving a puddle on the floor. He reformed the puddle slowly into ice, more specific. An ice egg, an elaborate one as well featuring many artistic styles across it. He placed an enchantment on this egg which was hollow to allow it to be transparent to heat meaning heat would no longer affect it unless he wishes so or took the enchantment off. After that he made some small holes in the bottom almost impossible to see and holes in the top which was clearly visible, four of them in total. The most important thing was the ability to pick the top off and put it on. This allowed one to restock the flame he placed in it which he used some of the smaller branches from the fireplace to make.

Eventually the fires ravaging the forest died down, the magma trails became solid, cold stone and the affected area of the explosion caused by the heat elemental stabilized. The moisture from the underground water systems was more than enough moisture for Amarok to work with, and choked the heat away. However, it brought upon the realization of the damage caused, without the fire and smoke in which to obscure the vision, it became apparent that the forest was almost completely ravaged, and what remained of the wildlife was not sustainable by any means. Amarok grew to accept his isolation for just this reason. Everypony was so destructive when they felt like it, which only occurred if one wasn't at peace with living isolated. He didn't want any part of it. The only ponies he was willing to give his lifestyle up for, were gone.

Light quickly followed, even though it appears that the flames have died down. She flew fast after Copper, hoping that they'll find the alicorn quickly, before another fire starts or they all die of heat exhaustion. Why do we have to live in this nightmare world? Hopefully after all the alicorns unite Equestria, all will be peace...

Petal looked up from where she was standing. She had just heard a voice. An alicorn's voice. She flew up in the sky. She felt much safer up in the air, she could feel the light breeze blow her mane.

There she was. There was a white alicorn. She was following something...or someone. Petal could not quite see what was in front of her but quickly rushed over to the white alicorn. Even though they were both alicorns, Petal did not feel very safe. There could be an alicorn hunter ANYWHERE.

"Hi..." Petal said shyly. She waited for the white alicorn to reply.

Light turned around to see a pale green alicorn advancing towards her. Not an alicorn hunter, great. But where has she been all this time? She doesn't seem fazed by the previous fire. 

 

"Where have you been all this time?" Light blurted out. "There was a fire, and a pretty devastating one to be exact. You seem perfectly fine..." She trailed off, and suddenly stopped. "So anyways, there was a fire, you seem perfectly fine, not even one ruffled feather."

 

Was it the right time to tell her? Well, now's better than never.

 

"I found the air alicorn, and we are tracking down what appears to be the fire alicorn... Before he burns down the entire forest or something, and besides, we need all the alicorns for some random mystery spell thats supposed to bring Equestrian society back together or something." The white alicorn continued chattering, but then realized she must continue to follow the trail.

 

"Follow me," she said to Petal. So Light spread out her wings and flew after the slight trail.

Petal took a moment to take in the words the white alicorn said. And when she did the white alicorn was already flying. Could she really mean what she said? She followed the best she could. At last when she reached the white alicorn she started panting.

"Wait! I don't even know your name! My name's Petal by the way. I'm a nature alicorn." Waiting for her reply, Petal rested a bit.

"I'm Light, and I am the electricity alicorn. Fires are my least favorite thing..." She started talking really fast, words a blur. 

 

Light then flew faster, wind whipping through her mane. Must... catch up to Copper Strikes and the fire alicorn... Celestia please let us succeed... Her thoughts were confusing her as she rounded a sharp bend and dodged trees with accuracy. While in the air, Light felt stupid for mentioning Celestia. She was dead for what seemed like ages, why did she care? Why do I care? Because she could have taught me in the ways of becoming a better pony... Light remembered the day Celestia disappeared and the nightmares began. She had been so little back then, and fear was her only world. She facehoofed as that fear began to take over once more, and she found herself following Copper at top speed. Shoot, is Petal able to catch up? I mean, she used to be an earth pony so she may not be fast enough...

Petal was still panting hard even though she had rested for a long time. Gotta catch up... She thought to herself. Light was staring slightly at Petal, but Petal usually chose to ignore things. I wonder why she's so scared of fires? Petal thought. She wanted to blurt it out but she stayed calm and easy. As Light flew faster, Petal could see a blue alicorn. He looked a little fierce and Petal didn't feel like she should talk to him but finally got the urge to say, " Hi. I'm Petal."

The trail seemed to come to an abrupt stop, maybe the fire is gone now. Light panicked a little seeing the trail vanish slightly, now how will they find the fire alicorn? Light wan't very bright when it came to stuff like this. She started getting frazzled, and multiple voices came into her mind.

 

Great, now that trails gone Doomed!

 

Light, you suck. Go read some books.

 

Ask Petal and Copper. See what they think.

 

Just give up. Life really isn't worth it.

 

Go back to sleep. This is all just a really bad nightmare...
