I'm a fan of Batman.  I'm also a fan of the Joker.(And if anyone knows, I'm also a fan of Kevin Conroy as Batman and Mark Hamill as the Joker)  And obviously, I am a fan of Batman taking on the Joker and vice versa.  The Yin and the Yang.  The light vs the dark.  Two Mortal Enemies going at each other.  The battle of the century.

 

But what if the Batman vs Joker scenario started out different?  What if The Joker started out not only as an ally of the Batman(Perhaps when Joker was the Red Hood), but also as a childhood friend of Bruce Wayne(Going under the name Jack Napier)?  

 

How would the Batman vs Joker fight go if Joker started out allied with Batman, only to fall into the vat of chemicals and became the Clown Prince of Crime that we know today?

Well, if they had made out in the backseat of Joker's convertible on Makeout Hill like the Joker WANTED, they might have still been allies. The vat would never have come into play.

The idea of the Joker starting out as an ally of Batman(And friend of Bruce Wayne) before his tragic drop into a vat of chemicals that turned him into the Clown Prince of Crime that we know today.
