Actually, /] should be the one to be used, because the ponies "smack" their hooves together with the center of the hoof, if /) is used it would mean that they are brohoofing... with the side of their hoof? D:

Honestly, I wasn't even aware that /) stood for brohoof until I saw this thread, but, I guess if it's been in use longer, then I'll stick with /).

I would prefer both /) and |), but hardly see that and it looks funny.

Well, I hadn't even really seen /) on the forums at all before; I've only been here for about 3 weeks now, and if I'd seen it used a lot, I might've figured that it meant something, but I really haven't seen it that much.

I use /)*(. They seem more realistic compared to [ or /].

 

I see it the other way. Like I said on the top of the page, /) looks like they are "smacking" with the side of the hoof :v
