Copper was able to breathe a heavy sigh of relief now that the hunters were gone, but it still couldn't be out of his mind as to why this was happening.  The EAAEF gave him something to think about, and that thought was, why was there no balance?  He turned around, facing the other way of the cottage, and began to sing.

Twilight Shadow glanced at her opposite. Then at her futile attempt to stop the inevitable. She narrowed her eyes as her opponent tried to wrap plants around my hooves, i watched them wither and then die, then I turned my focus back towards the life element and shook my head. "It seems you've been busy, too busy. You've upset the balance, i'm here to restore that balance, the balance of chaos" she remarked. "I am you, your opposite, your negative, the results of nature trying to balance itself out."

Twilight Shadow watched a line of water slowly rise out of the ground before freezing. She put her hoof onto it and then turned around towards the pony that possessed some sort of water element. "What am I doing? I'm the Element of Death and Chaos. I'm obviously doing what i'm meant to be doing. The question is, what are you doing?" she growled turning onto him. "The world is out of balance, I'm here to correct that? You wish to oppose me?" she asked.

 

She glanced at the rest of the Alicorns, too many to fight it would seem. Her annoyance was plane, several trees suddenly lost there leaves and several animals entered the void which was death.

Plant Elemental, I don't know, one of us will go unchecked, and that's inba-" His train of logic was interrupted by something primal, the smell of blood wafted up through the air, and his mouth became a pool of desire. He had no hope of trying to disguise his new impulse, he had never been struck with such a want before. His eyes locked onto one of the corpses and he back away a step, Focus. He would have to figure it out later, but now he just hoped nopony paid to much attention to what just happened. "No matter, I will not buckle on this. "I am leaving," turning his back, "I suggest you do the same. Given that other ponies are so unwilling to be left alone, these ones will probably tag along with her." Calling behind him loud enough to reach past the ice wall, "As for you Leafy, I protected you once, don't expect me to do so again. The key element to survival is movement, that's why they found you here." His armor vanished to reveal the pony underneath, stepping away and thinking to himself, I have to get out of here.

Twilight Shadow smirked at his logic. "Unbalance, That is what I need. Though, it must be done though  alternate means. We should either all stick together or break up. There is no middle path" she growled. She glanced at 'Leafy', "if you all go with Leafy, then I will leave, i'm not staying in this place. Though if you stay, those ponies will be back, but with a bigger force to make sure they can take you all down" she finished.

 

She glanced at one of the corpses which was slightly hidden under a bush, she was hungry now, and it was a viable food source. She trotted over to it and dragged it so that they wouldn't see what she was about to do, she first began drinking its blood from the neck delicately. The strength of the pony slowly becoming hers, when she was satisfied did she go in for the meat. This would fill her up for longer then the blood. She left the remains behind in the bush.

 

She then returned to the group, her interest in 'Leafy' diminished now she had fed.

Amarok left them all behind without a moments hesitation, realizing he was somewhat tired. The water in the wall supplied by the water was only moderately taxing, but the absolute zero armor was terribly so. He had planned on moving on, and he still wanted to do so, but he couldn't risk not having the energy for another encounter, so he traveled to the lake again and stepped in, traveling to the bottom. Even though he had been there before, he was sure nopony had seen him even close to the lake and the pitch black bottom of a lake was a great place to hide, considering the only beings that were hunting him couldn't breath underwater, and didn't know he could either.

It was over now.

 

Summer had thought she was to meet her end here, before the face of Death. Then another came and saved her. Then both the other alicorns were out of the cottage before she could even figure out how to properly respond, but the words of the one that had so affectionately christened her 'Leafy' stuck in her mind.

 

He was probably right... She had lived comfortably in this forest for some time, but it was this forest that those enemies had come to seeking her out. She didn't know where she could go. But, maybe she could take comfort in the fact that there were other alicorns, given that any others didn't want to kill her like the one did. Maybe she should stick with them. Either way, she knew she was going to have to leave sooner or later.

 

The damage to the cottage and the flora in the surrounding area was starting to heal itself by her influence as she stepped outside, the Life elemental timid and uncertain. At least things had settled down by now, and the forest had a chance to recover from the remnants of the chaos that had been here; or trying to. The area immediately around the alicorn of Death would stay withered and dead until she left.

Twilight Shadow moved back to where 'Leafy' was. She glared at the Pony wanting to destroy her, though it would destroy the balance, besides more of those evil ponies would probably arrive shortly. She snorted Impatiently at the group before glancing at 'Leafy' "How did you get those powers? or were you born with them" she growled, she knew how she had got her own powers, though it might be dangerous to reveal too much to her opposite. 

 

She thought of something and smirked, her opposite wasn't very opposite after all.

Copper sighed again.

 

This day didn't go so well, and what's worse, now that all the alicorn hunters know that there are a total of six alicorns, their numbers will grow until they have enough to take them all down.  Copper suddenly had a determined face on him, as now he had a plan...

 

...a plan to unite all the alicorns.

And his first plan was in action.  He walked to the inside of the cottage, meeting the other two alicorns, and said, "We need to work together, otherwise there'll be no way for Equestria to be back to the way it was.  And I have a plan that might help with that."

Leaves rustled as the alicorn's wings fluttered. Just a quick, nervous gesture, before said wings slowly settled at her sides once more. "Um, h-how I got my powers..?" Summer echoed, ears flicking back. "I don't... really remember... It happened one day, when I went deeper into the forest. I remember seeing... something. But I fainted. When I woke up, I was an alicorn. I believe I was blessed with these powers..." It was all she could remember, really. The image lingered in her mind, though, of the beautiful creature that must have bestowed her these powers.

 

Then suddenly, another alicorn before her, curious violet eyes turning towards him. Ears perked up, intrigue piqued. "And... what sort of plan would that be?"

Twilight Shadow glanced at him and snorted, "why would I want it to be back to the way Equestria was?" she asked him, she stood up glaring at him, the only plan she wanted to hear was something that would bring about death and destruction, "unless your plan is to go kill more ponies, I'm not participating with it" she added boldly. "I don't take orders from any-old pony, especially one that is a dumb element" she growled. She glared at 'Leafy' "I'm more powerful then she is, so  i should be the leader and be the one making the plans" she hissed.

 

 

Twilight Shadow spread her wings and allowed her horn to charge with magical energy. She sent a blast of her own magic at Copper, expecting his own to be weaker then hers, she would happily fight for leadership of the group. Then she can reshape Equestria to her own desires.

Copper glared at the alicorn that was attacking him, then brought up a shield to protect him from the blast.  He said, after the smoke cleared, "Fine, then.  Don't listen to me.  It will only be your downfall."

 

Since she would randomly attack him, he was going to strike back.  He sent a magic blast of his own, a smidgen stronger than hers, then told the nature alicorn, "You'd better run, now.  This might get ugly."

The current times certainly were strange, while he always knew that magic would screw a lot of ponies over he never had thought it would happen like this. Ironically for the rather boring looking earth pony, nothing changed much, he was still walking about, spreading ideas, working odd jobs... Surviving in this hectic chaos filled world as best he knew how. Currently he was dragging a cart filled with potatoes and other root vegetables, selling them for pocket change to whomever he came across, most notable E.A.A.E.F. troops. 

 

Rhetoric wasn't to sure what to make of these ponies. he didn't dislike them, some of them were very decent stallions and mares simply doing what they thought was right, and from his point of view, whomever those six alicorns were... They were probably dangerous and putting all that power into six voitale beings didn't make him feel too comfortable.

 

But he wasn't stupid either, trying to capture and or kill them was plain stupid, while magic was a pain in the arse and something that had gave him the short end of the stick since birth it had its uses . Hence why he was walking to a forest that had apparently experinced a rise in growth, it was on the way to where he was going anyhow and the idea of meeting an alicorn intrigued him . This world needed some shaping after all and he had plenty of ambition to try to throw his own two cents in to the matter

Twilight Shadow lashed out with her own magic, blocking his incoming attack with a wall shield of her own, she let out a low growl as she narrowed her eyes. This wasn't going to be a easy battle after all. her horn glowed even brighter as she began to harness her build up energy, everything she touched died within seconds while she drained there vitality. She drained the vitality of plants, animals and tried to drain Copper's vitality though he was harder to drain. 

 

She released a death beam at Copper, staggering at the sudden loss of energy within herself, her vision hazed slightly.Beat That she thought to herself.

Copper was surprised at the sudden magic beam, and was sent flying when the beam made contact.  He slid on his back after tearing holes in the walls of the cottage before jumping out of it, landing with all four hooves.  He stood up, and was surprised that he could stand so easily.  That didn't hurt as much as I anticipated,  he thought.  Then a rage face came forth, and he flew straight back in the cottage and delivered a punch at Twilight, hoping to send her flying out of the cottage as well.

Summer should have known it wasn't going to end well, as confrontational as the alicorn of death was from what she had seen. She just barely managed to avoid being caught in the crossfire when the first blast was shot, wings unfurling before the other ever even told her to flee the area. It was all she could do; it was the Death alicorn that was out of control, and her powers of nature and life did little against that element.

 

All she could do was get away, and hope that the fight would turn out for the better. Leaves rustled as she ran, flapping her wings to take to the air once she was out of the cottage; it was faster than running on land, especially for a former Pegasus, and tree limbs subtly pushed themselves out of the way to allow her easier passage through dense foliage.

She flew until she was certain she was a safe distance away. She'd also inadvertently distanced herself from the other, friendlier alicorns, but she could find them later... hopefully. For now, she needed to find some place to hide. So she touched down, the immediate area filled with a fresh sense of vitality. Her passive magic was again stronger, now that she was away from her counterpart's influence.

 

She knew the forest well, that much she had to her advantage. She was going to have to leave sooner or later, but she was hoping she could meet up with her fellow alicorns before deciding on a plan as to where to go or anything of the sort. If they could stick together, it would be for the best in case more hunters showed up. This was just for now, until the fighting had ceased.

 

The elemental kept glancing in that direction, unaware another pony had ventured into her forest.

Luck, Fortune, Karma, Dramatic Irony, what ever you want to call it, had it's way with Rhetoric in the present moment . There more or less a few feet in front of him stood an Alicorn, just right there... 

 

Raising one eyebrow in disbelief, he wasn't quite sure what to do... yell for help...offer help? For starters drawing attention to himself might not be a bad idea 

Clearing his throat "Ahem... um excuse me?, look sorry this is rather awkward for me... but um, oh shoot, um hi?" he smiled about half way still not sure what to do, or why there was suddenly an Alicorn in his midst

Twilight Shadow blinked as his shield absorbed her magic, thats impossible she thought to herself , then he blasted out of the cottage, she smiled to herself walking to where he had smashed out, she blinked as she saw him flying back towards her at a frightening speed, she backed away opening her wings thinking of escaping, until he flew into her punching her in the face.

 

She flew though one of the cottages walls, smashing her wings on the hard wood, she let out a load groan as a sticks scratched her wings. She then landed hard on her hooves outside of the cottage. Twilight Shadow hissed in rage as she got to her hooves, one of her wing hung limply at her side, she glanced at one of the bones and realized it was broken. This male would pay for that.

 

Her horn glowed dark black as she began to drain the life from the cottage, including Copper's life force. she watched the cottage slowly collapse on itself as the plants and trees died within. Twilight Shadow then used the vitality that she was draining from the cottage tor repair her wings and return her strength to normal, it would be nice if she could increase her own powers though it was beyond her skill to do so. If that stallion was dumb enough to engage her again, he would regret it.

Copper saw the cottage collapsing, and had to do something quickly.  He teleported out of there, and watched as the cottage get absorbed into nothingness.  That heartless... he thought.

 

He then caught sight of Twilight, and charged towards her, unleashing a magic beam of his own, hoping that he would damage her just enough to strike her multiple times.

Leaves rustled as the alicorn's wings fluttered nervously, soft violet eyes turning towards the voice. Her ears flicked downward, countenance timid. But there was still a certain elegance to her movement as her wings folded to her sides and she turned to face the stranger. The life immediately surrounding her imbued with the energy of her presence, there was a feeling in the air; the pure essence of life itself.

 

After a moment, her timidness eased away into a gentle smile. Summer wasn't used to meeting other ponies face to face, not since becoming an alicorn, but the least she could do was try to offer the same kindness she always did from afar. She could flee if need be, but she saw it best to give the benefit of the doubt for the moment.

 

"Hello," she said in turn, voice quiet and demure.

Twilight Shadow smirked at him as he teleported out of the ruined cottage, she had finished draining the life out of it, it stood as a dark husk, to any other pony it would look decrepit, the sight of it to 'Leafy' would have probably made her cry at the loss of all the living plants. To Twilight it was the essence of perfection, it was a dark beauty and one that she adored. The world needed to be reduced to this level, to restore the balance and beauty of the world.

 

She saw Copper running towards her and smirked, her horn glowed as dark as the night, She drew a large black shield around herself along with a wall shield, it was powerful one of the most mighty she had made, she saw him fire off a shot from his own horn and retaliated firing one of her own weaker blasts at him, she watched the beam pass though her first shield which shattered it and blinked dumbfounded as the beam continued towards her.

 

She watched the beam pass though her final shield, it held briefly before that too vanished, she felt her body take the remaining impact of the magical spell which flung her several meters back, she felt her head smack against a base of a stump and lay stunned, thats impossible she thought sluggishly, she blinked at the stump realizing she was bleeding onto her mane.

Rhetoric could see that he would have to start if not carry the conversation "Um, I'm sure you've heard but Alicorns are being hunted, so considering the amount of magical activity thats been spotted in this area this place isn't particularly safe for you. Unless of course your the cause for the magical activity...which would make sense, its not like there's a bunch of alicorns in there. I mean there are only six of you" he chuckled 

 

Inwardly though he was conflicted. if those who were hunting these being were to find out he just let her go... there would be consequences, and he wasn't sure if he could blame them.

Summer glanced over her shoulder at the mere mention of being hunted, ears pressing flat to her head again. Those ponies that had attacked were gone for now, but she was certain that it wasn't the last she or the other alicorns would be seeing of them. They'd be back. She couldn't stay. Her beloved forest, her home, tainted with the touch of chaos and death... It would heal if she were able to stay, but it seemed fate wouldn't have it.

 

"I know..." she murmured, looking to the stallion. "I was just recently attacked by the ponies hunting us. This was my home, but they found me, and... I know I cannot stay here. I don't know where to go, but they will come back, and I cannot let them find me again." The elemental sounded calm enough as she spoke, soft tones soothing and even, but she was far more scared than she was confident.

 

The other alicorns. She was well aware they were still somewhere in the forest or in the vicinity of it, but she wasn't sure she should be revealing that much information to a mere bystander.

Copper saw the blood coming out of her mane, then realized one thing...

 

After taking the blast earlier, when he thought it didn't hurt as much as she liked...

 

... he had the advantage over her.

 

He was resistant to her attacks.  He grinned, then landed in front of her, saying as he frowned, "It's no use fighting me, death alicorn.  I'm resistant to all of your attacks, so no matter what you try, you cannot beat me.  I suggest you give up right now, and accept my plan to try and save Equestria."

 

Then a light, warm grin spread across his face, and he winked at her.  "I will say that you are kinda cute, though."

Twilight Shadow glared at him silently, she then stood up and glared at him more. Her head was still fuzzy, though that was clearing, the fuzziness was instead being replaced by rage. She smirked at his grin, "Resistance to all my attacks? You sure about that are you?". Her eyes turned into dark coals as he called her 'cute' She would show him how 'cute' she was,  she asked moving closer, "It seems you're resistance to my Magical attacks, I will grant you that, though,not to my...... Physical Attacks" she hissed. On the word 'Physical' she leaped at him suddenly, her wings giving a quick flap to close the distance faster, she then grabbed him and used her fangs to give him a nice nip to the side of his neck.
