An episode with antagonist as a main character? (Episode Idea)

There are some cartoons show i know have at least one episode featuring antagonist(s) as a main character, such as PowerPuff Girls, Dexter's Laboratory, Wander over Yonder etc. Their episodes are usually unique and interesting more than usual episodes we see every week. I dont count Crusader of The Lost Mark because it is still CMC episode than Diamond Tiara episode. What I mean is a true antagonist's P.O.V episode, to see the world of rainbow and happiness in their eyes, what their side of story.

 

I dont count Mane 6, Spike, or CMC even they act like an ass in some episode, dont bring them up, even reformed villain wont count. Think about some characters like Lightning Dust, Suri Polomare and even Chrysalis (impossible  ). They may learn a lesson in end of the episode and we still receive moral of the day like usual (character development) or downright punish them, and deliver the same lesson.  

 

What do you guy think? Is it possible for the show to have an episode features bad guys as the main character? A lot of shows have at least one Villain Episode, will FIM got at least 1 in their episode slot?

They actually did something like this in the comics, with an entire issue devoted to Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon, it was kind of fun actually. So I think this kind of episode could work, maybe we could actually get an episode about multiple antagonists? The Flim-Flam brothers, Lightning Dust and Suri all together for example, maybe sharing stories and bonding over their experiences with the Mane Six. 

 

Though, a fun idea would be...what if it was a new antagonist? An entire episode from the point of view of a new character going against the Mane Six, maybe seeing them go through a little arc of their own and learn something at the end.

I think that would be interesting.

 

Personally, I'd like to see what's happened to Suri Polomare since "Rarity Takes Manehattan" because, I really liked her character.

i think it could work. It would be pretty interesting to see an episode involving an antagonist and their POV. A return of Lightning Dust I think could do well in that.. or maybe even Wind Rider. I would say Trixie would be great, but considering we sort of got that with No Second Prances and the Finale, I would leave her out of it.

 

Or they could also introduce Scorpan in this way, trying to free his brother, much like the comics did with Radiant Hope trying to free Sombra. An antagonist that does not realize what they are doing could have such disastrous consequences.

It would be interesting to see the comic alternative world again in the show. I enjoyed that episode with the power ponies. Except it will focus on Maneic forming her villain group much like in the comic.  and make it like suicide squad.
