open [CLOSED] Open-World Roleplay With Astera And Shade!

"Good. I don't want any harm to come to these ponies... Miasma? Go on about that. The only hive I know of is the Chrysalis hive." He begins to let down his interrogation tone and goes onto a more casual one. And is generally more calm. He towers over Void. His crown glints in the sunlight.

 

"My name is Lord Senvious. Your sister... she seems out of place, her cutie mark, something space related? Or something? Ok, fine I'll stop." He says calmly. "Can we be friends, please?" He asks. Imagining having good times with Shade, Void and Astera. His slit blue eyes are really noticeable. 

"Friends? I don't have friends. I don't even like Astera very much." Shade snorted. She'd never attempted making friends before, due to very... personal feelings that she didn't like to think about. Why would she start now? Besides, she didn't even know this Alicorn. "Lord Senvious." She muttered. "Not a bad name, actually."

 

Astera watches all that is going on from the tree she was thinking under, and decides to involve herself in the conversation. Astera walks over to Shade. "Shade? What's going on? You act like you know them.." She says, glancing at Void, who she gives a questionable look.

Shade turned to her sister, who had apparently decided to finally figure out what was going on. About time. "I don't. I just met them. Kinda. And this guy, Lord Senvious. He seems interested in your Cutie Mark. Or you. Or both."

"Oh... Did something happen? Well.... Would you mind if I ask how you 2 are sisters, since you are 2 totally different species?" He asks calmly. He wants to bombard them with various questions but holds back because he doesn't want to get them mad. He lets out a sigh while looking at the 2, weird mishmashes they are.

"Okay..." Astera said, thinking if she might somehow know the alicorn and changeling near her. "Now," Astera says, turning her attention to Lord Senvious. "You. Shade decided to let Astera answer Lord Senvious' question, due to not particularly wanting to discuss the topic of her birth. It was always one of the only ones that she felt a bit touchy about. So, as her sister spoke, she just sort of looked away, as if uninterested in the conversation. "Yeah, basically." She muttered in reply to Astera once she'd finished speaking.

 

Void quickly answered to first, the large Alicorn with a quick response of "No no no! No attacks, I am pink due to me being from a pink colour coded Hive, Hive Miasma!"

Void then turned to face the strange... Hybrid, he continued to assume she was a Hybrid and responded also"Hive Miasma ma'am, I am... WAS the leading Drone Soldier there, second in command behind my Queen"

He now after responding just sat back, and listened to any conversation

 

"And you," Shade said as she turned to the Changeling, "Why aren't you speaking anymore? I want to hear more about this 'Miasma.' Just like Lord Senvious, I only know about Queen Chrysalis' Hive." Edited January 15, 2017 by Chrylestia600

"Strange. My mother was some obsessed crystral freak and also a dark magic user, and an Alicorn. Her name was High Queen Servia and my father was High King Viakor who was skilled at combat. Her cutie mark was a black crystal and his cutie mark was a sword through the Sun. Do you have anything to ask me?" He asks calmly.

"Hmm..." Astera said, thinking that she would rather get off the topic of mothers, because she didn't like thinking about her own. She liked to put it behind her, and stay herself. Not get emotional over something she could no longer do anything about. "Not particularly, but why are you here in Ponyville? You sure don't look like somepony who belongs here." Astera said, looking Lord Senvious over from head to hooves.

Void stammered after listening for awhile just didn't know how to react but pipped up and spoke finally with his raspy but strangely eloquent voice and a slight twinge of hatred.
"There are five Queens, the five MAIN Queens anyway, there is the Queen of Queens... Chrysalis, then there are the 4 others, Queen Ambrosia, Queen Calliphora and Queen Myxine, then there is Queen Miasma, my mother, my 'Queen' I would rather not speak to much of her, just know she is cruel, foul and cares of nothing but herself she is vain and filled with almost as much violence as Chrysalis herself"

Shade narrowed her eyes, intrigued by this new information. Five Changeling Queens? That certainly came as a bit of a surprise. Also, it seemed as though none of this group really wanted to speak about their mothers. "If you want total, complete honesty," Shade said, smirking at Void, "Your mother sounds like quite an interesting individual that it would be my great pleasure to meet. "I have returned after 5000 years. I was just passing through, when I noticed you 2 and the changeling I thought it was interesting to stop by. What does your cutie mark represent? Something space related?" Astera notices crown, with a blue crystal that glints in the sunlight.

 

  

 

"Hmm.. What a coincidence then, I suppose." Astera said, glancing at the ground in thought. "And to answer your question about my mark, I am not all too sure of what I represent.. I just know that I earned it from playing around with magic and creating a star in space.. Now, I have one more question, what exactly are you lord over?" Astera said, with a curious look on her face.

"You know something that is funny?" Astera said, looking at the changeling with a smirk. "That almost sounds like my sister."

"That's pretty.. Cool. Astera said, surprising herself with saying so. "So, I get the feeling you may not, by your looks, but.." Astera said, and then begins to whisper. "Do you ever prank anypony?" She said with a slight smirk. Hoping that maybe he might be able to pull something on Shade sometime.

Void almost felt either intimidated, or frankly irritated to a certain degree by the lack of respect he always earned when apart of the Hive, but he almost was fond of it, he enjoyed it being able to speak without being spoken too by a higher official

I was loyal, an elitist and would do anything I was told, without question and without fail, even killing two fillies parents for an enchanted artefact that was of use to Chrysalis and my Queen commanded me to do so for Chrysalis, so I did, without remorse until now anyway"

"I did back in the day, but it got old after a while. I used to just de- Uhh, ignore that. Where do you come from? I come from a village hidden away in mountains. Only Alicorns that aren't known." He says casually. 

"Hm, well now I want to know what you were going to say. I don't just 'ignore' things most the time. So tell me." Astera says with a look of anticipation on her face. "And to answer your question, I come from Canterlot." Astera says with a bit of pride, knowing it is the city of which the Canterlot Castle is located.

Void barely winced at the yelling at him being yelled at, being a drone Changeling he is used to it, even if he is different now to what a Hiveling is, he still holds everything he learned to his memory.
"The artifact was a sword, a blade with the ability to nullify all magic it touches, and even nullify magic of the holder, it was a terrifying thing, especially against an Alicorn..."

"I... see." Shade said, slight hesitation shining through. The truth was that she had a very low morals, but that sounded pretty bad even to her. "Well. Then. I gues you're like me. Not concerned about trying to be good, but not going as far as you know you could." She briefly smirked again.

 

"So you are basically saying your a 'good' changeling? Your information is very interesting. Do you know what the other queens are like?" He asks.

 

"And you. You look part changeling, say do you have any drones or anything like that?" He asks calmly, since he knows Shade is more of one of the suspicious types.

"Oh interesting. I am Lord of storms, I create all sorts of storms, hurricanes, tornadoes, thunderstorms, firestorms, all sorts of storms. I create them using my swords. I created the one that was storming over this area." He says in a rather prideful and regal tone.

"No, I don't." Shade said, turning her attention to Lord Senvious once again, her expression turning to one of frustration and annoyance. "But I am part Changeling, as my sister explained to you." She glared at Astera. "Why are you communicating with this Alicorn like he's your best friend? You hardly know him!" She couldn't explain it, but for some reason the obvious display of fondness Astera and Lord Senvious were showing to each other was getting on her nerves. She glared at Astera. "Why are you communicating with this Alicorn like he's your best friend? You hardly know him!" She couldn't explain it, but for some reason the obvious display of fondness Astera and Lord Senvious were showing to each other was getting on her nerves. She turned away from them and began to slowly walk off.

"He's not my best friend, Shade, not even a friend at the moment. I am just curious to learn about who he is and why he is here." Astera said, turning to face her sister, with an annoyed look on her face. "After that, I will be off and back to my life. Nothing more, nothing less."

"I'm sorry but I can't. Who are the current rulers of this area? And cool, whats it like there? He asks sounding like he really wants to know.

 

"Where is it now? Things like that should be hidden from prying eyes!" He says a bit loudly, not yelling.

 

 

"Well, theres nothing preventing her from becoming a friend of mine." He says quietly but she still hears.

Shade stopped dead in her tracks. For a moment she was quiet. Then she turned around, a strange look of anger on her face. "The thing preventing her is that she isn't the friend sort. WE are not the friend sort. Do you understand that? And as for you, Astera. We'll see."

Normally she would find a way to get back at them at some point for not answering her, but in this case, she wasn't sure it would be the most intelligent idea to try and to something to the rather large Alicorn in front of her. "Why 'are' you asking so many questions? It isn't like we knew each other before now." Astera said, now rather annoyed by the thought she had answered so many questions to somepony she barely even knew.

His snarky little chuckle added to his attitude of really not giving two bucks, or giving anything, he then turned to Lord Senvious with a chuckle "If I knew where it was I would be ruling Equestria wouldn't I?"

Lord Senvious frowns. A very faint tear going down his cheek. "B-But... I was hoping... that we could be friends...." He says in a rather saddened tone and he backs off a bit and slowly begins to crawl away in sadness. He shivers slightly as well. Even though Shade is being rather rude, he is still hopeful.

"Look, I get you want to be friends, but I must agree with my sister in the respect that we aren't really the friend type." Astera said, watching the Alicorn slowly walk away. "That's kind of obvious by the fact that both me and my sister don't have any friends already. I guess we are kind of the mish-mashes, you know, the.. Freaks, in a way."

He stops and turns towards them. Erupting in an all out crying spree. He was always the emotional one, this situation no different. He secretly wants the changeling to do something but he doesn't know what. He'll probably laugh or something. His crown falls off his head.

"Look, if you are just passing through then why do you need us to be your friends anyways??" Astera said, now the slightly annoyed, by trying to avoid showing it outwardly. "Here," Astera says, lifting the fallen crown with her magic. "You dropped this, and I'm pretty sure that's not something you want to lose."

Shade stormed back up to Void, giving him a look of rage. "No, you do not. I am not jealous. I don't like other ponies, I have no reason to be. I simply don't like strangers thinking they can show up and we'll all become instant friends. It doesn't work like that."

She rolled her eyes. "You don't even know us, Lord Senvious. And if my sister hadn't spouted off more than she should have, you wouldn't even know a thing about who we are." She didn't understand why he wanted to be friends with them in the first place. Astera was right. They were freaks, and that's why other ponies generally avoided them. "My sister called us freaks. That's what we are. I mean, look at ME!"

Void laughed, slightly, enough to be heard but rolled his eyes at the overly emotional Alicorn and his body showed it's awkward feeling at the Alicorn. His fangs chittering against his muzzle and making strange, confused clicking sounds as he continued quietly watching the events as he leaned against a tree, his muzzle sealed shut now for safe measure. Until he was stormed up upon by Shade as he sighed "I genuinely don't understand emotions, and will always be confused by them, but jealously always had a strong scent..." Void teased at the hybrid with another chuckle but still minding his words to not anger her too far

"Since.... I want to get away from my abusive parents.... and thank you..." He says, grabbing his crown with his magic and putting it back on. "All my life I never have had anyone care for me, my dad was stern and showed no emotion at all, my mom was completely insane." He says sadly.

 

"Freaks to eachother, freaks to the ignorant, but not freaks to me." He says almost quiet.

 

"Oh.. Well, I don't even have parents anymore really.. I have not seen my father in a good long while now, and my mother is.." Astera stopped herself from talking to avoid any tears, as she hated crying in front of other ponies, even though she didn't do it often at all. "So.. My best suggestion would be to try and find some other interesting ponies to be friends with, at least that is my best advice." Astera said, spreading her wings, implicating she is about to fly off somewhere else. Because in Astera's mind, she needed to get some fresh air and alone time. "I've tried that... Everybody shunned me because I was the son of my parents who invaded pre equestria and genocide lots of ponies. AND I used to blow up entire towns for fun and use my powers for 'Evil' until I realized I was wrong." He says bluntly, answering her question from earlier.

Astera prepared herself for flight, but stopped when she heard the Alicorn's words. "Oh.. That's why you didn't want to tell me before now." Astera said, thinking about the reason to why he hadn't. "Well, you aren't evil now, so there isn't a real big need to worry now is there? Just forget the past, focus on the future. I am sure if you tell other ponies that, they'll get it too." Astera said, once again preparing her wings for flight.

"Then something's wrong with your nose." Shade snapped back. "You do happen to realize that I'm mostly Changeling, right? Therefore I share that same ability with you. I am not feeling jealousy. What is there to be jealous about? This simply shows that you don't know enough about me, nor my sister, to understand. Which, I suppose might perhaps be a good thing. Now, close your mouth, before you make me decide to harm you critically. And that would be a shame, I found you to be somewhat interesting."

"Is there anyone in this town that will accept me? Another Alicorn perhaps? Are there any other Alicorns around here? Perhaps ones in power...?" He asks, really wanting to know. Because these 2 may not be his type after all. He is still kinda sad that Astera won't be his friend.

Astera stopped once again, and decided to sit on the ground for a few minutes until the right moment came to fly off. "The only other Alicorns I know about are the princesses in Canterlot and the Crystal Empire. Celestia, Luna, Cadence, and Twilight." Astera said, trying to recall if there were anymore Alicorns she had forgotten.

Void sneered and stuck out his elongated probiscus like tongue and let out a smile as he, in a strangely flirty voice said
"Aww, I find you interesting too... And my muzzle is perfectly find, I smelled the scent of jealousy... But I gueeess it's gone for now... Why harm me? I am an innocent Changeling... With Royal blood of course, so I am not too easy of a kill although even I would enjoy mounting my head on the wall, I am stunning right?" His tone being jokey, but far less teasy to the new hybrid he just met, now he knew why he could smell another Changeling prior, he of course could tell she was mostly Changeling
