Only good thing GT ever had was the Twin Turbo with inverted aerodynamics in test track at the first game.

"LOOK MOM! I CAN FLY IN A CAR SIMULATOR!"

That game series is too serious about it making it to the 100%.

It's aggravating and not in a good way.

Nosrs, Forza all the way and a N7 paint job on my will-break-the-axles-and-shear-the-tires-to-rims-if-you-accelerate-100%-Mustang.

But that Veyron from the PSP version... and that GT by Citroen! 170+ MPH BACKWARDS!

And the Ring or Midfield Raceway... my favorite courses...

But you can fly very well and Laguna Seca...

GAH! It's so hard deciding what I like best! I guess I'll just have to play more. :3

I love Gran Turismo and have GT5 almost platinum. Finished all the Challenges including the Vettel one, now the only things missing are a few endurance Races and getting 1000cars. :D

One of my favorite cars is the Viper SRT10 ACR.

Favorite tracks are Laguna Seca and Suzuka, least favorite is Cote D'Azur

I play the game with my Driving Force GT Racing Wheel and it's at least 20% cooler than playing with a gamepad ;)

I also like Forza4 a lot, but my steering wheel doesn't work with the 360 so I can't fully judge this game

Although I haven't played GT5 for awhile... I loved Gran Turismo for one reason; the AWESOME intros:

I'm currently on a 9-hour Tsukuba Circuit in an Endurance Race, and something tells me that the two 24-hour race events are EVEN longer than other Endurance races. :o

Can't be as terrible as the Rome 2-hour Endurance race in GT3. I don't like that track at all, including it's reverse counterpart.

least favorite is Cote D'Azur

I don't like that course either :P It's full of blind corners and if you're in a race car without driver's assistance you'll spin out lots of times if you're no good at driving...

Only thing I find really aggravating was if the cars clipped you during blind corners, it made you lose control and you'd have to play catch-up as a result. Plus the license tests are an absolute bore...

The blind corners are a major problem for me. I just can't get a rhythim and feel for that course. And it's the horror with a car with a wider turning radius :P Edited by Wildcard

I personally like blind corners, but you'll have to end up braking early all the time and clip the corner just right in order to make the cornering successful. If you brake somewhat late you will crash, and if you end up clipping the corner too much, you will lose control. This just happened to me a few times with a 787B on the Special Stage Route 11 Reverse course. Definitely need to get more practice on there, but the track's fun. Cote D'Azur, not so much. The second last corner is almost hell.

Blind corners? Pffft.

Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway. I think it's turn 12.

Mute and skip to 1:10.

You will cry blood.

That dude is using a High performance car.

You will have to use a stock cars a few hundred times before you get a car that can handle that corner decently.

Is it as hard as the very last corner of Laguna? From my experience I went out of bounds a few times in GT3 with race cars. Corner is somewhat kinder to F1 cars.

It's three turns in one with 50M/150ft difference in elevation and two wrong tilts during about 200m/600ft.

Yes, it's harder. You go to the gravel every time you try it without a optimized race car.

Thank god that's not in GT3 then, as I would cry blood from having to deal with that kind of turn every lap.

Because of playing racing games and simulations for over ten years now, Laguna Seca has become one of my favorite tracks. I had been racing in an online league in GTR² a few years ago and got my only victory on this track. Since then I know it by heart. ;)

With Monaco it's different, I hate the fast combination after the first corner. Also I am not a big fan of street circruits.

I personally love street circuits, particularly Special Stage Route 5 and 11 and Seattle is somewhat decent to me. Cote d'Azur is a big exception, though.

I know, right? Too bad it only goes up to 5 gears so it's hard to get it to go beyond 240 MPH on the Test Course.

I have, but I finished it on B-spec. However I recently started a new game so I'll have to do it all over again :/

Ow, that must hurt.

More like the developers were out of their minds in including not only one, but three 24-hour endurance races. How the hell can anybody finish that without B-spec?

I actually finished that with a-spec.

You mean you sat in front of the TV for a whole 24 hours?!

Indeed! I had to sleep for a moment, then came back and kept playing.
