Cedar Fair theme parks seem to have a lot of MLP merchandise

I was at Kings Dominion yesterday and couldn't help but noticed that there was MLP merchandise all over the park. I've never seen this at any other theme park, not Six Flags, not Universal, not anything.

Likewise I was at King's Island last year and even then I saw plenty of pony plushes & such at the various game stands. Twas a pleasant surprise; TBH. Maybe Hasbro has some sort of deal with the Cedar Fair organization?

There are some... interesting maneuvers going on between Paramount/Viacom and Hasbro, starting with Hasbro's attempt to buy the Dreamworks Library off of Paramount a couple of years ago that got quashed by Disney. Paramount and Hasbro supposedly have a big picture deal going on right now, trying to put together a 'shared universe' concept with Hasbro's IP. With Cedar Fair running the former Paramount Parks, and having licensing deals with Paramount to keep them afloat, there may be some reciprocal stuff going on.

If anyone can confirm that King's Island (the Cedar Fair park outside Cincinnati) has some, I'm gonna want to go IMMEDIATELY.

But as someone who isn't really that big of a fan of theme parks, this isn't something that would apply to me.

Theme parks usually sell stuff like Sonic the Hedgehog or Spongebob Squarepants merchandise, so maybe MLP has fallen to the same depths as those franchises.
