Beware the robots Spike...

---

In the story... that I may never finish, Regent builds a living machine and names it Pascal. He is supposed to be Regent's robot minion.

This is the first drawing, but I've been thinking about the character and his role for the past week. I'm likely to tweak the design a bit, and future drawings of the character will be posted in this thread as updates.

Mmm, I might have posted this in the wrong sub.

I wanted to see his back, as it's important to the character.

Visible is an odd black chunk of something that preforms some unknown essential function (usually covered), and six crystals that are replaced on a regular basis.

He's fully sentient, to the degree that he's unable to do things you'd normally expect a robot to do - like photographic memory and recall. In the previous drawing, he's seen writing notes, just like a living creature would do.

There's more going on here, but as I'm figuring the characters out and writing the story, I don't want to spoil or lock myself into any single plot line.
