How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I came across it on Netflix and thought I'd give it a shot. I'm glad I did. Well, right now, I'm hot. Here in the Detroit area we've just gone through three days of mid-90s temps. Add the high humidity, and you get real-feel temps around 100. I like hot weather, but this is a bit too much. And no, I don't have AC. I was more concerned about my cat, Smudge. He hates hot weather. Can't say I blame him with all that fur. Fortunately, it's supposed to cool down a bit (mid-80s) starting Today (Sat.), so that'll be nice. And as I type it's just started to rain...and thunder...and lightning. I hate night time thunderstorms. Good thing I don't have to get up tomorrow. Okay, enough of the weather report. I'm supposed to talk about myself. Hmmm...let's see... Well, as implied, I live in the Detroit area, I'm on staff at a local community college (a.k.a., junior college). I'm kinda the odd-man-out, as it were; I not into sports or politics. I tend to find out things after everybody else does, take MLP for example. I just learned about it this year, so I tend to always be behind the curve (it stopped raining, yea!). I'm kind of a geek, nerd, take your pick. I build my own computers, I'm into synthesizers, amateur radio (ham) and shortwave listening (SWL). I'm also into 3D modeling and computer music production. I like going to movies (mostly sci-fi/fantasy and action) Those are the highlights, I guess. Anything else, you'll have to ask. As for here, I don't know what will happen, if anything.
